I ordered the middle choice for a funeral bouquet for a friend's grandmother and called to confirmed they received my order (the reason for 1 star for customer service). What was sent was not what I ordered and not at all for the amount of money I spent. I've read they use local florists to create but the ball was dropped somewhere! Whether on the florists end or Blooms Today, not sure, but it's clearly not what's expected on the website.
I purchased a centerpiece for my sister thru Groupon. The said the centerpiece had been delivered. I checked with my sister & she said she did not receive them. I called them & they said they would deliver them again and after being on hold for over 10minutes they said they couldn't do a centerpiece but could do a Christmas bouquet. I didn't see why they couldn't do a centerpiece when only a day had gone buy. They said a supervisor would call me back in a few minutes. After 30mins I called them back & I was told the order had been canceled. I told them I hadn't canceled it. A bouquet arrived the next day & it didn't look Christmasey at all. Some flowers were droopy & the roses were fully open. Most of the flowers only lasted a couple of days. The final blow came when I saw the card said Safeway floral. I was so embarrassed to see they came from a grocery store. I will never use them again nor recommend them!

The company has a deceptive practice of enrolling you into their $9.95 a month auto-deduct program. If you take any discounts they charge you $9.95 a month until you cancel. They say they send you an email and if you did not get it it may have gone to your spam because it is sales, this is from the lady who confirmed I had canceled because I did not trust them. Never use this company as they have had 100's if not more complaints! Lesson learned to check the reviews of company's like this before using their rip-off service. I had a friend who passed away in Louisiana and Blooms To Day (Echovita) offered multiple types of flower arrangements that as it turns out they didn't know if they could fulfill. I get a call the day before the funeral asking me to change the order which I did. I got another call 1 hour before the funeral indicating they couldn't fulfill the order. Therefore my thoughts and prayers for my friend would not be communicated through the flowers I had ordered. This company counts on the death of others to get business then when they can't deliver what they promise offers you $20 off the next order... ha there won't be a next time for me and if you read this you should just call a local florist and not use this service.
Ordered flowers for my mom. What I ordered and what she received were completely different. I contacted Blooms Today and they said they'd redeliver. Then they emailed and said they wouldn't be able to deliver so they cancelled the reorder and said they'd refund my money (I'm at the point of waiting for the refund). Have never had this happen with any other florist so definitely won't use them again.
I wish I did my research prior to using Blooms Today. I ordered flowers early on Friday morning. Told they couldn't do same day delivery so guaranteed delivery by noon Sat. Of course there was an extra Sat delivery charge. They never showed up. No phone call. Nothing! No explanation. I had to call customer service and best they will offer is a refund in 5-7 business days. Do NOT use this delivery service!
I ordered the Modern Elegance Flowers for my sister yesterday. They never arrived. I am very unhappy with this company.
I will never order from Blooms Today ever again. I placed an order paid extra for weekend delivery and within 4 hours. The delivery was supposed to be there by noon Saturday at the latest. I get a phone call at 4:00 saying they can't do a weekend delivery. Well if you couldn't do it you should have told me that when I ordered the flowers! If I wanted them delivered on Monday I would have ordered them for Monday. I have never had an issue like this with 1-800-flowers or Teleflora. Save your money and go buy them elsewhere. Terrible service. The flowers better be worth the wait. They should change their name to Blooms 3 days from now much more appropriate.
My first delivery did not arrive on selected date. Customer service found another florist for me as I obviously didn't want the neglectful florist originally used. I will absolutely use Blooms Today another time as I was totally satisfied with my experience.
Flowers come from a third party local florist and look nothing like what the picture showed that I ordered.
Update- I emailed them about this order and Blooms Today issued me a partial refund. I'm very pleased with them for making this right.
Please do not order from this company. I placed an order one month ago for Mother's Day. The order was cancelled by the company on the intended day of delivery.
I got a lousy $20 off coupon for a future order which will totally make up for the missed opportunity of not getting my mom flowers on Mother's Day
I know they have some groupon discounts, but please do not support their business
I ordered flowers through funeral home obituries web site(Echovita) two days ahead of the funeral of my aunt. A vary nice photo of my order appeared. Making all look good. Yet with less than 24 hours left I got a notice that NO FLOWERS were avaible. A green plant was suggested as a substitute. With little or NO TIME left to find another florist I have been forced to send a inferior and unwanted product in mothers name. I feel duped and wonder if others that ordered from here have also been duped leaving my aunt with only green plants at her service. Oh by the way that photo! Of the nice flowers is still on the website making blooms today look like they sent them!
I ordered a certain sympathy bouquet in a certain vase. It came from the florist in a cheap vase and not at all like the picture but did use about 50% of the right flowers and was delivered on time.
I showed customer service the photo of what was ordered vs what was delivered. They will do nothing but tell you how they hope your 'emotions' were satisfied with the delivery.
Nonsense. Give me a refund, the florist let them down and they condone it.
Flowers ordered for my sisters birthday were never delivered and they reached out at 7:30PM at night to tell me that. WHO DELIVERS FLOWERS AT 7:30PM AT NIGHT. It's not a funeral!
Blooms Today is not a trustworthy online florist. I was sucked in by a Groupon coupon which was cleverly worded to deceive you into thinking you were paying much less than you are actually charged. Then, without any notification, they deliver whatever the local florist who fulfills the order has on hand, rather than the specific vase or arrangement you ordered. I could have done better at the local supermarket!
The red & white arrangement is what was delivered. The next pic is the full, lush version I ordered of a beautiful blue/clear, square vase with mostly blue and white flowers. Disappointed is an understatement!
We wanted 3 days during Christmas and NO DELIVERY
They didn't have a clue as to the status of our order. All they do is notify the flower delivery vendor, without any response. NOTHING SHOWS UP. EVER...
Do not purchase flowers from this site. If I'm correct they have local florist create a bundle for you so you never get what pictured online I actually spent $100 on a bouquet for my mom for her birthday and that's what I spent for her birthday nothing else assuming it was going to be absolutely beautiful I got a message the day of her birthday when it was supposed to be delivered saying that no florist had what I selected but something similar would be created so I already knew I wasn't going to get some thing as good and what was delivered was 12 pink roses this is what I ordered and what I got smh
These people have terrible services on EVERY level.
FLOWERS that were ordered for an occasion were NEVER DELIVERED and numerous emails and calls took way too long for a reply. They have limited customer service hours and really do not care about providing positive customer ship. When I finally spoke to someone she said my flowers could be delivered in two days. THREE DAYS AFTER THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO BE DELIVERED!
Interestingly, but not surprisingly, THEY CHARGED MY CARD IMMEDIATELY-THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND GAVE ME NOTHING BUT STRESS AND EMBARRASSMENT AS THESE WERE SENT AS A GIFT. They are a ZERO!
AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE~~!

CUSTOMER BEWARE! DO NOT USE BLOOMS TODAY! I purchased a Holiday Centerpiece, on 12/14 scheduled for delivery on 12/17, order was confirmed and delivery was confirmed. CENTERPIECE NOT RECEIVED. Called and emailed, Customer Service said they would refund and send another one express. Credit card charged again and then I received a phone call telling me they have no vendor to send centerpiece to recipient. If I didn't check on original delivery, credit card was already charged, they would have never contacted me in the first place that they didn't have a vendor to fulfill the order, not once but twice.
A RIP OFF... Your card is charged at the time you place the order and they have your money but you have no flowers. In this instance they had enough time to contact me and let me know they could not deliver!

The reason why I gave a two stars only because the bouquet was created well and was exactly like on the picture. Meanwhile, the order was delivered on the NEXT DAY of event! My surprise gift for the best friend who came from the hospital was completely collapse jus because of your terrible service! I call to the customer service on the same day of scheduled delivery afternoon to check the status of my order. The lady from your office promised to check the delivery status but nobody call me back with apologies or gave me refund...
I definitely wouldn't recommend this company if you need to send the flowers for specific day because you have a big chance to not receive it!
Answer: They are legit, but what you order isn't always what you get since the flowers come from a florist in your delivery area.
