I highly recommend everybody use any other service and Bluehost. I got a domain through them, and after I got it, I added more securities which I paid more for privacy and protection. Once I got it, they refunded me the money and said that it looked like a fraud after two weeks of me calling every single day to find out why. Once they found out what was going on, I had to email them saying go ahead and take the money back so they could activate it, and it's still inactive. It was the worst experience ever. If this was an active domain at this moment, I would be losing hundreds.
I transferred in a domain from GoDaddy. aradesignsllc.com. It's been over a month and at least 4 chat sessions and my site is still not funtioning correctly!

For example, I called BH earlier today and spoke to Aiz. I had a very specific question about where to find a toggle switch and STATED VERY CLEARLY AT THE BEGINNING OF THE CONVERSATION "DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING."
Without asking me or telling me beforehand, Aiz chose to change the nameservers for my domain, thinking they were incorrect and they were not. This created a lot of problems for me, as the situation was not easily resolved by changing them back.
In general, your support staff will not allow an unhappy customer to take the survey at the end of the call. They only send the call to the survey if they are certain they will get a 5-5-1 score. Unhappy customers who ask to take the survey are told to hold for the survey and then disconnected before being able to take the survey.

Since December 2023 Bluehost had PROMISED me that if I renew my hosting they'd reinstate ALL of my websites. I've paid...and have spent hours on chat etc. to hold Bluehost to their promise. Instead of keeping their promise, Bluehost keeps giving ME assignments - that I don't understand at all. I am NOT a tech person. I'm very angry with Bluehost for killing all of my websites and 18 years worth of business...and blaming ME for it all.
I'm still sick over loosing 2 old domain names I'd kept with Bluehost, yet somehow Go Daddy got ahold of them and I lost both.
I have been having problems for almost two months. I have felt with numerous people who left the call with the expectation set that the problems would be fixed and they are not fixed. Between me and my staff over 40 hours of time has been spent and there is still problems and a lack of confidence in security, billing, and support. It is so far beyond this available space for all I have to tell you all about my recent horrible experience. Firstly I want to speak to US help ONLY and you ONLY provide that if I select "new service" when phoning. I do NOT discuss ANY business with reps in other countries. PERIOD. Not my banking, not ANY of my accounts or business dealings. That's just the start. I don' t have the energy to go beyond that at this point. Your "representatives" already took hours of my time AND failed to do al they promised to do which resulted in you taking money from me AGAIN for a service I cancelled. NOW I have to wait for you to "refund" what you should never have taken the first place
I have had a poor experience with email support. I've spoken with 4 different agents who have told me the problem will be solve and to wait but every time the issue persists.

Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
