I have a dear friend in Australia, which I wanted to send a birthday gift as a surprise. Now I sit here, and the person havent recieved anything. What a let down feeling, 125 USD down the drain to surprise someone on thier birthday. I´m so dissappointed.
I ordered a "Sympathy Bouquet" which was on one of the half price sales. I paid $50 instead of $100 plus $19.95 for delivery. I presumed that I would get a beautiful bouquet of white flowers (worth approximately $100), similar to the picture shown on their website. A beautiful "Sympathy Bouquet" is meant to lift the spirits of those mourning the loss of a loved one.
When I saw this beautiful (sarcasm) "Sympathy Bouquet" I was horrified and sent a message complaining to Bloomex. I received a reply telling me that they're sorry that I was not happy with the bouquet but you can't always get the same as the photo and that due to Covid, bla bla bla and patted themselves on the back for giving me a $20 voucher towards the next order.
I will never order through them again.
NO RESPONSIBILITY FROM THEM AT ALL!
Like others, I wish I could give no stars. Worst online shopping experience ever. In a time of bereavement, I ordered the same day delivery (and paid extra for it) of flowers and chocolates to a relative last Saturday morning. No delivery. 3 days of emails, online support desk chat and a long phone call later, there is still no delivery. Today I ordered a similar delivery from a competitor - a lovely arrangement was delivered within 3 hours, with great communication at every step. Just before 2pm today (Tuesday), Bloomex finally emailed me to say the delivery would now be Wed or Thurs, but cannot even guarantee that due to severe storm warnings. (BOM says fine with only 20% chance of rain in Sydney this week). To compensate they included a $20 store credit - something I had already said in writing that I would not want as I will never use them again. I demanded a full refund, especially as they haven't even sent them yet. They advertise as being a "family business" and "Australia's official florist", yet when ringing their 1800 number I got a large call centre and could barely understand the heavily accented representative who kept putting me on hold with "Just give me a moment", then a promise of delivery by 8pm Monday night... which did not eventuate. Online chat help desk mostly gives meaningless pre-programmed answers, though one did write that they are a huge company sending thousands of orders every week, so a few bad reviews give the wrong impression. Please read all the reviews before being lured by false promises to ordering with Bloomex. (No photos to show as nothing delivered). (PS Within minutes of me posting this review on another site I have been offered a full refund, and I hope they follow through. My email stating that my next steps would be negative reviews, then requesting a merchant chargeback through my bank, then complaint to Dept of Fair Trading and ACCC may have also been an influence).
Do not order from here if you want flowers to be delivered on a specific day.
So disappointed!
A fruit basket I ordered was delivered containing substandard and mouldy fruit. They offered me a 30% voucher against a future order which I declined as I would never use this company again. I asked for a 30% refund at least but instead they offered me a measly 10% refund which I reluctantly accepted. If you are looking to send someone a fruit gift my advice would be to look elsewhere. I would rather pay a bit more so the recipient receives something that is at least edible.
I would advise to not deal with this company. The picture on the left is what is advertised on their website and the one on the right is what was received. I also paid extra and upgraded to a bigger bunch then pictured. As you can see it is not what I paid for ($89.90). I have spoken to the company and keep getting the run around. They say they will be intouch within 24 hours but you never hear from them. Very disappointed
DO NOT USE BLOOMEX! I don't know who is putting arrangements together for Melbourne deliveries, but twice now I've received flowers from a friend via Bloomex that have been dead, dying or mouldy. Does Bloomex feel it's appropriate to send decrepit flowers when they're being sent with condolences for my deceased mother?
My friend had to fight to chase the order she placed after taking Bloomex two weeks to deliver, tried to cancel, then obviously had a new (dead) bouquet of flowers sent to replace the first bouquet and broken vase, knowing I was going to receive dead flowers in sympathy for my dead mum.
This is shameful. Bloomex better refund my friend in full for this disaster they call a business. If I could give negative stars I would. They don't even deserve one star.
The photos are of both bouquets and smashed vase. People need to see the disgusting product these people are peddling.
The straw that broke the camel's back was the sympathy note from my friend printed on the back of a coupon. What, they can't afford proper cards to include? Tacky.
I purchased flowers for delivery to a friend at $55. I was charged an additional $19.95 for same day Delivery. I then receive an email at the end of said day saying I "no longer qualify for same day delivery". I emailed back immediately saying to cancel my order and refund the money as the flowers needed to go THAT DAY. I then called them to be told that they could not refund my money but a manager would call me in 24 hours to issue refund. The next night the flowers were delivered any way, still no word from the manager. And worst of all they were not even close to what I ordered, it was a bunch of daisys that you would pick from your neighbours back yard! I sent a photo in of what I ordered and what I received even after I cancelled the other that I paid for same day delivery on - to be told the fine print says that the flowers "may not be exactly the same" and I am not entitled to any money back! So not only did they charge me for same day delivery and not deliver on the same day, they also think it's okay to advertise a certain standard of flower and deliver a disgraceful bunch! I understand flowers may vary to what is advertised but this is just a joke! $75 dollars for this, it's disgusting! Even worse, they were found guilty and fined for the very same thing by the department of fair trading just last year! Look on the fair trading website for yourself to see! I've also just noticed that they charged me an additional $2 from what the invoice says just for fun it seems!
First order they did not supply for date required so I cancelled order and I had a credit left. Thought I would treat myself and ordered a $150 arrangement to use up the credit and this is what I have received. Not only did I order for a different day, but they arrived upside down, flowers broken, very old and poor quality flowers - will never use this company again.
I placed an order and was pleased with the prompt service and the recipient was very happy with the flowers. It was only when I got my credit card statement that I discovered that if you order from outside Australia the prices quoted are uplifted by over 25% as they bill you in US$. I l now see this is covered in the small print but there's no doubt most customers will be conned like I was!
Flowers were lovely, but 4 days late!
Fortunately not for a funeral but very poor customer service.
Absolute scammers. Flowers ordered arrived 7 days late,(after paying extra for same day delivery) dead and soggy package. After numerous complaints they offered a discount on next order. As if I'd ever use them again. Found a site "Bloomex sucks" - wish I'd found it before, seems to be usual practice for bloomex, substandard flowers, late or no delivery, substitute for cheaper selection etc etc. Be warned they have a terrible track record. Order from a more reputable source..
Chose flowers (I thought) suitable as a sympathy gesture for my best friend (on the passing of her mum). Delivered but so very disappointed when my friend sent me a picture of what she'd received vs what I thought I'd ordered. Even upgraded at additional cost to ensure a larger display. Started an email trail with Bloomex (*******@bloomex.com.au) expressing dismay - after several email interactions, no resolution - these were the final words 'These flowers are budding, and once they bloom the bouquet will look as full as on the advertised photo. We can assure the florist did follow the recipe of the bouquet, the correct size as well as the right amount of stems were sent. The case here is the budding flowers, the bouquet may seem smaller because of them, as previously stated, it will look much bigger once the flowers fully bloom'. Really, look at the website photo vs the delivered bunch and judge for yourself! The posy was not even nicely put together with a couple of ragged green branches poking out the sides... I am still aghast at sending this to my best friend.
NEVER…. EVER order through Bloomex
I tried to order through a local florist online only to be directed to this site, thinking they use these guys to deliver i proceeded with my purchase for next day delivery.
3 days later and still no flowers.
Demanding a refund atm but no supervisor has rang back and tbh I don't think they will
Purchased a bunch of flowers, incorrect flowers sent (see first picture) of much lesser quality. When a complaint was put forth recieved an email from "customer support" saying that a replacement would be sent (second picture). Over a month later and am yet to reveive what was promised.
Flowers were ordered for a special birthday surprise it was disappointingly delivered a day later and in an appalling condition
Not what was ordered and definitely not what was advertised.
No customer service at all. They refuse to answer calls
Paid $85.00 for a bouquet of red roses and received old, mixed bag of 11 roses that looks like it was purchased from Aldi.
Wrapped in torn plastic with a rubber band.
The flowers are so badly presented that it doesn't stand upright but constantly falls over.
Absolutely disgusting company ripping off Australian customers.
No card attached as requested instead given a torn piece of paper with a message - see photos
Terrible business. Do not trust at all. There is so much negative reviews on this company I wish I had of looked before hand instead of trusting Bloomex. Do not buy off unless you wish to pay for disappointment
Total scam. Ordered on Saturday. Website says it couldn't be delivered the same day - that's fine, I ordered it for 2 days later (Monday). It still hasn't been delivered yet (Wednesday)! Online chat staff didn't even look at my order details and then called me "Belinda" and offered a $25 "credit" instead of the $59 refund requested. Refused to get a manager, no way to escalate complaint.
DONT BE FOOLED BY THEIR APPRENTLY GREAT SALES & SAVINGS - THEY CAN OFFER THAT BECAUSE YOU DONT GET YOUR FLOWERS, DAY AFTER MOTHERS DAY STILL NO FLOWERS, THEY DONT WANT TO REFUND & THEY DO NOT CARE - DISGUSTING COMPANY - NO SERVICE, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SO POOR THEY ARE SO SCRIPTED AND HANG UP ON YOU, IF YOU ASK TO SPEAK WITH A MANGER THEY PLACE YOU ON HOLD & YOU JUST GO ROUND A LOOP. LEAVE MESSAGES NOBODY RETURNS YOUR CALL. ORDERED FLOWERS TO BE DELIVERED ON THE 7/5/2022 I CALLED 9.30AM 8/5/22 TO INQUIRE WERE ARE THEY AS THEY WERE NOT DELIVERED YESTERDAY I WAS ADVISED WILL BE DELIVERED TODAY - GOOD ON YOU BLOOMEX 3.32PM SUNDAY AFTERNOON, MOTHERS DAY IS OVER YOU HAVE DESTROYED MY MUM MOTHERS DAY & MINE AS I HAVE CALLED 5 TIMES CHASING THEM TO BE TOLD THEY WILL BE DELIVERED BY 9PM AND NEVER ARRIVED - RUN AWAY FROM BLOOMEX DO NOT USE THEM EVER - USE EDIBLE BLOOMS THEY ARE SO RELIABLE AND DELVER ON TIME EVERYTIME. I WAS HOPING TO HAVE A LONG CUSTOMER RELATION WITH BLOOMEX - ONCE BITTEN TWICE SHY - THIS HAS BEEN A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVERYBODY RUN AWAY DO NOT USE BLOOMEX UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY & TIME TO THROW AWAY -
Ordered flowers to be delivered Saturday by 4pm and never turned up very disappointed will never use again, BEWARE
Answer: Line is so disgusting you can't hear them and they repeat the same "I understand how you feel" Well no they don't because it's not their loved one that didn't get the flowers delivered when requested. And stop blaming COVID 19, Sydney has been case free for some time now.
Answer: I have used flowersacrossmelbourne to send flowers to my mother on her birthday. Absolutely never had a problem. I wish Brisbane had a company like them. Bloomex is a rip-off merchant.
Answer: Because they promised delivery on a specific day - but failed miserably when the flowers were delivered TWO DAYS LATER & left outside the property overnight without informing the recipient that they were there.
