Ordered a very expensive arrangement for my niece's #40 Birthday Party. Never delivered and the only compensation was an offer to take off the delivery charges!
They wouldn't tell me who the florist was in Wilmington, NC who was responsible for making this arrangement and delivering it in a timely fashion.
Too BAD so SAD... NEVER will use this company again!
Ordered online, found out you have to get roped in to some stupid rewards program in order to get their "advertised" prices. Don't order from here.
I purchased flowers for a funeral. Never arrived. Website was great and customer service was nice. Just the follow through is bad. This really hurt me because they could not deliver for the unity of the grandchildren last good bye at the burial site. Will never use or trust them as a standing company.

I ordered an arrangement for a friend and when it arrived she sent me a picture of it. Her arrangement looked nothing like the one pictured on their site (fewer flowers and fewer ribbons). I called the company, they profusely apologized, said that some of their vendors have been known to skimp, and they promptly issued a full refund. Although I was dissatisfied with the product, I am very satisfied with their follow-up.
They send e-mails with "35% OFF". You pick an arrangement and get a price with discount! Only $20.99 delivered today! Then you go through all the send-to stuff and message on card, ec then check out.
WHAT? A $17 service fee and another $3.00 handling fee? Now my $20 order is over $40.

Informed me four oclock on the day flowers were to be delivered that they had no florists in Memphis that could fill the order
Ordered flowers paid 70.00 only to find out it is extra 10.00 to deliver in morning hours no where on website about morning or evening delivery. My wife went on vacation before flowers were delivered. Never again

I ordered flowers to be delivered at my wife's office and they were never delivered. I paid extra cash for same day delivery and they did nothing about it.
When I called at 12 they said they will deliver by 3, when I called at 3, they said they will deliver by 5. When I called at 445 inquiring about the delivery, the EXTREMELY RUDE lady said "You have 15 mins left. If we cannot deliver, we will repay all money."
I called her again at 6:28PM and she had no clue that the delivery was never made. Her only answer was 'Sorry' and when I asked her what about the fact that I wanted to give my wife flowers on a special day, her reply was 'I cant do anything about it'
These people are a bunch of crooks who should not be allowed to do business. Just a bunch of ridiculous lazy thieves. She promised to send me an email confirming a complete refund and I have had nothing in the past 24 hours.

So very, very disappointed - and angry - with this company. I placed an order on Monday, May 6th (not yesterday, or today - but almost a WEEK ago) for a Mother's Day delivery in Hawaii. Blooms took my order, took my money and CONFIRMED it. Then today - Mother's Day, a SUNDAY, I get an email cancellation, and a voice mail that says "sorry, our florists in that area can't accommodate anymore deliveries on Mother's Day. We'll cancel your order and refund your money - within 5-7 business days. You can place a new order if you want it delivered MONDAY." Which is so NOT Mother's Day. Are you serious? You've had my order, and my money for almost a week, and you wait until this morning - when I have no way to order from another, more reputable vendor - to cancel my order? And then you won't give me my money back for another week? And of course when I call the 800 number in their email cancellation, I get a recorded message and the news that their customer service people will be in on Monday. So no one I can even speak with. And now my Mother, who I can't be with on Mother's Day (since I live in CA), has nothing. And not that I would EVER use this company again, but you don't even have the decency to offer me a massive discount on my next order. Or better yet - to deliver the order I originally placed (again, LAST Monday) tomorrow - and still refund my money since you screwed up SO badly. Yep - getting more angry as I write this. I will never use this company again.
Complete SCAM! All I wanted to do is send flowers to my girlfriend. They use marketing tricks to and "discounts" to get your attention. When I looked on the credit card statement I was charged $9.99 for some membership that I didn't wanted or needed. When I called to cancel it, they told me I cannot cancel until two weeks after I signed up. They would not refund my money either! Very disappointed and will NEVER use them again!
Your flowers may not be delivered even if you get a conformation e-mail so if you really want flowers for a special event delivered do NOT use BloomsToday.com. How can a refund make up for flowers not being at my fathers funeral?
I ordered flowers at 10 pm the night before my daughters 29th birthday. I requested delivery the next day between noon and 3 (its the only spec request i had). I was to be in the hospital on her birthday so i was planning a surprise. At 3:05 pm no flowers but a voicemail on my phone (no signal in the hospital) saying that they had to substitute 3 kinds of flowers "would it be ok?" i didnt know of this call till 4:15 when we started calling about the flowers that were no longer a surprise (or NOT there either). They said they would call us. At 5 pm i left the hospital and spoke to my by now disappointed daughter. No flowers... i called their 1 800 and was told the ORDER HAD BEEN CANCELLED! I WAS LIVID! I sincerely wish i could give them negative amounts of stars... oh, and our credit card has been billed for the flowers and the hokey companies you have to subscribe to to get their discount... livid in texas
I decided to order flowers, they tell you if you order today you'll save 50% off by signing up to bloomsrewards.com just by putting your email address. After you place your oder, the receipt shows that you've paid the discounted price. So you're happy. Then they will send you an email, saying that they will charge you FULL price for the flowers PLUS $9.99 for the bloomsrewards membership. I called BLOOMSTODAY.com trying to cancel everything and I had to call 4 times and speak with 4 different people, everyone gave me a different story everytime. They would NOT cancel my order. Every single one was very difficult to talk to, telling me supervisors were not available and they were the only ones that could cancel my order.
I ordered what was supposed to be a discounted arrangement for Valentines Day for my wife at $64.99 and was charged $141.00 plus a recurring $9.99 charge for some rewards program. On top of the unauthorized amount being charged, the flowers were NEVER delivered. They shut off their phones, there is no answering service and all numbers go to the same place. After some research I found that they only employ about 4 people but the e-mail address I found was *******@bloomstoday.com. She is the Administrative Contact and Technical Support person. I would recommend that no one ever buy from this site or their true store name which is Flowers Today Inc. According to this site (http://www.aboutus.org/BloomsToday.com) the Better Business Bureau gives them an F. STAY AWAY!
I purchased a floral arrangement from this site. Everything looked excellent on the website and they guarantee fast shipping and delivery. I placed an order to surprise my wife for Valentine's day feeling pretty confident about their services. I later received and e-mail stating that there were no florists to deliver to my address. I also found that the price quoted to me on the website was NOT what I was charged. BEWARE this site charged me a hidden $30 in fees! They are going to give me a full refund, however, I will not receive it for 5-7 business days. I find this ridiculous considering it took all of 30 seconds to take my money. Now I am left out of money and time to recover this blunder as well as in the hot seat for a totally shot Valentine's day. THANK YOU BLOOMSTODAY.COM.
To sum this all up I am the polar opposite of satisfied with this company. I am advising anyone I talk to, to steer clear of this website. I gave it zero stars and if I could I would give it negative stars. I wish I had another set of hands so I could give this site four thumbs down!
They promise you half price plants and low cost delivery fees. Watch out there is no discount if you don't pay 9.99 every month and this is in very small writing. There is small shipping fee but, a large service fee. If you see half price flowers go and pay full price with another company.
Answer: They are legit, but what you order isn't always what you get since the flowers come from a florist in your delivery area.
