I received a flyer in the regular mail. 25% off and the discount would be applied at check out. I was ordering $300 worth of products. After the tediously long ordering process was complete, it did not give me the discount. I think they hope you go ahead and place the order without the discount. Called the phone number to question/complain. They would not give me the discount despite it being a valid date and coupon. Called again with same result. Both customer service representatives spoke poor English. Will NEVER EVER order from this company.

If you are looking for a gift for someone, I would go somewhere other than Shari's Berries. I was so pleased to read some of the reviews to see that they are just not great. It wasn't just me. Ordering online was painful, slow and was like medieval torture.

Shari's Berries charges $15 shipping per item even if all items are shipped to the same place. So if you purchase 10 $20 items, you pay $150 in shipping. That's $#*!ing ridiculous. I will never dignify that with my business.

The berries are good, I've ordered them in the past. My only complaint is that this time it took me two HOURS to order over the phone. My online order wouldn't go through and because of having to order over the phone I didn't get the discounts I should have. Then the first phone order was incorrect. I called back and the only recourse was to cancel the order and re-order. We did that, but again trouble with shipment addresses and their system refusing to acknowledge addresses that are correct in the US postal system. WTF. An HOUR later my order was placed.

Berries and flowers arrived late due to NJ snowstorm. Emailed customer support and Shari's Berries replied same day and issued a full refund with apology. I felt guilty as the berries were very well picked, made, and packaged. Highly recommend.

Disappointed

For our 40year wedding anniversary our children bought the fruit of the month for one year. Our first dilevery was pomegranate, they were old and brown when we cut them open. TRASHED! We said okay that's one time. We just revived our second delivery, UGH! So disappointed apples and pears. The apples have brown bruses and one has what appears to be someone's initials poked in it. The pears just look old. I definitely would not recommend using Shari's Gourmet.

Savory Snacking Gift Box

I ordered the savory snacking gift box on 11/13/18@1:40pm and received a sweet email confirmation that it was getting put together. There was a date availability for next day delivery so I picked that and paid standard delivery of $14.99 plus $4.99 for rush delivery and it arrived right at noon on 11/14/2018. I had received the initial purchase email, then another one that same day during the evening that the package was sent out, and then another email 5 minutes upon delivery. I am so content I chose Shari's Berries to purchase this gift from and for such smooth process. My corporate gift was delivered without any issues. I will definitely purchase from this company again for any occasion in the near future. Excellent service. Thanks Shari's Berries for making someone's day a special one.

Never Again

Total scammers. Do not give them your money. My item was supposed to be delivered on Saturday Nov 3,2018 which I paid extra for. I paid an outrageous $27.99 for shipping. I called at 3pm on Saturday to find out why iit wasnt delivered as of yet. Before calling customer service I had checked UPS shipment tacking. The UPS tracking had said that 'status unavailable'. Customer service told me it was in transit and would be delivered today by 9pm. The agent on the phone told me she would call me back shortly with an updated time of delivery. I never got a phone call back. At 8pm on Saturday, I got an email saying that the item has just shipped. To sum it up, the gift never got to my friend on her Birthday, I have been scammed of my money and it would've never shipped had I jot chased it. Do not give your money to these scammers.

Placed an order for a dozen strawberries to be sent on my anniversary. Only to find out they were shipped 3 day after. The berries never arrived. The point is too pay an extra 16.00 for on time delivery. However i place my order in due time for the gift to arrive on time. All im saying is this company is a total rip off and the founder needs to be ashamed for the terrible service, broken advertisements and outsourcing customer service jobs. Im completly overwhelmed by this whole transaction and hope someone close this scam called Sharis Berries!

I cancelled my order.

I will never order from this company again. I ordered a birthday present 3 weeks ago. I found out today (the day it was to be delivered, the birthday) that they screwed up the address. They said they could resend it but not until next week. I said no. I spent $14 to have it delivered on time. Get that you have to pay more money to make sure it's delivered on time, something they should do anyway.

So I call Shari's Berries this morning to place an order. What a fiasco! First of all I'm talking to someone from India I think. I can not understand him. I had to have him repeat to me what he was saying three times! So frustrating! I was on the phone for probably a half an hour just trying to understand him. Once the order was finally placed I was still unsure if it was all done correctly. So I called back and got another foreign person! Ugh! We'll see what happens with my order. After reading the reviews I'm frightened.

Customer service is horrid! First time using this company and the last time as well!
Ordered something a week ago to specifically be delivered today! Nothing! Maybe tomorrow? I called customer service and while they said they take full responsibility, I was only refunded my shipping cost.

Sent a request for a small gift basket/gift certificate donation for Our soldiers company Christmas raffle event. They didn't even try to questions or get more information. They just sent a cold automated email response denying. They make it sound like our request is for money or a large amount. PFF never getting anything from them again.

Bad berries

Ice pack they came with was hot... chocolate was melting and some cracked... box the berries came in was soaked... berry juice all over.
