I was intrigued when Ebay "promoted" this "new" site on Oct 10th, 2010. When I logged into Ebay that day, there was a page promoting bidsauce.com. I, like most followed the link, and like others, registered and found out that the fee was $149, I was hesitant, but since Ebay had shown this on their site, what could go wrong is how I saw it. Well, right off the bat, I "won" 3 auctions. A $50 gift card to Amazon, a $50 Target gift card, plus a 25 bid pack. This was on my first day of registration, Oct 10th, 2010. This is January 4,2011, and to date; I have NOT received the Gift Cards. After numerous calls to customer service, and several on-line chat sessions, I have gotten the run-around during all conversations, that is until yesterday. Yesterday I had called asking for an address to mail a letter to the company, and was told by customer service they couldn't give that out, but the address was available on-line as a matter of "public disclosure". I searched, and didn't find any address. I went on-line next and used the 'chat" feature, and wow-got an address from a representative. This is the address that I received. I was told this is the Corp. address. For bid sauce:
1733 W ******* S, Riverton, UT *******

I also have called and registered a complaint with Ebay. I called the "buyers protection" extension and verified that my call would be recorded, and that my information would also be forwarded to the Marketing Department and elsewhere as needed within the company. I shared that in my opinion/perception with Ebay first showing this on their site, it seemed as if Ebay was "sponsoring" bidsauce.com. I told the Ebay representative all that has transpired, that I was upset that Ebay promoted this, and that someone apparently did not research this company enough and a lot of people were getting scammed and that this is now a bad reelection on Ebay. Not sure how much good that will do, but at least it's a regristered complaint. My next step is to read an Ehow article on how to file a "class action" suit. Now that I have an address, I'm also sending a letter demanding product delivery within a 10 day time frame or other action is being pursued. I will of course be being sending the letter signature required.

Order #*******, here is the order # of the $50.00 gift card I won and it was for a BEST BUY gift card which in total, I paid w/ shipping is $8.00 with their outrageous shipping. I purchased their item on 12/21/2010 and it has now been 12/28/2010, I cost me like: $29.95 w/100 bids. I used them all up and just got this gift card. I have a feeling they do have robots bidding like 100 times on 1 item. I do recommend this, though. File a charge back with your credit card company/bank account, the bank will not charge you for the fee to file. I'd file it get your $29.99 back and the price you paid for it. At least when I signed up for Quibids.com, 100 bids for $48.00, when I won and paid for it, they sent it and got here within 3-5 business days. At least their customer service is better. I will never ever sign up for any penny auction because it is too good to be true, at the end you will probably pay retail price or maybe even a little more. As a consumer, I want everyone to get your money back, because who wants to give money away even if its just like $40.00!

I don't feel they are honest at all. And I still haven't recieved my article and it's been over 5 weeks. They keep trying to give you more bids. I feel they have their own people driving the bids. Even though in the end it shows you won by a couple dollars and or cents. But when you bid it is costing you 1 dollar for each bid. So it is very disceiving

I have only had the HONOR of bidding at Bidsauce for 2 months. I was never charged for anything and I won a bunch of gift cards. I have been waiting to get a charge or even the cards for 2 months, but nothing. A few days ago I received a letter from them and they said they made a mistake and had some problem with their billing. I was told in this email that I would have to pay $220.00 all at once and they would send my $150.00 worth of cards and for my trouble I would get 150 bids. I had the money when I was bidding and knew what I was spending, but now they want the whole thing in one lump sum, which I refuse to do. They lost my faith and business when I didn't get any information on my bids and my money for 2 months. I am not happy that they would give me BIDS... Big Deal! I can have fun SPENDING the AIR and getting nothing! I really dislike these people and would NEVER do business with them again. I am just warning those who may have spent money on bids with them and won NOTHING. Don't expect ANYTHING!

Your comment: Your comment: This is a terrible company. First this whole penny bid thing is a racket, it cost $1 to even place a bid, so your money goes really fast. I didn't win for a long time, but when I did Bidsauce charged me an inflated amount for shipping and handling of a gift card - $7.29. Then I NEVER received the card. Numerous attempts to reach the company and finally reached them by phone. Excuses ranged from "vendor issues" to "back log". Whatever, my credit card was charged immediately and I never received anything after 3 months. A gift card does not take 3 months. Be warned that they will tell you they have a "no refund policy", so they will do nothing to help you. They promise you will get it, but how long is acceptable to wait? This company needs a better customer service policy other than oh well, you won, we didn't guarantee a prize. So I guess if you get it after a year, they met their obligations. Very frustrating, time consuming rip off so far for me. Filed a dispute with my credit card company, everyone should.

Run.run.run
December 21, 2010

Run.run.run. BE SMARTER THAN I WAS. I won 2 auctions in November and have yet to receive the merchandise. I called several times and was told that the merchandise was on back order. When I questioned them about why they are auctioning item that are not hand, I never got a answer to that. The customer service is a joke. I am thinking about reporting them to the better business bureau. When I asked for the manager, I was refused the name and the representative also refused to give his name. Run... run... run.

I have never went on-line to review a site. I am doing this just to make sure that not one more person gets screwed. I won 3 Gift Cards and a Web Cam and its been almost 7 weeks and have not recieved anything. I called a month ago and they said they were backed up and that it would be christmas. I said why don't you let people know that it takes 2-3 months to get their items? They also charged me the 149.00 and I never knew I was being charged like a few others have indicated. They said they would refund 40 bucks. That was 2 months ago and I have never recieved it.

Stay away from this site, total rip off. Tomorrow, I will be calling the California Attorney General and logging a formal complaint.

Let me join so many others in saying this is a SCAM.
I finally won a bid for $75 Walmart gift card plus a $50
Red Lobster gift card. I waited patiently for three weeks
To receive my two gift cards. Then I tried bidsaauce's
Customer service which took another week to reach. I am
Still waiting and it has been two months and still no
Gift cards.
THIS WEBSITE IS A SCAM AND SHOUD BE INVESTIGATED. I want
All of my money back! I have been warning anyone who
Will listen: DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME ON THIS
WEBSITE OR ANY SO CALLED "PENNY AUCTIONS"

I usually don't write reviews but feel i owe it to everyone else not to allow themselves to be SCAMMED like i did. They take a fee first off and you can't get it back and then i bid on a card since they already took my fee and i had 100 bids to use up and won the card (in aug 2010) paid 50 for the card and i still have yet to get the card and when i call or try and contact anyone they basically say" to bad"... DO NOT GO TO THIS SITE IT"S A SCAM I"VE BEEN SCAMMED ON THIS SITE PERSONALLY AND WOULD HATE FOR OTHERS TO GO THROUGH THIS!

SCAM...
December 4, 2010

SCAM... FRAUD... STEALERS... LOW LIFE's... LIARS.

They steal your money, and you never get the items you win. They give you excuses of not having the source of supply, and they will put you on their list for a faster delivery when the item comes in.

Go to your credit card company and tell them you paid for items never received. Even the amount of your bids bought. Because you may buy bids, but you never received them if intent is for you to not receive won items.

Report them to the BBB as I did, and spread the word to family, friends, on facebook, twitter, myspace etc.

Worst Penny Auction I've played on. Timer is always freezing. I keep having to re-log in. Once I start back trying to bid it will freeze again. Then just when I feel it's close to really increase my bidding the site will freeze and when I the timer starts back the item comes up SOLD. This happened twice Saturday night and once Sunday morning. My left over bids are wasted as far as I'm concerned.

Paul. H here
November 19, 2010

Paul. H here. My look into Bidsauce ended the same as Terry K and others. The ad says you can try it for free (50 Bids), yet the next after quitting without liking it, I was charged $149.95. Is this ad free? I called to cancel and they told me I could not execute the free bids without being charged. No indication that there would be a charge at all when I was online, only a charge placed on my credit card after I left. They charged that I had not read the terms and conditions to which no reference was made on the signup page. This site is obviously a fraudulant site and should be closed down. From the previous reviews many persons have been cheated by this site.

I hope you read this before you even open the website. If you do open it and type in your credit card information looking for information only and with no intention of joining, then you will be charged $149.95 for what I still don't know. There is no cancelling. You will get only a form message in return for your attempt to cancel. Stay away from this site unless you like giving your money to scammers.

This site is garbage
November 13, 2010

This site is garbage. For one thing, there's no option in the "my account" page of their site for closing your account. I found that when bidding, when it gets close, the time limit keeps extending, milking every last $. 75 it can out of bidders. In my case, even though the bidding was still ongoing & the limit hadn't been met, the bidding link simply disappeared. Bidsauce is crap.

I spent $389.84in bids, the. 94 "auction price", $6.95 shipping for 1 $100 gift card. Who do you think won? Not me. I've been seeing lots of posts about slow / no shipping. Be cautious with bidsauce.

Bidsauce is the most horrible site on the web. They have owed me money for the last 6 weeks and continually lie about the fact that they need to send me an email to receive the refund. I receive every one of their advertisements but can't seen to get their email. If you call them, they can't even answer their phone. This is a total scam!
