First of all, the blinds are great... and we got the budget wood blinds. They do not seem "budget" at all. Secondly, we accidentally sent in the wrong measurements which we didn't realize until after our order arrived. Blindster... FREE OF ANY CHARGES replaced our order with the right sized (even though it was OUR mistake, not theirs). They even let us keep the wrong sized blinds and asked that they be donated (I put them on Craigslist as "FREE" and they were snatched up within a day). We are very happy with the entire experience. The roman shades I received were excellent. I had bought a set of shades from a big box hardware store prior, and these were much nicer and much easier to install.
I ordered one set of blinds to see how they were. I loved them so much (quality and cost), that I have since bought 5 more sets and will probably be purchasing a few more! The quality, the price, and the customer service are all EXCELLENT! Also, I received them very quickly.
We love the blinds. We ordered the room darkening blinds and they totally block out the light. Would be great for people that need to sleep during the day. The fit was perfect. We decided we wanted to have additional clips on the blinds for raising/lowering and also the end cap was cracked on one of the blinds. When we called, they immediately sent us a new end cap and additional clips, Will order from Blindster again.
They sent the wrong shutters so the first call was to inform them that they were wrong and they said to send them back and was told it would take 2-3 weeks to remake them. The next phone call I received was that they would discont them $200.00 if I kept them. So it was a satisfactory settlement.
This my 4th time dealing with Blindster.com. They are a excellent company to deal with. All of the orders that I have placed have been correct. I had a roller shade that I was having a problem with and they replaced it with no questions asked. I will continue to order from them when needed.

Ordered three more cellular shades for the dining room, each window a different width by fractions of an inch for some reason, and they arrived in less than two weeks and each fits exactly as expected. Looks great in that room now. I have about six more windows that need updating from blinds to shades and I will order each of them from Blindster.com. Very satisfied.
They sent me a second batch of blinds to correct the first batch, which were not up and down blinds (supposedly my fault). The new ones they shipped had problems like cracked wood and broken strings. Also, for the money I paid, I think I would have been happier going to Walmart or Home Depot.
The fit & finish were perfect & the ordering instructions made it so easy to order them correctly. Ordering window treatments can be very complicated but this was made to be soooo easy. Installing them with the provided instructions was very very easy also. I can't begin to say how pleased I am with the whole product & process.
I was a bit nervous ordering blinds on line, but Blindster.com explained how to measure to get the perfect fitting blinds. My old blinds were 20 years old and were damaged by the sun. Plus I had purchased them from Lowes and I didn't know how to take off the extra 5-6 slats on the bottom. (They were too long) The blinds I ordered fit perfectly, hang perfectly and look amazing! I will be ordering more to replace my old blinds throughout the house.
Searched all the window covering sites, priced all of them and found Blindster to be the least expensive. Was very pleased that the quality was very good for the low price. Will shop here again.

Great! The shades went in and fit perfectly. It's so much more easier and cost-efficient to do shades in your own home rather than paying way too much money as I have in the past. Wished I would have known about Blindster years ago.
Order was easy to place. Received the order quickly and installed with ease.
I purchased wood faux blinds 2 years ago and they arrived quickly and were great quality for the price. I decided to order again this time for my living and dining room. My order was processed quickly and arrived within 5 days of ordering. I was very pleased at the quick production and shipping times. When they arrived I noticed right away that one of them was made way too short in width. There was an obvious error in production and they did not fit. I called customer service right away and they apologized for the error. They asked me to send a picture with the incorrect measurements and they would send me a new set right away. I was very pleased that customer service was willing to correct the problem and send me a new set of blinds right away.
The problem came with the new set being sent. My re order request sat for another week before I finally got a response that someone had received it. Then another week went by with no response or shipping confirmations sent to my email. I finally called customer service back to see why I had not received any confirmations via email (like I had in my oringial order) and they were having trouble locating my re order. I was on hold for over 20 minutes when finally the customer service rep came back to the phone.
She stated that she has located my reorder. When I asked why 2 weeks had gone by with no new shipment or confirmations, she stated that they were behind in production for this particular blind material. I can understand that these things happen, but what I don't understand is why my order sat for 2 weeks and no one contacted me about it to let me know what was going on.
Someone obviously dropped the ball and there was no communication about my re order. Although they were quick to try and make it better and get me my correct product, it took way longer than expected. There was a lack of communication to the customer which was unacceptable. They stated that their policy is not to send email order and shipping confirmations with re orders, which is ridiculous. I had no idea that my order was being shipped or when I should be expecting it. I am very unhappy with the excuse and half apology that I received from customer service. Someone did not do their job and although having a positive experience before, I may not recommend them for future business. They could have made this right and offered me something for their error, but they did not. That's unfortunate because they lost a loyal customer and referrals!
I'm sorry you did not have a good customer service experience. At Blindster it is very important to us that we provide the best customer service on the internet. Obviously, we did not do that in your case.
I have addressed this situation with everyone involved in your order. I appreciate that you let us know so that I could take corrective action. I certainly hope you will give us another chance but completely understand your dissatisfaction.
