Wrong Occasion

Well, on April 14th I had berries ordered and delivered to my wife for her birthday. Someone tell me why her balloons said Happy Mothers Day instead of Happy Birthday? Did anybody there read the balloons before they walked out the door with them? April 14th is clearly not Mother's Day. Smh

As a valued customer of Shari's Berries for well over ten years, I have received dozens of strawberries from their company and have enjoyed them immensely. The taste of their white chocolate, the presentation, along with the sweetness and juiciness of the berry itself has always made me come back for more.

It's been a couple of years since I've ordered from Shari's Berries and told my husband I would like some for my birthday. He had a dozen of ‘white chocolate berries' delivered, along with beautiful roses and lilies from Flowers.com (through Shari's Berries), this past Friday in celebration of my birthday.
Immediately, thrilled to have Shari's Berries, I opened the dozen! I immediately noticed the presentation of the berries weren't as previously experienced. Their appearance reminded me of white chocolate dipped strawberries that I get from the food trucks in our neighborhood. They were not fully coated like the strawberries I used to receive from Shari's Berries. The backsides of the strawberries weren't fully covered as they were placed on a sheet to dry/harden after getting dipped in the white chocolate.

The strawberries were large in size, like normal, with Shari's Berries. However, they weren't sweet whatsoever. I'm not used to that with Shari's Berries. In fact, I always ordered from Shari's Berries because of the sweetness of the berries and the incredible taste of the white chocolate, followed by the beautiful presentation of the strawberries in general.

Upon their delivery, I noticed they weren't delivered the way I've always had them delivered before. Instead of receiving a shipment in the mail from California, packed on ice, the Shari's Berries box itself was delivered on the ground at my front door, while the driver rang the doorbell. This tells me that a local supplier working with Shari's Berries is the one who processed our order and the very reason why my berries weren't like they've always been previously.

I called Shari's Berries customer service to inquire about how you process orders now. If they're shipped from California or if they're made locally. The customer service rep said they are outsourced to the local area for freshness. Well, I always had freshness when they were shipped to me from California – along with sweetness, presentation, and the juiciness of the strawberries. Quality and taste now lacks greatly.

Please don't get me wrong, I ate my berries but certainly didn't enjoy them like I have for many years and many previous deliveries. Now that Shari's Berries has gone this route, I'll be searching for a different company which is very unfortunate. I have always been so loyal to Shari's Berries when it comes to ordering from a company. My advice is to order elsewhere for gourmet strawberries.

Horrible company, do not order

I ordered $400 worth of berry orders during the holidays. They were more than happy to take my order and my cc number. I called to complain about what was received. Some berries were rotten, small, NOTHING like the pictures! No response, or they would "claim" to give me a $15 coupon on my next order. NEXT ORDER! Nooooo! Save your $, always check reviews before ordering. I wish I had checked.

False advertising

I think the orders are rerouted through a 3rd party company for flowers and strawberries. What I received did NOT look like what I received. Strawberries: the way the fruit was dipped was not professional or pleasing to the eye, it was sooo much excessive chocolate that it no longer resembled the shape of a berry. The colors were not the same as pictured and neither was the sprinkles. I ordered 2 dozed, it was packaged nicely but the fruit also had 2 dried out berries, yuck! Flowers: the vas was flawless but the arrangement was NOT the same type of flower indicated on the site and the arrangement didn't include the smaller flowers to fill up the arrangement and offer color variety like what was posted on the site. I'm very disappointed with this experience and will order locally moving forward.

My order was NOT delivered or was a subsequent order after my first phone call inquiring why it had not been delivered when it said it had been! I was assured after the first phone call that another order would be sent on Sunday or Monday yet nothing was delivered! My family has been held hostage for 3 days waiting for the delivery! I just talked to another agent, the 3rd one, and was told she couldn't contact the delivery service only a voice message could be left. I wanted the phone number of the delivery service so my daughter could call them! The original order was made March 16th Ref.#W*******7660 to be delivered April 3rd and then remade April 3rd. Ref.#*******! After paying $104.09 for 2 dozen dipped berries, am I crazy or what?, I expect more reliable service! In previous years I ordered from Shari' Berries annually for both of my children's families. All had always gone smoothly until last year when my orders were delayed or left in front of a garage door rather than the front door and were eaten by animals! There is video to prove that! The berries that finally arrived on Tuesday the 6th, only 1 dozen, had brown stems and looked like a child had decorated them and were the size of a quarter! On Wednesday the 7th 2 dozen berries were delivered in the same condition! I do believe this is a definite example of "False Advertisement"! The berries depicted on the web sight look nothing like what was delivered! That all being said, I am very disappointed in the service, the berries and the inability to contact Shari's Berries and will refrain from ordering from them in the future!

I have ordered thousands of dollars worth of products on numerous websites and was trying to order berries to be shipped to Canada. The website charged me for the berries, but then told me they could not deliver them to Canada. This was the worst website I've ever used and the worst customer service ever! I gave 1 star only because minus stars were not allowed. 30 minutes on the website chatting with tech support was followed by 36 minutes on the phone trying to undo the screwup of the website & online chat support, and the result was having to repeatedly demand a refund. I will never use Shari's Berries again and implore you to stay away from them as well!

In the past, I have found the berries to be of high quality, but this experience was a nightmare. I won't be back.

Terrible

I ordered flowers with a little chocolate for a friends birthday. The flowers she received were nothing like the photo and no chocolates. I paid $79 of my hard earned money for this. Never again. Look at the photo. $79?

Don't Order - Horrible Customer Servcie

I wished I'd looked at online reviews before ordering. Berries not delivered on time but the next day and when they delivered only one of the two balloons that was to have been with the order was WITH the order. I did not want to go thru the 800 number AGAIN as communication was difficult at best with the person on the other end. I sent an Email to their customer service as well as a reply to the email saying it had been delivered. Never heard back form with Email and they did NOT bounce back. Wa stryign to give someone other than 1-880-flowers some business but it was abig mistake.

I as m not pleased with this company, I have had a problem the last three times I used them. Never had my gifts delivered on time. They took more money out of my account than my gift cost and then told me I could not talk to a supervisor and I would have to wait until someone calls me back from the service dept. I am still waiting. I will never use them again.

Terrible service
March 24, 2021

Ordered birthday berries and a balloon for my son a week prior to his birthday to make sure it arrived on his day. No such luck. Never arrived. Two days later, still waiting! Guessing the balloon will be deflated and the berries old with chocolate melted or worse. Will never order anything from them again.

Terrible delivery

I ordered these delicious looking berries for my 7 year old granddaughter. By 1:00 they had not been delivered. After contacting customer service I was informed delivery is 8am -8pm. If you need them delivered for an occasion they should be delivered during business hours. I do t recommend using them. Call a local business

My order # W*******2886, my product # *******M, a birthday gift, was made on 2/19/21 at 9:18 a.m.to be delivered on 2/25/21... Received email that it was shipped in the P.M. on 2/24/21, went to my town (Eastern part of state)?, and then to another town, Zelienople, PA. In the Western part of state?, arriving on the 25th. Sat there? And then was shipped to Pittsburg, PA. On the 26th... from there it was loaded for delivery to destination about an hours drive away. Shari's had 6 days to get this right. No explanation or apology from Shari's... They got the money, they're moving forward! Why should I use this gift and service again!

This is my 3rd year getting jerked around from this company, two years ago they sent the box but! No strawberries, huge mess in itself and they wouldn't even respond to my emails. Last year they looked and tasted horrible according to my wife also broken... This year I ordered on Jan 26th. I'm writing this on Feb 26th still no delivery on ones that are edible... My first order was a week late due to the weather which is totally understandable. They arrived all broken and moldy, we called and they said they couldn't do anything... eventually we got a new order or so we though to be delivered in two day... well 4 days later no delivery... another hr on the phone and the order was never placed... never again will I purchase from the disorganized company. Rant over, save your money.

My sherrys berrys orders

I ordered 3 dozen berries for family members. They did not look like the pictures. Not uniform in size, not uniform in decoration. Customer service said one thing but did something different. Still waiting for a supervisor to call me since Valentine's Day. Big disappointment after many hours waisted on phone and a few hundred dollars spent.

Failed Valentine

Paid extra to have delivery between 2/12 and 2/14. Didn't happen. 2/15 talked with them they guaranteed delivery by 8 pm... didn't happen. Talked with them again on 2/16 they told me they would deliver fresh delivery only to come back and say there were no strawberries (in California?) so they would give me a complete refund as well as email me a 20$ gift certificate! At this time 2/25 have not received a gift certificate and had to contact my credit company to challenge the charge that is still on my card. No refund! Absolutely pitiful.

Rotten strawberries

The flowers were great but the chocolate strawberries were 5 days late and rotten. When my wife opened the box to see one of her birthday presents, the smell was worse than a dump and it is still lingering after an hour. I cannot recommend Shari's Berries unless you enjoy the rotten smell and enjoy eating garbage. I have multiple photos if anyone is interested, Shari's Berries customer service was not.
