The title says it all. I ordered berries on February 4, and they were supposed to be delivered on February 13. They didn't show up. I called customer "service" and they provided a tracking number. Upon tracking that number, I found that the package hadn't even been sent yet (as of February 14). I tried to cancel the order, but was told that I couldn't. DO NOT patronize these guys.
Wife calls me feb 13th to say thank you for the early flowers and strawberries.
Call customer service like everyone else here has and got the "overseas customer service" who's English was terrible. They offered me a 14.99 credit? Seriously, for something over $100 and ruining the day for my wife?
Called my card company requesting a chargeback.
Sherries berries, if your reading this, please review your business model, it needs to be fixed. I'll never buy again after this experience
Received a package of Shari's Berries with flowers for Valentine's day. They were poorly packaged, the lid not secure. Went to open it and because the cooling packet pushed the contents so far up that the lid was not secure, strawberries went flying all over the room. Spent an hour cleaning up melted chocolate and strawberries. What a waste. I told the person who sent them that they were wonderful (didn't want to hurt his feelings) but I will NEVER endorse or recommend this business or product. Never.
They delivered the wrong package for Valentines. One worth far less than what I paid and to be honest by the reaction of the customer service agent they knew it. I got a limited time package of jerkies and meats, clearly trying to compete with man crates, and they delivered some more female oriented small package to my husband. ( not that there is anything wrong with that but I wouldn't spend my money to send him that. Now a crate of meats meant to impress that's what I wanted) instead of reaching out, admitting their error, offering other options or a refund they thought- hey maybe they won't know we sent some cheap garbage instead. When I called the person was unhelpful, unsympathetic and bad at their job. I have worked customer service for over tens years, two in a call center, and this was just awful. As a company they had so many opportunities to make up for their error, but didn't. Not until I got angry and demanded a refund did I get anything that made me slightly happy. Thanks for ruining a surprise valentine for my husband in our first year of marriage.
These are the smallest strawberries we've ever seen. The toppings are sparse. What a waste of hard earned money. They don't come close to all the hype. We waited for years to give Shari's Berries a try. What a huge disappointment.
My fiance lives in the UK, I live in California. He placed the order a few days ago. However, maybe yesterday he called to cancel it after seeing all of the horrible reviews. They informed him they would not be able to cancel the order as it had already processed but that they would give him a refund.
Today, on 2/13, I was surprised (on time according to him) with a large package while facetiming my fiance. The box was cute and inside everything was packaged appropriately. The chocolate covered strawberries had padding above and an ice pack and looked great. Yes, some chocolate was broken (not much) and chocolate chips and sprinkles were a little lose but overall they looked beautiful and cute. More importantly, TASTED perfect. The berries were medium to large and sweet and deep red on the inside. The chocolate was great.
Underneath, the dozen roses (red, white, pink) were all beautiful, well wrapped, and came with adequate care instructions. Overall, everything looked beautiful, tasted great, and customer service worked with my fiance and went above and beyond. I hope no one is too scared off by bad reviews or understands the customer service is willing to work with you to make sure everything is okay. It made our long distance Valentine's Day romantic and sweet and perfect.
Side note: two missing chocolates are not missing, I ate them. And two: bear not included, he is from a previous Valentine's Day. :)
After seeing all these other reviews I guess I am lucky. I am very disappointed but the strawberries looked better than many of the other pictures I have seen. Not nearly as beautiful as advertised though. The flowers are a mess. They were delivered upside down and I had to do quite a bit of pruning to get them to look this good. I would have been far better off buying from a local florist or even the grocery store.
To kick start it, they need to hire some people that can speak and understand ENGLISH! Stop being so cheap about employment
Ordered berries and roses for Valentine's Day. Delivered bu UPS and berries were not packed well at all. Came damaged and two of the six we had to trash. Flowers were OK but learned a lesson and wouldn't order anything ever again
Chocolate dipped strawberries were delishious but there was no card which ruined the excitement of the thank you phone call I would have gotten :( I had to call my mother in law to tell her they were from me. Ruined it...
I ordered a half dozen berris and half dozen chocolates for my wife for Valentines Day. The shipping charges are ridiculous but I wanted to give this a try so I ordered them. They arrived on time on 2/13/19. The only problem is I only received the half dozen, rather small berries and no chocolates that I had paid for. I called customer service and the person was Indian and we had communication problems. I eventually got her to understand that I only received half of my order and there was no time for them to ship anything else that would arrived before Valentines Day. I eventually got the entire order refunded to me. This was the first and last time I will order from the this company. Save your money and go to Russell Stovers or do the berries yourself.
Ordered our first batch of Shari Berries. They were very good, other than I was very disappointed in the sizes of the strawberries themselves I will leave a picture below, and I left three strawberries there and I left one of the biggest one that was in the box of 12 but all the rest were pretty small.! For the price we paid I could have went to my local market and got bigger strawberries! And the add-on fees at the checkout be ready for those.
I called to cancel my order on 11 February the representative said ok and i would be

My order was "PROCESSED" so I emailed back and reminded them about the call. The
Next day I received ANOTHER email asking me for my order information(now I'm starting to
Boil) I give them the information. The next day same stupid email arrives saying I couldn't cancel. Today I get an email saying "HOORAY YOUR ORDER SHIPPED"
I will not be using them again----BTW-----the ORIGINAL Shari's Berries went BANKRUPT

Used this company a couple of time in the past 10 years. Shipping charges are out of control and product quality has gone down hill. Latest order was combined with a dozen roses from Pro Flowers --- but I guess that the people placing the order can only count to 10. I got 10 roses and 6 small strawberries for $60 -- customer service was not good and it took me 10 minutes to get a service rep and then they had me on hold for 15 minutes. I will not use Shari's Berries or Pro Flowers ever again.
Heard countless radio ads offering special pricing. Figured I'd give them a try. Ordered 10 chocolate covered cherries and 3 3 inch cheese cakes. The total came to 44 dollars. Not bad. These people charged me a total of 50 dollars to ship. They advertise heavily for Valentine's day delivery. Well, the standard delivery is 17 bucks. If you want your $#*! delivered on Valentine's day, it's an extra 10 bucks. But wait, there's more. If you want your berries delivered during the day, and not at 8 o'clock at night, that'll be an extra 15 bucks. Get the $#*! out of here with that $#*!. Doesn't matter what the berries taste like, I'll never order from that place again!
While the product is delicious, their customer service is an absolute nightmare! The website was acting very slowly and somehow changed my order to the Fancy berries instead of the Gourmet dipped strawberries. Once I realized the error I called customer service and attempted to modify it. The customer service rep spoke very little English. He acted as though he understood what I was saying and then at the end said "ok you will receive one dozen fancy berries". I said no, that is the order I wanted to modify. He says "ok I'll cancel order correct". I again said NO, modify it. He said "ok you will receive one dozen fancy strawberries on feb 13. Anything else you need"? After being extremely frustrated I asked to speak to supervisor. He told me it wasn't possible. Very frustrated, I told him to cancel the order. He said ok it's cabcelked. I asked for email confirmation he said "you will have to call legal department" (wtf?!) So I go online and re-order the berries that I actually want. And low and behold, 24 hrs later they are BOTH out for delivery, and $130 later my account was charged for both orders. After trying to call and resolve this I am told "sorry ma'am this order is no longer modifiable". I am so beyond frustrated that I cannot even begin to explain! This company should be shut down and ashamed of themselves!
After writing this review, I checked my email and there was a refund processing, thankfully! Still a nightmare to deal with.
They made me extra for delivery and it was 3 days after my scheduled delivery date and never got anything! Rip off and the workers are absolutely rude! They literally wanted to keep my money and keep taking it! Luckily I had payment protection with my card! Horrible experience! -0 + F- = Shari's berrirs
My husband wanted to surprise me, well the berries were either not ripe or rotten. Yes rotten. Like most families we can't afford to waste money so the almost $70 he spent on them is making me sick since they went in the trash. We will never order these ever again. It feels like false advertisement. My order looked nothing like what they promise/promote. My kids litterly spit them out they were so awful.
Everywhere are ads that say $19.95 but when I ordered the price was $29.95. Even after I ordered I found two sites that said the price was $19.95. Very poor service
I feel for the hype from Rush Limbaugh how great these strawberries were. Big mistake, they arrived late and the size of the strawberries were smaller than our worst grocery store strawberries. I was so embarrassed that I actually cried in front of my wife. I felt so sorry for her. I will tell any and everybody that are considering ordering these rip off pitiful strawberries. Please don't waste your money for these overpriced berries.
Answer: Because they f@ckimg suck, that's why. Once they get your money, piss off. They charged me 4 times for my order and never responded to any of my emails.
