I tried for days to build my website, and when i'd click the button nothing would happen. Even after several attempts today, i'm not sure why all of a sudden the button worked.
Definitely needs to be more user friendly, it took me a very long time to figure out how to navigate this platform.
Best in simple use but need little bit more improvement
Not the easiest way to build a website. Why can't it be more straightforward with the ability to edit the whole thing in one place?
Good, having issues with security stuff and it seems that things don't get updated simultaneously.
I'm still learning, was a bit of a challenge getting into how I've been taught on during a course. I think that Bluehost might have changed the experience a bit, but I'm back on track and can't wait to finish to be able to start my business as this is the only source of income I will have.
Im having major issues. My domain (meetatmidfield.com) is not accessible, it either redirects to meet-at-midfield.com (its another wordpress I control, but it is NOT set to redirect) or gives a security error that will not allow me to access the site. I am UNABLE TO WORK ON MY SITE for this reason, even though my wordpress site with the meetatmidfield.com domain seemed initially successful. Bluehost's Domains tab intermittently tells me that my DNS settings are incorrect (with a red indicator), but only offers to point me to my registrar (google domains.) Google proceeds to replace the "bad" information with identical "good" information, which turns the indicator on my Bluehost dash green—but it still throws errors, and only a few minutes later its red again. PLEASE HELP
Slow and buggy. Frustrated with Wordpress. The Wordpress builder only make things even more confusing.
Setup was easy but despite having built Wordpress sites before (using other hosting companies), I am finding BlueHost hard to use. Lots of plugins installed which cost $$ and spam you with emails and notifications.
Having trouble getting my domain name to bring up the website.
Not finding a web portal for my users or branding options for my domains email. I'd rather have my logo in the top left corner of the emails web portal instead of the name of the web app. Same with the login page if there is one. I also cant find an option for Aliases. I'd like for some of my email addresses to contain multiple. For example Mike@~~~ should also be Michael@, and i'd like to be able to customize it further to add more and split the emails out manually using filters.
I am having a really difficult time making edits to my website and it keeps going offline
I'm still figuring our what I'm doing. I can't really give an accurate rating
I am confused. I only want Bluehost domain and WordPress.org for sure. I accidently clicked Migration when I was going forward to build my site.
I clicked on Write your blog and it says WordPress.com.
I keep trying to go back and nothing.
I contacted support and they gave me some type of token, but the number changes every 30 seconds.
I am not computer savvy.
I was on:
https://my.bluehost.com/hosting/app/#/onboarding/wordpress/migration
Now I am at:
Https :// my/bluehost.com/hosting/app/#
Can you please bring me back to where I need to go to have a WordPress.org???
There are a number of steps to complete to set up a website, and while each one is not difficult, all of them together are fairly overwhelming. Currently I'm trying to have my SSL certificate verified and it's not working and my email account will won't receive emails but can send them and my website still has a temporary domain name instead of the one I paid $100+ to buy. It's frustrating.
There are issues loading and it is not easy to figure things out the first time.
I am lost and not able to get my site theme up. I need help.
I want to change my domain name and website name. I literally just purchased this service/product 1 week ago maybe. I have no idea how to change it. Please help
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
