Major Disappointment

This is the third time I ordered from Shari's Berries, and I must admit the first two times I received a nice product. Last evening, we opened the box for Valentine's Day and some of the strawberries looked closer to large marbles or blueberries than gourmet strawberries. I reached out to the company and have received no reply. I am about to make comments on social media. I will not order from them again but will buy from my local supermarket. Terribly disappointed.

Don't order from here

I placedFeb 5th with plenty of time so I knew they would be in stock. The morning of Valentine's day I told my husband he would be be getting a delivery today. No such luck we waited and waited but nothing. 630 rolled around and business this time I was a bit frustrated to say the least. I called the company the man on the phone stated that my delivery was still set to be delivered on the 14th latest being 9pm. Wasn't happy about this but at least he would still get his gift. 9:20 pm rolled around and still nothing. I called back and got a very rude lady, she stated that my order was reschedule for tomorrow because they were out of stock of the item I ordered. How is it that at 6pm my order is in a truck but suddenly they are out and they will miraculously have my order status the house tomorrow at 8 am. I reminded the lady that I placed my order Feb 5th I find it odd that you told me at 6 it was on its way and 2 that I ordered it in plenty of time so why would it be out of stock. The ladyear told me she could refund me the shipping fee for my trouble I got a full refund on my whole order. Around 9:50 my order showed up the chocolate was discolored and old and the candy was very hard. I'm glad I got my money back I will Never order from here again and I'll be leting everyone I know not to order from here as well.

Big Mistake
February 15, 2017

Ordered them for Valentines Day last year and was impressed. I had problems with getting the order to go through this year but finally got it to go through. When it came the Berries were overripe and some had rotten spots. The box also was messy.

So my dear co-worker's birthday is coincidentally on Valentine's Day! I ordered some lovely looking chocolate dipped strawberries a week before to have them guaranteed for delivery during our work day on the 14th. I paced the floor looking for FedEx all day long and called 3 times to check on the order status and was continuously told the same thing: "The order is on the truck for delivery today." By 4:50pm I was livid as we were closing down the Veterinary Hospital I work at and my co-worker had no idea I had remembered her birthday. As we were turning off the the lights the FedEx truck pulled in and delivered her package. If that wasn't bad enough the berries were all askew and some smashed when she opened the box, hoping for a delightful end to the day. Sigh... I emailed these photos to Shari's Berries and was issued a refund. Honestly I would have preferred a fun, happy, early in the work day surprise for my co-worker. Will NEVER order from them again.

Buyer Beware!

Ordered 2 separate orders to be delivered on Feb13, paid additional charges to guarantee delivery! No delivery, No tracking number! Called customer service twice on the 13th and was told that Fed Ex had not updated their system, so they could not tell me anything, but would email me back with information. No email and no deliver on the 14th. I called 4 times the evening of the 14th and finally was given tracking number. Contacted Fed Express items not shipped but labels had been printed. Called customer service again and this time I demanded a refund for $103.92 for $ 50 of berries that were never delivered. Finally received my confirmation. For refund, will be sending this info to credit card company. This morning I receive email saying that my order has just left the building and will be delivered on the 16th! NO Thank You!

Never again

First, my order number is in the email below. Second when we received the order both boxes of strawberries were warm and on the verge of being a pile of mush. The packaging was smashed and the strawberries looked like they were tossed around a lot. I had to drain out all the strawberry juice out of the box before opening it so it wouldn't get everywhere. After paying $16 for you to ship two separate boxes for the same order I would expect better shipping and packaging.
Third, I placed one order for multiple items to be delivered to the same person at the same address on the same day. Common sense would be to include all the products in the same box. Not in this case. I was charged two separate shipping charges and received two separate packages at two different times of the day because they were shipped by two separate carriers. My wife's reaction, who was the intended recipient, was supposed to be excited and surprised to receive chocolate covered strawberries, but instead she was like "are these supposed to be strawberries, and why did we get two different boxes?"
The chocolate was tasteless and the strawberries were mushy. Talk about disappointing and embarrassing. Even with all the advertising I see and hear, it will be doubtful if I order or even recommend this company or its products to anyone.

I kept hearing about Shari's Berries on the radio and other places and thought okay i will try them out. 1st they did not honor my product code for double berries "thought what the hell- order them anyway". So i ordered 6 "Gourmet" berries for Valentines day.
They arrived and were so small, and looked like i could have made them from the local grocery chain. Def not worth the 20$ plus tax. I advise get some from the grocery store.

I ordered a Valentines gift on 2/13 for a loved one. I was ASSURED it would arrive in time for Valentine's day, which I doubted could happen! I should have gone with my gut and done something else. Shari's Berries failed to deliver! DO NOT patronize this company. Their service is HORRIBLE. I will NEVER use them again and will tell anyone who asks not to buy from Shari's Berries.

Terrible customer service

Made 1 order for 2 different delivery addresses. My wife's were delivered as contracted. The order for my mother has not shown up yet. Still shows out for delivery by UPS since 10am PDT. This is in a town of 32k, and 19 hours so far in transit "out for delivery". Called customer service and very obvious it's some non U.S. service taking calls. The female at the other end clearly does not have command of the English language and could be understood nor could she understand me. How can they possibly be of ANY customer service.
This is my first and LAST order with this shoddy company. I will definitely not recommended this to anyone and will call and complain to the radio station who carries this company as a advertiser.

I hate to complain, but I am very disappointed in Shari's Berries :(. I have always heard great things about them from friends and on radio ads but I do not think I will spend the money on them again. I am currently living 700 miles away from my husband and wanted to send him a sweet surprise for Valentines Day. This is even more special because he took me on our first date five years ago today. I decided on Shari's Berries based off of hear say and I should have checked for reviews first. Unfortunately, when my husband got home the chocolate was melted. To my surprise, I did not know that this company does not ship their product on dry ice or ice packs which I find absolutely terrible considering FDA regulations require for food (the strawberries in this case) to be temperature controlled when coming from a business such as yours. $14.99 standard delivery is quite ridiculous when the items aren't even guaranteed to be edible when delivered. I am not one to complain about small things such as this but today was special for us and I wanted to send him a nice surprise since I am living so far away. For now, I do not plan to order from Shari's Berries again and I will not recommend it to friends or family. If something in the company's policy changes in how the items are to be properly shipped, then a may consider a second chance.

Horrible

I ordered 6 chocolate covered strawberries for my girlfriend on Valentine's day. They didn't look anything like what's advertised on their website. They were rolling around in the package and they were soggy. They didn't taste very well. They also charged me $25 in shipping. This is a ripoff and i will never order again.

When my boyfriend called about the order they told him that their was nothing they could do until tomorrow. You need to make sure your customers recieve what they pay for or refund their money My special day was ruined

Shipping rip off

My husband says he was charged $30.00 for shipping. $30.00 for shipping?! No way will we order again! Strawberries were loose in the package rolling around & scattering nuts all over berries that shouldn't have nuts on them!

Ordered six berries and six dipped cheese cake for valentines delivery. Arrived on time, wife ate one and said it was good, bit into another, it was rotten, tried a third and it was rotten. Needless to say she stopped after the third. I'm never going to order again and will not recommend this to anyone.

Ordered for Valentine's Day. Berries DID NOT look anything like the ones one the website. Horrible. They were tiny, and it looked like they weren't given time to harden before they were put in the box. The chocolate was hanging off the berries, awful design work. One of the deliveries was on hold. When I called to inquire, I spoke to someone who worked at a call center - NOT Shari Berries' business office. She was unable to help contact UPS about my shipment. I was told I needed to do that. Horrible customer service! I was told they could resend a package on Thursday, but I would be charged for the order. After I complained, she said she could refund my money. I said yes and will NEVER use them again. The website is false advertising. DON'T waste your money! The dipped berries at my local grocer were prettier and bigger and alot less!
