Around Aug 20th I purchased an Earbud for $35 (+taxes) from Best Buy, it was a dead device. The next day I got back for a refund which they didn't accept, ONLY exchange (I was not notified during purchase). I got a 99-Dollar (Air 1 Zen) instead. From one yard away from my PC, it keeps disconnecting/reconnecting every minute or so for a couple of seconds. When the volume is high it gets worst. Instead of 30 hours of playtime (says the box), it ONLY lasts for about 4 hours. The employees don't care much for low-price buyers (commission). THIS WILL BE MY LAST VISIT TO BEST BUY CANADA.

Fridge not delivered after 2 months

Do not use Best Buy to purchase anything you actually need. We have waited over 2 months for a fridge and they still haven't given us delivery notice. They LOST the first fridge we ordered and we have now waited 5 weeks for the second one. We ordered on the 21st of June. I have not been able to purchase food properly as the fridge we have is old and leaking/broken seals. We are incredibly dissatisfied with their services.

I bought a phone and in the box there was no charger, no instructions book, and there was only the sim removal thingy and the phone! Now i cant charge it! I dont recommend going here to buy a phone! Go to Wal-Mart!

If I could only give Best Buy Canada 0 stars. I really, really tried to buy a 65" TV today. At the Langley BC store the sales guy said the online deals were only available online, not in the store and even if I ordered online the TV would not be delivered to the store. So... I tried to order online and pick it up myself at the local Langley BC warehouse... Nope, can't do that I was told, even though I was parked at the customer pickup location at the warehouse. It would need to be delivered to my home 10 days from now at an extra cost of $60. I spent at least 2 hours, 3 chat sessions and 2 phone calls to Best Buy only not to succeed getting a TV from Best Buy Langley BC today. I then went to Visions in Langley, they matched the online deal, gave me two years warranty (vs. One year at BB) and helped load the TV into my SUV and home we went with our new TV. Best Buy you really suck!

I was very surprised to learn that the Samsung Buds Live that I bought through Best Buy Canada online are not for the Canadian market when I went to register them in my Samsung Account. They are "international" and thus can't be registered in Canada for warranty coverage. The seller's response was that they did not say one way or the other whether Buds Live is for Canada or not and thus would not refund the purchase or provide any service. The Buds Live work fine, but I can't register them in my account. So I won't be doing any more purchases from the Best Buy Canada marketplace for Samsung products because they may or may not be for the Canadian Market. Buyers beware

DO NOT purchase refurb laptops from Tech Outlet, affiliated with Best Buy. Bought a Dell G7, thought it was a decent machine and hoped that the Best Buy tie meant it was legit - 7 months later the motherboard fried and the cost to replace was going to be over $1000.

Ordered advertised laptop and paid online (order number *******144), but after 7 days Bestbuy refused to ship it and cancelled the order without my consent. I can smell a big, big ongoing scam. Scam goes like this: customer orders laptop or similar. Usually, the price is good (in order to lure more customers into the scam). They immediately charge the credit card of 1000s of customers with no intention to ever ship the (fake, non-existent) product. By the time they cancel the order (usually in about 7 days), new victims order the same (non-existent) products and their credit cards get charged. This is a never-ending cycle of scamming customers of their hard-earned money.

Wrong item in box

Watch out, I ordered the 622GW dashcam online and paid $499.99 plus GST. What arrived was the 422GW Dashcam. I only realised after I had installed it that I noticed on the side of the dashcam it read 422GW.

I complained to Bestbuy on line, posted a review and they deleted it. So I am writing it again. If they delete it again I will post it again.

I have to now go to a store, return this, ask them to reorder me another one at my time and expense.

Bestbuy should arrange for collection and ship me another camera and make sure its the correct one in the box.

I ordered a Sonos speaker online (which was promptly shipped the following morning) however found out the next day that they went on sale! I called BestBuy CA and was assisted by Priscilla from customer service who handled my issue with great care and communication. They were more than happy to match the price, especially because it was only a day after I had purchased it. Great customer service by BestBuy CA and will definitely be coming back to order online!

I placed an online order with Best Buy Canada Online for outdoor furniture. I started having problems immediately. The order dates didn't work out and we didn't get it for the long weekend as promised. When we received any of the products, it was in 2 of 3 boxes... the 3rd box was yet to come. Then we discovered that what was in the 2 boxes was the wrong furniture. During all of this, Best Buy Canada had people "to help". The only thing they did was write the email for me that I told them to write. I asked to escalate it but that didn't help. Obviously once you have placed an order you're on your own. You have to deal with the 3rd party seller and hope they are helpful. I will NEVER order through Best Buy Online again.

If I could, I would give negative stars. I bought a $1500 JBL sound system in January and less than 6 months later the sound started cutting out. I called geek squad, they said I could mail it out or bring it to the geeksquad at best buy. So I brought it in. At the store I was informed I had to mail it in (even though on the phone I was told in store geek squad would help) so ok mail it. I was told to UP TO A WEEK and I would hear back, alright, fine. Well, yesterday marked a week, and i have heard nothing. I checked my tracking code on the online geek squad page and it comes up as an error. When I call bestbuy, they have no answer. They say call JBL. When I call JBL, they say they have nothing to do with it. So now, NO ONE knows where my $1500 sound system is and JBL has launched an investigation. BEST BUY IS AWFUL

Lost package

The $#*!s over at Best Buy shipped my order of "Death on the Nile" via lettermail (AKA: mail without tracking number), and it still hasn't shown up after 21 days. And I have no way to track where it is because it was shipped via lettermail! They should force Best Buy employees to live in group homes for disabled learning because only $#*!s ship packages without tracking numbers!

Over about a month I attempted twice to order a desktop computer. Both were cancelled because their system said my billing information was incorrect, which is was not. After every email saying the order couldn't be processed I called the service line to confirm my info.
After the two cancellations I called customer service yet again, where they informed me that they could order it on my behalf since it's the system's fault and not mine. Sounds great, right?
1 week later I call AGAIN to only hear that not only had my order NOT been put through but the computer is now out of stock. Then had to be told that I'd have attempt to order it again in 2 weeks.
This has been such a aggravating, stressful and seemingly pointless month. Never again will I order from Best Buy and I highly encourage you to not waste your time with them like they have with mine.

Searched for a product online and went to the link on Friday and made the purchase. Monday morning I receive a call saying product is not in stock. I do a search online to find another seller and find it in stock at BestBuy for hundreds of dollars more, appearing as though they do not wish to honor the sale price. I ring customer service and am told it was being sold by a 3rd party vendor, something I had no idea BestBuy did. I was trying to purchase from a large store for warranty purposes, not a small anonymous seller which is why I didn't go to Amazon or Ebay. The Customer service woman was rude, kept speaking over me and repeating that the small print at the bottom of the page clarified that it was a3rd party and that they have no control over them despite them selling on BestBuy's website. Round and round we went and I finally asked for a supervisor. Instead, she kept telling me the same thing over and over until I had to raise my voice and be rude and demand a supervisor. Long wait later, the supervisor comes on, barks at me and explains again that it's listed in the small print. I state that it appears that they are selling this item and as such it would make no sense for me to search in small print to discover this is a 3rd party seller. Again, no responsibility taken and her only solution was to say that they could email the seller to see if they would honor the sale. Nothing butt rudeness and passing the buck.

Cherry on the cake is that while I was on hold, I searched again and found the same product at Visions Electronics for $110 cheaper before taxes. I phoned them to ensure I was buying from them and not a 3rd party. I was asked (very politely) if I would hold for a minute, and I did. Then the kind woman came back, explained that I was purchasing directly from them and that they purchase directly from the Canadian distributor for the product. When I explained why I was asking, she thought it was bizarre that BestBuy was doing what they were doing.

BestBuy will never see another dollar from me despite me once being a loyal customer. NEVER!

Brought back an Nvidia Shield Pro for a return and the girl printed out my return receipt sandwiched both together tight and stapled them together in a 1 inch thick paper sandwich. I got home, found a stapler remover and read both receipts. The girl didn't refund me my 2 year geek squad warranty and so didn't refund me enough on the taxes.
Of course you can't call the store directly to tell them, because everything goes to an ineffective corporate call center which is beyond stupidity. I should be able to call the store directly. The Best Buy call center tells me I have to contact Geek Squad and they give me the number. I call Geek Squad and they tell me I have to go back to the Chatham store (you know, gas being the price it is) to get my money back again. When the bill says $327.68 and you give me back $293.79 and then staple the receipts in a sandwich so I can't see or open them, it tends to make a person a tad irritable after 3 trips each way at 40 minutes round trip. The last trip she didn't offer a, sorry about that, kiss my $#*!... nothing.
Chatham, Ontario"s Best Buy has zero customer service or training and all the workers hang around each other in groups as big as 3. How do I know this? I walked by 3 of them playing on their phones and talking to each other and not 1 of them even noticed me or offered to help. Makes me regret the $10,000 LG TV I bought. Well they can keep hanging around each other in as big of groups as they want because I'm done buying anything from Best Buy... Done.

I have ordered a new kobo sage ereader but i have received a used one. Its clear from the packaging and the product which looked and felt like used one. The seal has been opened before they sent me. The Ereader made squeaky noise near the buttons, the screen protector is old and has bubbles in it. Frustrating experience! Never buying from best buy specially online.

Amazon is the best. If you want to choose, always go with amazon. Best buy customer care people just make you run here and there. Not at all helpful. They dont even extended return policy even in this covid situation. Dont understand anyone problems

My personal feedback of the experience I have had with Best Buy/bestbuy.ca regarding opportunistic early sale changes based on volume of sale. Yesterday I tried to buy two ASUS flip Chromebooks. They were on sale for $199 ($210 off-A great deal!) I had two in my cart (As I needed to get my Children something for online learning) and as I was processing my payment they were bought from out of my cart at the same time. It stated that these Chromebooks were now out of stock but the website also stated that the sale was an extended Boxing Day sale and it would end in January 13,2022. Tonight I decided to check if by chance these were back in stock, and what a miracle…. They had them in stock! But to my surprise Best Buy had taken down the "Extended Boxing Day Sale" and they were now back at $410 Dollars. It does not make sense. If you have the product available, Best Buy should be honouring the sale that was originally there the day before. I spoke to a person in their online chat function and he was just as helpful. He actually told me to purchase the two Chromebooks at $410 each and if they went on sale in the next 30 days I was welcome to get a price adjustment. So logical. Anyway I would steer clear of Best Buy, this was a shady move on their part. I will not be ever shopping for anything from this company again.
