Why is this so complicated? I bought a new domain from you and then was told I can't add a second website? Then why would I have purchased a second domain?
I am having some trouble navigating things and it's taking a while to figure things out.
I am new to this and completely overwhelmed. It connects to WordPress but the login won't work (I've only had one, so it couldn't have changed). I can't understand the tie-in with WordPress from Bluehost. I get a red alert on the left menu strip and when I tried to chat for help, they noticed I had the wrong domain name so they fixed it and didn't tell me it would make me wait half a day to move forward. I can't tell what I am supposed to be doing next when everything is begging for money. I don't know which ones are required or optional. So far, I'm VERY discouraged and unhappy.
Just beginning, but I like how easy everything was to set up.
Having a very hard time navigating through this. Repeatedly putting same information in and getting it somewhat where i think i want it and then it disappears. I mention I have Aino blocks and need to remove them so I will l be able to fully operate what I want to do, and I can't figure out how to remove it even sending an email for help that doesn't help me. Feeling confused and very frustrated
Its been very confusing about domain transfers and servers and so forth. I've had to use Google and Youtube to figure it all out.
I signed up today and I was excited to build my site on their Builder. I was looking forward building a site just as the video instructed. Drag and Drop. Unfortunately, the web builder page could not be opened and after several attempts I decided to call customer support to inquire why that was so. What I was told was that Bluehost was aware of the problem and is attempting to solve it. Now I understand that these issues occur. But why not have a notification box inform us that the page is experiencing problems when we try to edit our sites? Instead, I had to search for the company contact number, call customer support, inquire whats happening and then get an answer. So far my first impression of Bluehost is pretty bad.
Buggy Control Panel
1) seems disconnected from Sotaculous WordPress Installer and I'm getting 2) 2)duplicate sites under 'my sites'
3) 'my sites' keep changing name on reload of screen
I find it very hard to follow the limited instructions. A live chat provided only YouTube Videos for creating an online business rather than talking me through how to set up a blog. The tabs are also complicated to understand.
So far it is fine but I think in an effort to make it easier for people it has been over complicated a bit. I am used to cpanel and the way it used to be before the special dashboard etc- which I find cumbersome. That could just be that I know what I need and want to do and I am not new.
So far, I have enjoyed using bluehost as my host. However, I do not have a lot of traffic to my website yet, so I cannot rate accurately.
The system is user friendly, once you get the hang of making improvements or updates to the website.
Solved the problem asap. Good good good good good good good good good good good good
My website was not showing up online, and I called BlueHost. The Representative spent some tie on the phone with me, and she was able to help and solve the problem in one phone call.
I received help with my issue quickly and the issue was resolved.
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
