Ordered a week before vday! And the 24 berries we ordered never came! Called over 25 times and have been hung up on EVERY time... will NEVER order from here again!
My husband spent over $50.00 on chocolate covered strawberries to be delivered today. Outrageous shipping and the product came damaged and seeping red. Opened them and the two that weren't smashed were moldy, so I'm going to go out on a limb and say they all were probably moldy. To clarify this so people dont think it was the shipping company. The box they were shipped in was not damaged but the sherries berries box was smashed. So that means one of their employees packaged a damaged product. Just tossed $50 in the trash. Save your money and buy locally.
My boo paid for guaranteed delivery along with a morning delivery. It is now 4pm and nothing. Called customer service and all they said was order was updated to delivery on February 15,2019 with no guarantee of time. So yea my Day is ruined. Would guve them a 0 if I could.
I ordered a full doz strawberries for my wife for Valentines day. Here I think I'm getting her the very best large plump fancy dipped gourmet strawberries. But what she received were strawberries I could have picked up in the supermarket for $3.50. They were small, not ripe and melting.
Unfortunately for me I should have read the reviews first. I guess they never receive repeat orders they make there money on first time shills like me.
Very sad, I hope the diamond ring I gave my wife mad her happy because the berries didn't sweeten the deal.
I placed a order to be delivered on valentine's day and even paid the guaranteed delivery charge. Tried to get a hold of customer service about 8 times until someone finally answered. The order will be delivered on the 15th and they can't explain why. At least they refunded my guaranteed delivery charge. I won't be using them again.
No need to repeat what everyone else has said. Do not order from this place. Delivery is not happening today even though I placed the order 10 days ago and paid extra to have it delivered before noon. I cannot get a hold of anyone on the phone. Sent them an email, but have not heard anything back.
I placed an order a week ago for Valentines day. I received an email on valentines day that it will be arriving tomorrow. Customer service is TERRIBLE!
I placed my order 2/5/19 and got the bill for almost $100 due to inflated over charges, did get that portion resolved and refunded credit. Today no delivery before noon which I paid for, no updates and 4 failed on-line chats due to being disconnected. Called customer service rep was very rude, and wasn't listening to me and stated her manager would call back and disconnected the call. So, no delivery on the order, no surprise for my honey and I am one angry bear right now.
I ordered a dozen berries along with the cheesecake for my wife just new she was going to love it. I even paid the extra money to make sure it got there before 12. Alot of good that did hell they never delivered it. Try to call and see whats going on with the order i had to spell my name 20 times and in the end all he could do was take off the morning delivery charge. Never again will i make this mistake guess its back to wall mart to get roses. I am now trying to get my money back
Ordered 6 strawberries and 10 cherries. The strawberries have been delivered but not the cherries! Why would they do that? Been on hold for 30 minutes! Wife still hasn't received the cherries and I need to speak with someone. Another example of no customer service this far! Won't be using them again and I'm writing radio personalities that endorse their product. If they provide excellent customer service I will redact my post.
Absolutely HORRIBE experience. I ordered flowers and strawberries for Valentine's Day from them and paid 20 dollars extra for delivery guaranteed by 12pm. 1:00 no delivery. I call and they say 25 minutes max. 3:00 no delivery. I call ups and they tell me the package is two states away! I call them back and they say sorry it'll be delivered by tomorrow. Well tomorrow isn't Cale for a day! I paid 120 dollars total for this. Absolutely do not order from them!
I have heard good things about Shari's Berries from friends and a few of their advertisements on podcasts. However, my experience did not align with my expectations and here's why: I expected to pay a premium for the goods and service as deliveries are guaranteed and perishables can be costly, at times.
So, imagine my surprise (this may be partially why I am so frustrated with the company) to find out A) shipping is $13.99 (not the cheapest, but hey they have to walk the stuff into the building on an every changing route) B) To deliver on Valentines Day is ANOTHER $9.99 (not thrilled, but likely the busiest day of the year, so I get it) C) ANOTHER $14.99 for GUARANTEED delivery by noon. So now we are looking at $38.97 FOR ONLY SHIPPING. My SO left me a nice Valentines Day set up to wake up to (NOTE: this is our FIRST Valentines Day together) and I was excited for her to receive my gift; so all morning I awaited a call or text, nothing. I attempt to check the delivery status; website won't process request regardless of ISP.
I call their service line (it seems they use walkie talkies to communicate because of the large amounts of static and inability of operators to hear or be heard) to sit on hold for 30 minutes only to be told "We are currently updating our system, please call back in an hour *click*". So now I have no way of confirming shipment without ruining the surprise. Low and behold 3pm and no delivery; so I call back (takes 4 attempts, seemed to be an issue with their phone system) sit on hold for another 30 minutes and finally get to speak to someone. I will say they provided me a full refund with no hassle, so that is the single good experience with them. Getting my money back.

Thank you for ruining Valentines Day! I spent 100.00 on a basket for my Husband. Not only did you not have the basket in stock (which you did not let me know), you sent him a 59.00 replacement gift hoping I wasn't going to find out. You were quick to take my money... You guys are awful! Never again will i recommend you. Bad way to do business...
I ordered something off their website to be delivered 2 weeks after. The day of the delivery arrived and I have no updates if the item has even been shipped. I called and emailed and tried to log in to my account and got no information. I keep getting kicked off of being on hold and I can't even access my account. This company is a scam, stay away. Doesn't even deserve 1 star. Also delivery charges are $15, steep for any service especially for NO service.
I wish I would have read the reviews first! I ordered 2 gifts for delivery on Valentines Day to Katy Texas, and they ended up in Waller. I did get a refund, but the customer service agent was about us cold as can be and offered no alternatives or consideration. In other words, she acted like she gives a lot of refunds. Avoid this company.
I spent the time reading through about 6 pages of unhappy partners whose sweetheart's didn't get their Valentine's Day orders. I have to say, it stings a little less to know you're not the only one. Mine's the same as everyone else's - dropped $$$ on guaranteed Feb 14th and morning delivery combined. Ordered Feb 6th - order hasn't even been shipped yet. Yikes, this company is in over their heads. Spent 1hr on hold, couldn't reach anyone. Sent an email 3 hrs ago and still nothing. Kind of just want my $100 back. Dropped another $100 on an arrangement from a florist that delivers locally. They are making the arrangement and delivering same day. Says a lot in comparison when you see the results of a poor vs. effective business model. More saddened reading these comments than anything else. Everybody is right - it's not about what it is, it's about the gesture. I could have ordered socks and as long as they show up for Valentine's Day, that's really the only part about it that matters. Luckily, I had back-ups for my back-ups but it's unfortunate to hear that's not the case for many. The company should have been honest about the volume of their orders and sent out notification emails accordingly so customers could make other arrangements. Doesn't look like the company is going to be able to save face after dropping the ball this badly.
As a business owner myself, I have always done my best to make sure my customers are happy and go the extra mile to do such. In good faith I was told that my order would show up on Valentines day BEFORE 12 noon. Well it's 3:22 and nothing has shown up. I called and they gave me some lame excuse and told me they were sorry and that my order would show up now on the 15th! I placed this order over a week ago and all they said was "I'm sorry" refunded me not for the order but for the shipping only! They also went in and changed the tracking info on UPS to show that a label was created today vs. an old tracking number that said the label was created yesterday the 13th. I went another step in calling UPS and they told me that my order had never been sent and told me the company more than likely did that just to "please me". This company has acted in bad faith and I will NEVER order from them again. They should be ashamed of themselves. BUYERS BEWARE!
My last order from Shari's Berries was a nightmare. Paid extra for a specific delivery date, didn't get the order at all. Now I'm trying to get my refund. I read how horrible the berries were on other reviews so I researched -- guess what I found? The original "Shari" hasn't been involved with this company for many years. She used to make fabulous HAND DIPPED chocolate berries, etc. but the ones you get now are small, tasteless and mushy, and they are machine-dipped. This company is owned and run now by Pro Flowers and it's a scam. If you want Shari's fabulous strawberries, go to Berriedinchocolate.com!
I paid over $40 for shipping to make sure I received my order this morning and on Valentines day. I didn't receive my order and my tracking info states that I'll have it tomorrow. Don't order from berries.com.
Ordered a Valentine's Day gift 2 weeks in advance. I signed up for text updates on the delivery. Never received any communication I called on Valentine's Day to check on the delivery and was told that there was a problem with the address and never delivered. The barely understandable operator told me I would receive a refund. Big Deal! Pathetic!
Answer: Because they f@ckimg suck, that's why. Once they get your money, piss off. They charged me 4 times for my order and never responded to any of my emails.
