Wow - I'm at a loss for words. I just received a box of Shari's Berries and was shocked at how bad this product was. The packaging itself was adorable, but when I opened the box, it was full of condensation and the actual strawberries were soft and mushy under the chocolate - they tasted very tangy; a sign that they were about to turn bad! I love strawberry dipped strawberries, but have never had nasty ones like this! I don't want to be rude to the person who shipped them to me, but they honestly should get a refund since I had to throw the product out after trying to 3 berries only to find they were all the same way. Save your money and buy something else!

I was nervous about what my wife would receive after seeing the reviews here this morning. The shipping is extremely high, but I ordered from pro-flowers and not direct from company. The berries are not neatly dipped as pictured, they are completely covered in chocolate but they are red crisp and juicy berries inside, and all but one are so big they barely fit in slot in container. My wife and son both said they were very good, so other than the cost for shipping they are well worth it.

I ordered a dozen choc covered strawberries and 3 lady bug cake pops for my parents (out of town). My son was visiting them when they received the order. He was SHOCKED at what they delivered as he knows I would NEVER send anything like that to anyone. I hope I can upload pictures of what they received. The strawberries were tiny- so tiny that they were completely inside the chocolate, not dipped with pretty green stem and top of strawberry sticking out. They were cracked and chocolate breaking off- they looked like old Christmas candy you accidentally stored for a year.

This is the second bad (and final) experience I have had with Shari's Berries! The first time I chalked it up to a bad batch. The second batch (one year later) just as awful. The chocolate coatings are delicious--but then you bite into the berries (which are the whole point of these confections) and they are very mushy and acidic with green towards the top. The size of each treat is misleading because it turns out that it is very thick chocolate coating with puny berries inside. Back when this company was new I absolutely loved what I received (years ago) --back then the berries were ripe, huge, and tasted wonderful. Never again, sadly.

I used a promotion for a dozen berries for $29.98. At one point it asked if I wanted guaranteed shipping for $14.95. I didn't select that, after all, I'm already on the hook for $30... for 12 strawberries...$30... Anyway went through a few dozen more steps before arriving at the final screen. All I had to do was click the red "confirm" button. With my finger hovering over the button, I thought to glance down at the total. It wasn't there. Had to slide the screen to the right to find it (I wonder if that's intentional? Surely not!). Oh what a surprise! My total was now $58... for 12 strawberries...$58... anyway... I didn't confirm the order. I'm waiting with bated breath to see if Sharis has any more surprises for me! Surely they won't try to charge my card and force me into a credit card dispute. I can't wait to find out! I LOVE hidden charges! Wish everyone would include them! Like Christmas, a surprise in every transaction! Thank you Sharis!

I have ordered Shari's Berries several time over the years. I have no issues with the product or delivery. That being said: I recently placed a valentine's day order online. Since I went to their page the other day to place this last order, the pages I visit on my computer have been filled up with ads from them. The thing is, they already had me as a loyal customer. All they managed to due with this unsolicited advertising is lose me as a customer. There is enough unsolicited garbage for junk I will never use online as it is and it just pisses me off when they use my ordering of their product as a vehicle for more unsolicited garbage.

Bought one dozen of the most expensive multi-dipped strawberries. Put in "promo code" for 20% off. Checked out. Didn't apply my discount and charged $25 for shipping! All in all= Paid $70 for strawberries. They hide the final cost and it is very shady. Many of my friends were going to buy some also until they saw this garbage happen. You can do them yourself 1/8th the cost or even go to your local shopping center and get them for under $20. Save your money and run. Will never EVER order from this shady place again.

As first time customers, we had an order delivered today for my birthday(feb 11 2017), the chocolate coatings were broken, the pretzels were broken into pieces as well. We are having a refund issued by customer service because of how disappointed we were today. We will not order from this company again, plus, we had ordered for valentines day for my daughter, will see how her order arrives on tuesday, feb 14,2017. As first time customers, we now read the reviews on many sites, and this company had mostly bad reviews, Do not waste your money.

As a recap: my husband ordered Shari's berries as a Valentine's gift for me two weeks before valentines day. They didn't charge him right away and didnt ever send a confirmation email. It lead us to believe we weren't going to receive the berries, like it didn't go through. That's why he told me about it, because he figured he'd give me something else. A week after he placed that order, (while he was taking our cat to the vet) sharis berries went through. We live paycheck to paycheck. We balance bills, the store, his medical appointments, etc. Luckily, we had the money that week. That was on a Wednesday. Then that following Friday, pay day, I looked at our account and noticed we had more money than we should have. After further investigation, I noticed Shari's berries had completely disappeared from our transaction history. I was livid. We never received an email explaining anything. The berries ended up arriving on Monday the 13th. They were smaller than pictured on the website and the store bought berries my husband and I dipped in chocolate tasted better and were in better quality than Shari's berries. Today, Thursday the 16th (a day before my husband and my mother's birthday and two days before we need to pay our phone bill), we were charged by Shari's berries. I did not expect free berries. Of course I didn't. I guess I stupidly thought that they maybe read my review or put in the half off confirmation code that they forgot to put in before and decided to make it up to us. I was foolish to think that. They officially lost us as costumers and I'm making it a point to tell all my friends, family, co-workers, etc, about our bad experience.

Spent 35 minutes on the phone placing three orders to three separate addresses. They just couldn't grasp the concept. After the 35 minutes the call was disconnected before they took my credit card information. Tried to call back and there was no record of my order. That took an additional 20 minutes. Finally I gave up and resorted to placing three separate orders online. All went okay except the three separate credit charges that I was trying to avoid. So order was finally placed but guess what, I received an email that they all shipped. However only one got to its destination. Tried calling customer service again and boy is this difficult. They told me it was out for delivery, so I gave them the benefit of doubt even though it was 7:30pm. Called back at 10pm they said order was delivered at 11: am. I told them that was the first of three not the missing two. All have different order numbers and I specially asked about the order that was not delivered. After another 15 minutes on the phone trying to explain to customer service what the deal is they said they would ship a new order in three days since its late on Friday night and order could not be shipped on Saturday. It is extremely difficult when you have a company with customer service in another country and they barely speak the language they ship to. Not sure even one star is what they deserve. Can't wait to see what happens with the order. I can't believe what they charge for shipping as well. This better be some of the best dam chocolate covered strawberrys anyone has eaten. I will send another review once they arrive. As for this experiance consider this star a negative and I would never order from them again.

Placed an order for a dozen chocolate covered strawberries to send to my boyfriend who has been working out of town. I chose Valentine's Day delivery, and the cost was $4.99, my other option was February 13 for $9.99. Confirmed order. And when I got my receipt I was charged $14.99 for standard shipping then $4.99 for Valentine's Day shipping. $20 in shipping charges for a $20 box of strawberries! I immediately called to complain. The woman said that standard shipping is automatically charged to all of their packages, then it was $4.99 extra for Valentine's Day. I explained to the woman it didn't say that anywhere on their website nor did they show it on the page where I confirmed my order. It wasn't until they showed my receipt that it was on there. Total scam! She said he manager let her give me a refund, and refunded $10 of the shipping cost. Supposedly she refunded my card but I have yet to receive that confirmation or the funds, I'm sure they hacked the $#*! out of my card too. Time to order a new one I guess. I will NEVER order from the site again! NOR DO I RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!
