Ordered an expensive birthday assortment of berries and even paid extra to have delivered the next day (the recipient's birthday). Recieved an email confirmation saying it would be delivered on their birth day. It's now almost 9 pm and nothing. Who wants to recieve their birthday present a day late? I will NEVER order from Sharies Berries again. I want a refund.

I decided to order Shari's Berries for the 1st time for my daughter's 30th birthday. Big mistake should have went with Edible Arrangements instead since they are a more reliable company. Shari's Berries canceled my order and did not notify me of such - I only found out when I called to see where the order was for my daughter's 30th birthday. So Shari's Berries ruined a very special birthday. To show how incompetent Shari's Berries is - I received an order confirmation by e-mail while I am on the phone and they are telling me my order had been cancelled days before.

I have had Shari's Berries for Valentine's Day; however, having them delivered in the summer in the south make for almost melted chocolate. They are shipped from CA and unless you are on the west coast or mid west the chocolate may not be as melted. The freezer pack was partially thawed but it is just too darn hot. Even if the chocolate wasn't melted I was disappointed in the size of at least half of my dozen order. Really only, 4, were "big". And the strawberries were sort of mushy. Many years ago and I do mean many, the quality was better and I would brag about them to co-workers who received their chocolate covered strawberries from Edible Arrangements that were small. Just disappointed in them but I sure ate them all by myself anyway---No sharing! Lol

Don't trust the website photos. They show an arrangement of beautiful red "hand dipped" strawberries. What was delivered was a box of machine dipped berries with no stems. Ugly and boring. When I inquired, the company rep told me that "The calyxes (green tops) are removed for sanitation reasons", and that "Each berry MAY arrive fully covered in chocolaty goodness". So embarrassed I gave these as a gift. Should have made my own.

Don't click confirm at the end of checkout without looking over everything. They'll post a promo then it disappears at checkout. Shipping prices are already ridiculously high and at check out it will go up yet again for no apparent reason. When you call customer service they will get an attitude and tell you if you dont agree with the price then don't buy it. I took her advice. I will never buy from Shari's Berries again. In all fairness the berries themselves, I'm told are amazing. However the price gouging and horrible customer service are not worth it. IMHO

If you use cashback add-ons, they never credit for Shari's Berries unless you pester Shari's Berries for months after the fact. They are rude then too... The products are already pricey. Add in the shipping, and it hurts to eat their chocolcate. There isn't enough chocolate to justify the hassle. I've been so dissatisfied I bought 25 pounds of Gittard chocolate and paid that shipping gladly and learned to make chocolate. I'm happier than a lark. You can melt the chocolate with some butter and milk, or cream and you toss in some peanuts, and it's fabulous. Or you can dip cookies or pretzels in it and let it set. Delicious. And you only make as much as you need.

Most shopping websites like Old Navy or Macy's show you the price through every page of the order. Not Shari's. There is no page where you can view the entire order before submitting the order. The next page is a confirmation page, but you have to scroll down to see the final price. I made the mistake of not scrolling down and hit the confirmation button. Then the next page shows the final price, after the order already went through. I cancelled the order after my bill went from $48 to $70, because I was unaware of the high shipping fee of $17.

Order was delivered and left at front door. The recipients were home and whomever delivered didn't ring doorbell and left. If I had not received a text that day from the recipient that made no mention of delivery, I would not have known to text back and ask them to look out the door. So much for a classy surprise at that expense. The delivery charge was extreme to not even ring the doorbell. It had been sitting outside for hours. I should have checked the reviews before I ordered as I usually do. Now I'm worried that the product is not good and afraid to ask. Totally embarrassed. I am not one to write bad reviews unless absolutely necessary.

I ordered a small chocolate cake and 1/2 dozen hand-dipped strawberries from Shari's Berries. I had the impression from the links I followed to their website that they were a company local to Phoenix, Arizona. The order included $52 for shipping, because it was a Saturday delivery. Even though both items were going to the same address, there were separate special charges for each. I didn't mind so much, it was for my mom's birthday and most importantly I wanted her to have a cake delivered. I checked the Shari's Berries website on Saturday and was pleased to see both items were listed as "delivered" - unfortunately, I did not check the tracking. The strawberries did get delivered, but the cake did not. It still wasn't there by late Sunday, and no one from Shari's Berries let me know. I contacted their online chat. They happily refunded my money. That was fine, but it could not make up for the opportunity I lost to bring a little joy into my mom's life. I would highly advice not ordering from this company. It seems to me they are out for the quick buck they can glean from all the people that don't pursue a refund. Shari deserves a kick in the berries!

Paid $135.00 for the small bake a wish vanilla birthday cake and 6 birthday dipped strawberries, order was around $65.00 the rest was shipping, I should have known better but wanted order to arrive for daughters birthday and it looked so good and pretty online! Was saposed to arrive on Saturday but I got an email saying no one was home and they'll try agin Monday! She was home so don't understand why they said no one was home and Monday was not her birthday it was Saturday, Cake and strawberries looked terrible green tops were brown & in the picture the chocolate on the berries are smooth and round not flat on the back! The cake looked like it had been frozen then thawed and frozen agin it had cracks. Spent so much on shipping just so sad that it looked so bad I was embarrassed when she sent pictures. I'll never order agin nor recommend!
