The blinds are nice and I'm satisfied. I had a little trouble ordering but it was partly my fault since I changed my mind on what kind of blinds to order after I had ordered samples for a different kind. I wish they had sent me more pulls for the cordless blinds since it's hard to get them even when they're moved up and down.

Ordered custom plantation blinds via Blindster vs. one of the traditional companies as it was half to one third of the price this way. Was quite a bit nervous about making accurate measurements for the blinds. James followed up to make sure we had measured correctly (we had not). When the blinds came, I was again nervous about the self install process. We were pleasantly surprised with the ease of install as well as the final look.
The only downfall was the additional trim on the exterior of the box. If I understood the trim a bit more clear, I would have selected the "outside" option vs. the inside, because although we were hanging them inside, it came with an extra layer of trim which is unnecessary in my opinion for an interior hang. I thought it may not look good, but you can't really tell unless you examine them closely. Overall, we really like the look and quality. It adds a high end custom look without the price tag. And always great customer service.
Everything about my experience with Blindster has been totally awesome. From customer service, pricing, shipping and quality of blinds. I would highly recommend Blindster to anyone wanting blinds.

Easy to follow instructions when ordering. Shipping was as expected. I ordered one vertical and one horizontal. Order came shipped together and on time. However, the mounting hardware for the vertical was not included in the shipment. I sent a email to customer service and the mounting hardware was on it's way with no questions asked. Once I had the hardware the installation was a breeze. Will be ordering for another room soon.
Looked at local stores before trying Blindster. Worked out very well. Measured and placed the order. Blinds and shades arrived very quickly. Install was easy. Saved a bunch of money this way and very happy with the results. We'd do it again.

I have ordered the TDBU cellular shades in 2 different colors. I really love the antique linen and wish I had chosen that color for both rooms. However, I love the lighter color also. The only negative I have is the shipping. Both orders came with one of the packages damaged. One of the shades had a bracket stuck inside the end of the shade. I was able to salvage both shipments and the shades were not damaged. Wish Fedex and SurePost were more careful with packages.
Love the blinds but we measured correctly and the blinds were a couple inches short.
The up front process was great - the order wasn't placed until we checkout samples & a credit was promptly issued when our blinds went on sale but the shipping date slipped twice!
