I ordered a Valentines Gift for my husband with a delivery date of 2/11. I paid the extra $14.99 besides the $17.99 to have it delivered before noon. At 12:30, I called him asking if he received anything. The answer no. I called Shari's Berties and spoke to a rep asking where the order was coming from. She spoke very little English and responded the US. Again I asked where in Nj it was originating from. Again she replied the US. Apparently she had no clue! I should have learned my lesson because a year earlier, they had delivered my gift to the wrong address. Having the benefit of the doubt, I ordered this year. My mistake! I had to argue with them for a refund. The my gift, order never made it to my husband. To say the least, as I told the supervisor, this was my last. I learned my lesson and will NEVER order from them again!
My fiancé ordered me a Valentine's Day box for my birthday and the forgot part of the order and The flowers were half dead.
Service is terrible - and when they charge 14.99 for standard delivery plus a 3.99 local handling fee, you would think you would at least be able to track the delivery. Unfortunately, the site was useless and the notification emails never came. NEVER AGAIN. You absolutely do not get what you pay for.
I only tried Shari's Berries because there was a Groupon offer. First of all, they totally jack up the shipping price for "guaranteed Valentine's Day delivery". What a bunch of BS! They wanted over $50 extra to ship on Valentine's Day. I had my daughter's delivered to her at college today to avoid the extra shipping cost and they are definitely not worth the price. The strawberries are WAY TOO SMALL FOR THE PRICE! I'll stick with my local candy shop!
I attempted to order chocolate covered strawberries on-line and their system was down, so i called the 'customer service' number. There is nothing even close to customer service associated with the phone number. The person did not speak understandable English, nor did he understand it. It took over an hour to place the order, and he told me I couldn't get the special that they were featuring on-line even though their site was down. It's a shame they have such terrible customer service because their product is good. Unfortunately, word of mouth will end up hurting the business... I will never order again!
They broadcast on the radio of they're great prices and quality. What they don't tell you is they ADD EXTRA FEES FOR EVERYTHING. I went to order dozen roses and half dozen dipped strawberries using radio code which was $39.99. At the Checkout they CHARGE YOU $14.99 shipping then another $14.99 if you want it by Noon and Another $9.99 for guaranteed delivery on that date...$40 in shipping and they're customer service is HORRIBLE can't understand them. NO HELP. STAY AWAY
I order a BIRTHDAY gift for a friend who also happens to be a client. I ordered 12 assorted cake pops, 6 BIRTHDAY chocolate covered strawberries, and 4 chocolate covered cookies on Monday for a Saturday delivery. I paid the extra fee to enclose a BIRTHDAY card with a message. Only for my recipient to receive ONLY 3 GET WELL CAKE POPS, regular and not birthday decorated strawberries and 4 cookies that looked like they fell in a mud puddle. When I called their most horrible and disgusting customer service, they gave me the run around, could have cared less about the error and said I had reached Pakistan! Is this company not based in California? I could hardly understand a word they said and they REFUSED to let me speak to a supervisor. I HAD TO ASK them to ship out the correct items that I purchased. Their earliest ship date was 5 DAYS from Saturday! Happy Birthday? Belated more like it! Guess what? They never replaced my order! This company is DISGUSTING! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!
Worst customer service I've ever experienced. They don't speak English. I was hung up on 3 times. Stay away.
They charged extra fees not selected. Charged my credit card in 2 minutes with confirmation. Requested cancellation in 4 minutes after order and no confirmation will be sent and 7-10 days for credit. They are a joke so don't waste your time. I spent 1 hour or more on phone with them and my credit card company. I should of read reviews before ordering from them. Wanted to do something nice for my 92 year old dad that just lost his wife/my mom. Better off to deliver on your own.
Extremely high shipping fees, $12.99, plus an additional $9.99 for Valentine's day delivery, plus $3.99 for a rural delivery fee and that's to State College, Pa area! That's $26.97 in fees! So the 20% off special they are running, they gain it all back at the end right before you pay! Beware! Customer service was not helpful at all, waste of time contacting them. Never purchase from them again!
I went through the process of ordering. When I got to the check out, I was astonished by the B. S. S&H and an additional fee. It more than doubled the price of my order.(AND what the hell is wrong with SiteJaber? When I've made a typo, I can back space to correct. Had to retype the entire sentence). Shari's puts the complete pricing at the very end, after getting the payment information. Slick Shari! Not everyone will fall for that. I cancelled my order. Now, they are loading my email with "Did you forget something?" messages.

You leave a number for them to call with issues, which they do not use. I sent an order to someone very important to me the week before Christmas... I DID accidentally put the incorrect address. They were delivered in the correct development but the wrong house. The person who received them reached out to Shari's Berries right away. They emailed me Jan 15. That email asked me to contact them for a refund or resolution. When I did reach out to them they basically stated that it was my mistake so there was nothing they could do.
BAD BAD BAD. CUSTOMER SERVICE CANT EVEN SPEAK ENGLISH I HOPE YOU GO BANKRUPT. SHAME ON YOU FOR OUTSOURCING I WILL NEVER ORDER AGAIN AND AM TELLING EVERYONE
Only gave one star because you can't give zero! Ordered two different items for my grandsons, only one was delivered. I was charged an extra delivery for a Sat even though the missing package was supposedly delivered on Friday. Could not understand the person at customer service, so basically got nowhere with that. This has been a terrible experience and would not recommend this company to even my worst enemy. I want my money back!
I ordered a Full Dozen Gourmet Dipped Fancy Strawberries for $29.98 and was pleasantly surprised. Not only did I receive them in just 2 days they were absolutely as advertised. DELISIOUS, FRESH & exactly looked like the pictures did on there website. I am sure you all know what you see on websites, menu board's IE the fast food places, B.K, Wendy's, Mc Donald's etc. The product looks nothing like the pictures do. I am not saying I don't like a burger now and then but I do not expect to get what there showing. With Shari's Berries I did. I have already place another order. If your looking for fresh gourmet fruit that's sure to please I wouldn't look any further.
The worst service ever! I've ordered with them for over 5 years without any problems, but this year is the worst! First, they couldn't track my package, then when I tried to get it delivered again they wanted to charge me again! I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told NO! I then asked for a refund and they only refunded me $1.00! This really ruined a special occasion, my wife really loves them and needed something to be cheerful about. My mother-in-law has to have surgery and I thought this would uplift both of them. Thanks for nothing! I've sent several emails with no response! I wish I could have given you a 0 instead of a 1!
I ordered a dozen and all the recipient received was a box with ice packs and NO BERRIES! Called the customer number and got a thick accented guy who kept trying to sell me a "free" $100 gift certificate that I had to pay for. WTH. I told him I just wanted customer service and he hung up on me! I had to email Shari's Berries but so far no response. I will have to see if I can get my credit card charge reversed. Shari's Berries gets a ZERO in my book.
This team for customer service is absolutely the worst! On top of that they are trying to charge me $14.99 + $4.99 for shipping their "standard shipping" or Flexible shipping as they called it and the item was only $19.99. I will NEVER purchase from this company EVER again. Their product is good but it is NOT good enough to deal with their customer service team.
Sorry to say but this company is a FLOP!
Answer: Because they f@ckimg suck, that's why. Once they get your money, piss off. They charged me 4 times for my order and never responded to any of my emails.
