Very easy signup and hosting setup. Had a little trouble with forcing ssl, not obvious, had to do a little searching. Also establishing a free email was a little tricky, thought Email&Office tab did it, not cpanel.
Not user friendly, the blocks are complicated, and the add on paid service are not that valuable or helpfull
Require very complicated PW and to much security for small and simple stuff.
I just need my SSL Certificate turned on and can't seem to get to someone to help. When I click chat it doesn't take me to anyone i can chat with
I would like to start my simple blog, creates a daily message, give URL and domain link on my blog homepage for readers to respond with messages and feedback. I don't think I need a big flashy web site presence.
Please let me see, "Start you blog here, Bluehost will guide you through it"
I am a new customer. Working from my phone, I'm prohibited from making simple changes to my profile. I followed a link sent by a chat rep, hoping that I'd be able to access and change my profile information that way. This is taking too much time.
I joined with much hesitancy as I am not tech savvy. I understood there was some help where they ask if you want a little or a lot of help, preliminary questions about the website I want... etc. I just was put to the home page with a list of shortcuts a login to wordpress, etc. I have no idea where to go from here.
Horrible. Not able to create site. Thought this would be quicker than Godaddy
I have tried several times to use the builder option but it never loads.
Easiest setup I have had in getting my site running.
Way too complicated for a beginner, very bad experience.
The login had issues an my affiliate link is not showing up but it seems to work well.
The biggest issue I have currently is the login never logs in with my password. It tells me that I'm locked out. I know that I am using the correct password. I'm thinking there is maybe a brute force attack or someone trying to crack the password, but its very annoying.
I also can not copy and past my post from another blogger to here which is annoying but not my primary concern this moment.
Been challenging to use the website builder. At first, it wouldn't load and then next, t keeps crashing.
Just getting used to it, haven't done a site in a while and liked the old html / cpanel stuff...
Having a lot of trouble connecting to my existing domain.
Site is down/Error is Safari can't can't find server. This is one day after loading Divi and building a "Coming Soon" page.
Building a website first time, in bluehost top sheet, there are three confusing options
1. My Sites
2. Log into Wordpress
3. Edit site in Builder. Which one am I supposed to use? I tried all three and was coming and going and no idea where I was
I have tried to start my website/blog several times. It is not saving the information and I have to start over again. I find the dashboard not to be intuitive at all.
I have built many other websites using templates on other platforms that are way easier to navigate.
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
