The main dashboard takes too long to load now. It has to refresh twice every time after I log in.
Tired of re-authenticating every time I log in. The website creation tools are a struggle.
It becomes so expensive now I need to renew I will have to change the host because the price is very high
Still not a sale, but looking forward. Best tool ever
I transferred a website from GoDaddy during February, and before I did, I specifically confirmed that bluehost technicians would provide support for the move to ensure I would not have any downtime. Honestly, I think the reason many sites stay with a bad provider is because making a change is fraught with peril. Well, I encountered all of the peril. I worked with several technicians. All were pleasant and professional, and a few were good, but before I connected with the techs who had any level of expertise, I first dealt with many who were untrained, unfamiliar with the bluehost environment, and either made changes to my site which disabled it, or gave me bad information which caused considerable downtime and delays. It made me question whether moving from GoDaddy had been a good idea. My site has a lot of content (many audio files) so it is large and every minor change seemed to take a very, very long time (which I had not experienced with GoDaddy. Currently, the site is working, so after my experience I have stepped back to recover from the trauma. But my backups are not working (it seems I have to pay more in order to support backups of my large site, which seems like being nickel and dimed since I do not recall having seen any limitations to backups when I first signed up with bluehost. Also, I want to be able to update my staging site from my production (ie push the current production to staging) but I have no confidence that the system will do that correctly or that bluehost tech can support making that happen.
User ID is not saving on passwords and I have to hunt it down. I just recently saved it on Notes for Edge.
I love the ease of use and the accessibility of support.
I'm starting to learn it and appreciate it more every day.
I find your service slow and your interface, including payment information, opaque. I have been disappointed by Bluehost since I became a user.
I don't like the new privacy protection. Its onerous.
Extremely upset with my website being deleted, and my email not working.
It's been a great experience so far. I think things should be a little more explanatory when it comes to basic instructions and being user friendly. For instance, when changing themes, there is no instruction on how each theme is to be changed, and it's very difficult to figure out. An example would be how to change the default pictures for each theme.
Issue with site once again. Daily issues over past 3 weeks now. Not impressed! Cant even use Chat to Us feature today either
Your website still block my connection without any specific warning! I still have to use VPN to connect? How dare you still charge my money and block me at the same time!
Absolutely shoddy work at every level! Three months after signing on nothing has been achieved. You seem incapable of following instructions so I've wasted many hours trying to communicate - but everything is simply ignored by your "oh-so-creative smart Alecs" who assume that I don't know what I want and they do. Very frustrating. Deeply regret signing on to work with you>
A veces el servicio de soporte es lento y tortuoso.
Everything is great, and the web hosting is also very fast, the guideline is pretty clear
The hosting is generally solid, getting the domain names set up and renewed is straightforward. The use of extremely dated Python 2.7.5 and limited features of older Python 3.x supported release, plus other on-host tools are a detriment to developing unique experiences for my intended audience / future customers who need far more sophisticated resources than Wordpress can provide. In addition, it is not in my business' customers' best interest to allow the many built in data collection elements of the primary Bluehost supported toolsets (including Wordpress add-ons), looking forward to the Bluehost virtual servers someday being upgraded to more modern Linux base distributions than the currently unsupported CentOS baseline.
You deleted my site with no backup or notification.
For a first time customer the experience has been good.
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
