They will charge you twice the shipping price to "guarantee" delivery by a certain date, then send you an email on that date saying "oops, sorry... here's coupon for your next order." Like I'd ever order from this place again. $#*! you & your berries "Shari". Thanks for screwing up one of apparently MANY Mothers Days.
My daughter sent me a vanilla cake, cake day later then promised. Cake was smashed. She tried on 3 different occasions to contact them and they did not respond.
I placed my order 8 days before Mother's Day to be delivered the day before Mother's Day for a better chance of delivery. I found out late that they wouldn't be delivered until Tuesday. Obviously upset, I called in and spoke to a supervisor there, Fredee, who set up a new order with me for double the berries and would only charge me the original price I paid. They got here the very next day, on Mother's Day and they looked beautiful. Biggest strawberries I've ever seen.
I know this won't be everyone's experience with this company, but the definitely seem to do everything they can to help their customers when something goes wrong.
I ordered a dozen mothers day strawberries and although I payed an arm and a leg, they arrived on time and in perfect condition. They were large and fully covered in delicious chocolate. I live in Pennsylvania and it was also caught in the rain in 52 degree weather. Still they were excellent and made my girls day. Id say it was worth it.
DO NOT EVER COUNT ON THIS INCOMPETENT COMPANY! THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DELIVER THE DAY BEFORE, NEVER DELIVERED ANYTHING! CHARGED ME ANY WAY!
This place sux! Order placed on Tue 5/8 was billed $20 for delivery and promised Thur. Today is 5/12 and nothing with Mothers Day tomorrow. If you call customer service expect a long wait because as you can see from all the complaints, these guys scammed a lot of ppl! Am not paying my bill and will never order again. If you have an occasion that needs a specific date for delivery - find another company. Mothers Day will come and go without the $125 I spent. After 2 calls I was finally told it would be there by Tuesday. 2 days after mothers day. Horrible experience. Horrible customer service. Never again. If I could rate this with negative stars I would. Buyer beware.
I ordered in plenty of time for the delivery, but paid extra just to make sure it was delivered on time. First customer rep assured me that because it wasnt delivered, she would overnight it and for my troubles would also send my mom flowers. I check no flowers, so I called back. First rep never placed the order so my mom is not going to receive anything for mothers day as I am in another state and her berries which were to be delivered Friday she will not receive until Monday! So do you really expect the item to be edible after 5 days of setting in a UPS warehouse.
Ordered for Mother's day on Wednesday with Friday delivery. Checked tracking on Friday and it shows it will be delivered on Monday. I called and they sent another shipment with a guarantee of it arriving on Sunday for Mother's day. This order shipped on Saturday and again it shows delivery on Monday. I again called and asked to speak with manager. Manager says they have a special agreement with Fedex and it will be delivered as promised. A quick search shows Fedex does not deliver on Sundays. Very upset, will never order from them again.
I am so aggravated by this company and their horrible customer service! Two years ago I used them and everything was wonderful. Last year minor glitch and package never delivered but they immediately made good and sent a replacement. Ok so things happen! This year on the other hand is total crap... they send a delivered email... call to see if delivered to my mom... nope. So I get on the phone with the. And low and behold they have outsourced their customer service department to a man that could barely speak English and tells me that they didn't have the right Unit number and keeps repeating the wrong number and I'm telling him the right one. Then tells me that the package was delivered to front door and to check the bushes! WTF. ARE YOU SERIOUS. Then says they will ship out another order sometime next week... NO REFUND MY MONEY NOW... NEVER AGAIN!

What a ripoff roses were dinky 3 strawberries were small not large like they advertise roses were almost dead started out 49.95 ended up being 79 dollars after all the fees what a ripoff never again if your smart go to sams club or costco for strawberries one dozen dipped chocolates for 14.99 dozen roses for 15.99 and fresh not 3 weeks old like sharies berries what a joke wish i would of went to sams club earlier before i ordered these from sharies youve been warned im a real customer in orange county calif

Never got an email and it was the day before. Called and trust me after 10 questions, the lady just keep saying cant deliver and cancel order. She was not responding to why it cant be delivered when I paid extra for guaranteed delivery. Same answer, every time. They have no concept of guaranteed delivery or customer service. With this kind of organization, I do expect them to go out of business. I will never ever order from them and recommend all my family and friends to avoid them at all cost.
A good company will call and tell the extra ordinary circumstance, if there was one, that they cannot deliver. They expect their customers to find the hard way.
Wow this is a very big disapointment $ 51.18 for this crap. Wow looks nothing like the picture they advertise and some of them are shaped in balls. They even have a botter taste there is no fancy about theese over prices strawberries. This is not fair that they do this to people. What a rip off i better be gettinag my refund.! My frst and last time ordering frm this place! So beware people!
My husband ordered these for me for a surprised mothers day gift. You could smell the rotten strawberries from outside the delivery box. I knew they were ruined when I undid the tape and saw it wasnt in a cooler. My husband apparently paid extra because we are in a hotter climate (Arizona) and he paid for a cooler. I felt so horrible telling him they were rotten and melted...
The truffles were obviously ruined also. I called customer service and they were nice and apologized but we just wanted a refund. Supposed to be coming in a few days to our account. Just go with edible arrangements.
UPS delivered on a 90 degree day in Texas. Box was thrown against front door and the driver pounded on the door, like he was the police. Opened the box to find each an every shell was broken and the berries had sweated in the box. Very disappointing, will never order again. I have had the berries at a friends house and they were nothing like these. The quality was less than those you see at the grocery for $8.99 for a DOZEN!
I ordered the berries to share with my friends as a thank you for all they have done for me in the past 6 weeks. I am 82 years old, live on social security and am recovering from a broken hip. This was supposed to be A make us feel good before Mother's Day - SAD!
WARNING... you don't get to see the total jacked up price until they have your money. My order was 34.95 with a supposed 20% discount that I didn't get and they took $71.23 out of my bank for 6 berries and 4 pretzels!... THEY ARE CROOKS!
The berries are expensive, come with crazy shipping costs (ie $10 for regular shipping +$20 for "rush" 5 day shipping +$6 rural surcharge), then you get all the way to the end and go to place order (mind you they still say in stock) and it says its undeliverable! Go back, try again, fill out the same info AGAIN with different produces and says same thing, even though it's clearly listed in stock. Call customer service trying to figure out what's in stock, english is clearly not a first language, and after 1.5 hours total is told I can't order anything at all because of the address, even though I told him the address in the beginning and the issues I had! Total waste of time
Exorbitant product cost coupled with deceptive double charging for two separate shipping charges and no attempt to address the dissatisfaction, make amends, ask a higher level supervisor or manager to intervene---these are just a few of the reasons I will NEVER order from this company again!
When I told the rep that I was going to write a negative review and tell everyone I know not to do business with Shari's Berries, the rep could care less and just wanted me to end the communication.
I ordered berries for my 87 year old Mother-in-Law. The delivery date was to be May 10,2018. I had her stay home to wait on the delivery... they never came. I called to find out what the problem was. I was told the delivery date was changed to the 15th which was not acceptable. I was told they could ship a different item but would have to give my card info again. I said no way! I had already been charged for an order that was never received. I ask for cancellation confirmation and was told it would take 48 hours. I will never order again and I'm also contacting Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck to let the know the kind of company they are advertising. Also, the call center was in the Phillipeans and I could not understand the rep :(
Answer: Because they f@ckimg suck, that's why. Once they get your money, piss off. They charged me 4 times for my order and never responded to any of my emails.
