I ordered a dozen chocolate covered strawberries for my mother on mother's day. I ordered well in advance to have them delivered the Thursday prior. They never arrived and UPS tracking said the box was empty and damaged and they would notify shipper. I emailed every day for 4 days with no response from their customer service.
Today I called and the first person disconnected me. I called back and they wanted to re-deliver. I asked for a refund and was told that would take 5 to 7 business days. Funny it did not take 5 to 7 business days to charge my card for the order. That was immediate!
I asked them to expedite the refund and the person just kept saying over and over that I would get an email.
Horrible experience - please don't make the mistake I did. My mom is 80. Next mother's day I'll use someone reputable.

I tried to order on line w/ their coupon. It charged me $8 more for some type of shipping. So I called. Got someone I could barley understand. Then it took me 20 minutes to get my order. She thought Oklahoma abbreviation was OW or OH. So they never showed up before Mothers Day (ordered for May 8th). Called them, order went through again. No charge to me. It still didn't show up! Every time, the confirmation e-mail never came to me. So I had to call again! Still no confirmation e-mail called again. Supposedly they sent it again. But NO! But today May 17th my Mom said "Guess what showed up!". Only 9 days late! NEVER EVER WILL I ORDER FROM SHARI'S BERRIES! They Better Taste Extraordinary!

Ordered Shari's berries for my mother, who shared them with the family. All of the strawberries were tart and sweating, even as it came with a frozen ice pack and stored in the fridge. Had a copper-y aftertaste when bitten into and at one point caught a family member peeling the chocolate off the strawberries. Speaking of chocolate, the decorations (sprinkles, chocolate chips, etc) were not nearly as nice as seen on the website--nor were the strawberries as big. Standard shipping is $14.99, can you believe that?! Would not recommend or send to my worst enemy.

My daughter ordered chocolate dipped berries from Shari's Berries to have them delivered to my hotel room in Miami Beach, FL for Mother's Day. I kept checking with the hotel desk, and my daughter called Shari's several times to confirm address etc. She was told they would be delivered ON Mother's Day. They never arrived. Many phone calls later from my daughter to Shari's, and they said that they would have them delivered to my hotel by 10:30 am, Monday, May 14,2018, the day AFTER Mother's Day. Still NO delivery. I checked out of hotel Monday at noon, arrived back home in MA Monday evening, called hotel to see if they had arrived, and nothing. My daughter kept tracking the order and all it said was "processing". Tuesday, May 15, my daughter called Shari's again, explained the order never arrived, and that when tracking it, it only says processing. Long story short, she was told, it didn't make it there because she never gave a street address, which is total BS! Regardless of whether she did or not, if they didn't have a street as they said, first off why didn't they call her, and second, all they had to do was Google the hotel, as it was not a chain and was the only one of its kind in Miami Beach. After about 25 minutes on the phone, they reluctantly agreed to send the order to our home address. (they did refund her money), however, when they arrived today, 5/16, they were askew in the box, they looked like crap, some were cracked and they were all sweaty and warm, not to mention they were NOT the same ones she had originally ordered. They said they were sending this replacement as a "courtesy", but that they were making a detailed note in their computer that if she ordered from them again, they would not make any special considerations in the future. The berries were so bad when they arrived, we threw them out! If you are looking for a quality item and service, Shari's is NOT your place! Oh, and did I mention, they are all fermented!? Gross!

I couldn't have chosen standard shipping if I wanted to or flexible dates because of their product was being delivered to AZ, however I believe the Rural Shipping Charge is a joke, Cave Creek isn't exactly rural when you consider there is a gas station / shopping plaza on every corner, not exactly the picture of rural. The basic cost of shipping of their product is ridiculous, the shipping costs more than the product maybe Shari's Berries needs to look into alternative shipping partners because all the additional, additional, additional costs that I paid to have your product shipped did not even ensure that the ice cooling the product wasn't melted at time of delivery.

Unfortunately, my mother loves their product.

When i ordered my gift and it was delivered the box did not contain all of the product that was ordered. When i called they were very polite and listened and made the correction to my order that same day. The coolest thing (no pun intended) was that the corrected product was delivered the next day. Now that is customer service, thank you very much for making a great Mothers day.

3 days late and they came melted and covered with mold. Several of the flowers were dead or broken and their response was well we can give you your money back. A bad Mothers Day for my wife which means a horrible day for the rest of us. Never again will I trust this company to do something important...

Ordered a dz chocolate covered strawberries they arrived Friday as ordered. Opened up the packaging to present them to my mother and they were almost to room temperature. The one small ice pack was completely thought out and just barely chilled My mother enjoyed the strawberries and said that compared to one of her friends that had brought Wheres to church to share hers were much more tart embarrassed were. I also filled out online a card that included three lines and it was not included in the packaging. I also sent the same exact gift to my mother-in-law and the same exact thing was done with hers. Just a little disappointing.

I ordered for my mother for mothers day. I chose delivery as either Thursday or Friday before she left work. At 6:00 pm, still nothing. I called the company. They could only say it was in transit but did not know where it was or when/if it would be delivered. Well it arrived today. 4 days late. The box smelled. The flowers were out of water and wilted; the strawberries you could hardly tell were strawberries. What was supposed to be a surprise became an embarrassment for my mother. I planned ahead with my order. I wanted to make her happy. This was the worst mother's day!

Outrageous standard shipping cost. I received a 30% discount coupon via email and it didn't work so I had to place my order over the phone. The representative did not speak good English and could not understand me so it took 25 minutes to place the order. Not worth the money.

My boss asked me to make an order for mothers day. He requested I order 3 packages 1 for his wife 1 for his mother in law and he said I could order something for myself. The only order that was right for the amount of money the flowers and chocolate covered strawberries should have come perfect but no I ended up having to rip off all the dead flower pettles and the strawberries that we pay 15.95 for shipping because of the special box and ice packs to keep them cold was a complete failure. They strawberries were melted and chunks of chocolate were falling off. That was the 1st package that was over $100 dollars. Now his wife package was suppose to be 2 dozed red roses and Chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate covered cheese cake bites. She ended up getting a poinsettia looking plant and that was over $150 dollars. My package was just the chocolate covered strawberries and they were melted and chunks of chocolate were falling off the strawberries. I cut on open and the inside was mushy and looked old. I called the customer service line and they offered to send new packages but not till the 15th. These were mothers day gifts how was getting them on the 15th going to help? I ended up throwing away $60 in chocolate covered strawberries they were awful. I would not recommend this company to any one not even to send to someone I dont like no less someone I do. It was a waste of money and time and they didn't even care that they screwed up mothers day gifts for 3 people and by the looks of theses reviews a lot more moms than that. My whole bill was $360 dollars and I should call 911 because I was robbed!

Wish there was a "zero star" rating. Like some others, paid the ridiculous shipping for Mother's Day delivery, but product never arrived. Sent an email over the weekend, but no response by Monday afternoon. Called the company and they issued a full refund without explanation as to what had happened with my order. Never again.

I ordered 1/2 dozen chocolate covered strawberries for my daughters-in-law for Mother's day, and my husband ordered the same for me as he was out of town. So my family spent about $150 on 18 strawberries that, by the time you get them, the strawberries look great, but have a fermented taste to them. If you want to give them, use someone who is in town and can do them fresh, or do them yourself! Save $150!

First off, they offer an expensive service, which I would be willing to pay if the quality matched the price. They charged me three separate shipping fees, one as a base fee, another for Monday delivery, and a third for shipping to a "Rural address". Which again, I wouldn't mind, if everything checked out. But the final straw is that they sent the wrong card with the order. My mom's husband was rightfully distressed when my mother got a card that said "love, Chuck", when she has no child named Chuck. They offered me a $5.00 refund, which I think is hardly worth the disappointment and confusion.

I ordered a dozen chocolate dipped strawberries about 4 days before Mothers Day. I decided to use this company because they were advertising to have things delivered on Mothers day. I got an email on Saturday that they had already been shipped. I was confused because I was expecting them to be delivered the following day when I had asked them to be. The next day I called my mom to see if she had received anything. When she told me no, I called the company to ask what happened. They said that since I ordered it to a business on a holiday it was ASSUMED that they were closed and it would be shipped the following day. I couldn't believe how ridiculous it was that they would do this on Mothers Day for an Item that was promoted to be delivered on Mothers day. Finally after some convincing I was able to speak to the supervisor who assured me he would have somebody go out immediately to try to get the package delivered before the next day. I gave him a number to call upon arrival if they didnt see anybody there. Today (monday) my mom calls to tell me that somebody left a package in the 90 degree heat and she didnt know how long they had been there. Everything was melted. DO NOT USE this company for anything.

I ordered a dozen strawberries with the cheesecake bites for my mom for Mothers Day. She received what I ordered on the day they said it would be delivered but unfortunately, everything was all melted and looked like it had been thrown around a truck. I immediately called after receiving the pictures she sent, the woman on the phone at Shari's berries couldn't be more polite and helpful if she tried. That evening an entire new shipment was sent to my mom "overnight" at their expense and she received a beautiful gift the next day. This was all replaced for free and by the way... mom said the strawberries were delicious!

Please DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. They will lie through their teeth and take your money, and then make excuses. We ordered a Mother's Day package, and we were ok with the price we were paying. Looked at the bank later, and they charged us an extra $20 because:
1. "It is extra for Mother's Day."
2. "You ordered Saturday delivery. That means another delivery surcharge."
3. "If you had looked, and the price was purple, that means free shipping. If red, it isn't." Seriously?
And the excuses went in. We had to call customer service twice just to get someone who spoke English.

It was an awful time, terrible service, and so not worth it. We are extremely frustrated.

Placed an order for truffles and strawberries on the Tuesday before Mother's Day. Paid the exorbitant shipping for delivery Saturday before Mother's Day. They shipped in two separate orders. The strawberries never arrived. They gave me a refund for the strawberries, but that doesn't fix the very disappointing experience. I will never order from them or recommend.

I have ordered once prior from this company and the quality was good. However, They did not deliver on the saturday prior to Mothers Day and when I called the next day, there was no explanation. UPS tracking showed it never arrived at the UPS warehouse. Even if you pay extra, they are not reliable. Like other buyers with similar problems, they offered a coupon and to refund the EXTRA shipping charge (not the regular shipping charge of 16.99). I passed and I will not use this company again due to reliability
