On our first delivery we were missing two little parts. I would have to check with my installer to see what they were.
The service was outstanding! The blinds were EXACTLY the dimensions I requested and installation was as easy as store bought generics except these were custom blinds. The web site is a bit clunky and not the easiest to navigate but I would recommend Blindster to every other custom blind company because the qaulity and price are second to none.
I have ordered 9 blinds over the last year. All of the blinds were made of high quality. Instructions were included with the blinds and were easy to install. Shipping was fast once the blinds were made. Over all 5 Star's for Blindster.
I ordered from a sample but turns out the sample was mislabeled and the shade sent did not match the sample I ordered from. Customer service was very helpful, helped identify the correct type and color of the sample and remade the shade in the desired color/type. This is the second shade I have ordered and will def order again in the future.
We have been very happy with our experience with Blindster, from the ordering process to an error that was corrected by the company. One of the blinds was cut to the wrong dimensions, and when two different blinds were sent for side-by-side windows, the company replaced the incorrect blind and the mismatched blind at no cost to us. They were very easy to reach by phone, responded quickly, and sent the new blinds right away. The blinds were a bit challenging to install (I suspect that is true of all blinds though), and we have been very pleased with the quality and the appearance.
They're cut to fit, and they work, so I gave them two stars. Otherwise, these don't come close to comparing to Levolors I have in another room. Strings holding the slats aren't much thicker than sewing thread, the color wasn't near as dark as expected, based on the web image. I understand all monitors render color differently, but I ordered a dark brown, and these are medium brown at best. They pretty seriously undercut the width, too. Left about 3/4" gap left and right. I'm not going to send them back, but I'm far less than thrilled. They call them premium wood blinds. Premium is a stretch.
Ordering from the site was easy and straightforward
Product was easy to install and is what we expected. Only concern is that it did not arrive when expected. After calling we did get it a few days later, but had no notice that it had shipped.
I'd been looking for a rental home to compare prices and ended up buying for my own home needs. Great website, walks you though measuring and decisions for ordering. Start to finish was a great experience and arrived exactly as promised with updates sent to my e-mail to let me know the status. Will recommend to anyone needing blinds, without reservation.
Too long, not wide enough, brackets are not big enough and fabric is fraying.

These are beautiful blinds. So thankful for the call I received from blindster representative after I had ordered on line. I had ordered all wrong. I almost think the average person with no blind making experience should order by phone. Was not that easy to understand process of ordering on line.
Blinds were better than expected. Fit is perfect and looks great on the windows. Will definitely recommend to a friend and will be back for more when the need arises.
First of all they sent us the wrong size valance, the wrong one had magnets which i liked so much better instead of the little plastic clips that are so horrible, not great quality,,, but they would not send,, only if we paid extra. Which i did not know was a option... they put us thru taking pictures and sending a couple of times to make sure i did have the magnets and that it was to short...
Sliding glass door verticals i broke two of the verticals where you slide it on the hooks, they break so easy[not good quality [ which i have to send for duplicates. Not a satified customer!

The magnets on the valances is only available with the Premium Fauxwood Blinds. I do see that you got the wrong valance with your order and will be happy to send you valances with magnets (at no charge) to make up for the error.

We had a huge order for an entire house that we renovated. They were all perfect. Very quick delivery. Will definitely use Blindster again.

I order 3 blinds. They were very affordable. They arrived quickly and were exactly what I ordered. I would definitely buy more from this company.
Was nervous to see how sturdy the one blind would be, because it was 57" across, but it is perfect. Very happy with the quality and price. I ordered more blinds for another room again yesterday.

I'm sorry you had a problem with your order!
I want to assure you that the strings are more than sufficient for operating these shades and any problems would be covered by our Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects. I don't know how old your Levolor blinds are but all factories use thinner strings that they did in the past because technology has developed stronger materials.
All factories in the United States will make a width deduction on all blinds/shades ordered as inside mount. They expect you to order using the window opening width (smallest of the measurements at the top, middle & bottom) of the blinds. If the factory made a mistake on the width then we will get them to remake it correctly at no charge. If you need the blind made to a wider width, we can remake it under our Fit or Free Policy.
