I received the chocolate covered strawberries as a gift for Valentines Day. The strawberries were a nice size, the packaging was perfect; however I feel that for the price of them, the chocolate should be a higher quality than they are. I received strawberries a few years ago and I didn't like them then either. I can buy better quality strawberries at my local grocery store and I do. I feel this is a rip off. I won't ever buy them again
I've ordered from this place for years and I have to say this has been one of the worst experience ever I ordered strawberries for my wife for Valentine's Day here it is the 19th and I still haven't received it and they're telling me it won't come till the 26 or 28
I have had to deal with these people going on 4 days to try an get my money return on a order that I was suppose to have on Monday. It's a joke! They tell you they gone call you back, never hear anything I have to call back an they still haven't done anything to return my money! An then finally start getting somewhere the lady goes to tell me someone has already credited me back only $20 out of the $77... I'm confused how that works how you credit someone back not even half the amount of what's changed an also not to mention is they would have told me back I would have been questioning why not the whole amount?! Trying to get over on somebody an it ant gone be me! I promise you I'll never order anything from this crooks again and if I know anyone that plans on ordering something from them I'll let them know right quick that best get whatever they need elsewhere!
Received berries (100$ worth!) soggy, chocolate cracked off and single ice bag melted. Multiple chocolate covered strawberry boxes. Called and they apologized, but put me on hold for 15 minutes, came back to send out another order for two weeks later delivery! Then we mysteriously got disconnected. Called back. Same thing, called back a third time and got a manager that refused to do anything?! What? Then they offered 50% refund. At this point I am 1 hour into a phone call, 100$ short because the product was not edible, and they only want to refund 50% when I was in the middle of ordering a second batch for two week delivery later... So Strange.
I demanded my money back at this point which I finally received.
Never again. Edible Arrangements! They dont use fedex to deliver and deliver themselves!
This Company is not ran by the same people it used to be now it shows up at 1800flowers.com, the service is terrible. I placed an order for Chocolate Covered Strawberries for my mom for Valentines Day and on the 17th of February I was informed that they were refunding my money because no one could fulfill the order. I was never told that up front or that there was a possibility that could happen. They charged me $64.93 but only want to give me credit for $49.94 which is the shipping, they are the ones that canceled the order not me and when I call they keep telling me that I wasn't billed for shipping that is was free and there is nothing else to refund. Thank goodness I paid on PayPal and have some help there because it plainly shows I paid $64.93 which includes $14.99 shipping and they only want to refund me $49.94 which is short the $14.99. When the company was actually ran by Shari's Berries they had great customer service and never a problem with ordering or receiving the order I have ordered many times. But be careful when ordering from this company now because it is not the same owners
My children could have done a better job on these. They were super tiny (bigger strawberries at Walmart) and I only received 1/2 of my order. When I called they sent out a new order but after waiting another WEEK for them to be delivered I decided to get a refund. They offered a 50% refund and a "gift card" like I will ever use it after dealing with this crap. Never using them again as I am so disappointed, sad also because we have been buying from them for years. They have lost a long time customer.
I've had positive experiences with this company in the past but not this time. I ordered 6 strawberries. When I purchased I accidentally added passport to the purchase. It didn't explain to me what that was and certainly did NOT tell me it would add like 20-30$ more to the price! It was really misleading how they snuck that in there. I tried to change my order details- no options. I called and got put on hold for a LONG time. When they finally answered the woman on the other end was very hard to hear (I could hear people goofing off in the background) and I told her all I wanted was to take the passport off. She put me on hold again for a long time before telling me that she can't remove it because I already used it on a purchase. So I said cancel the entire order and just give me a refund (I had literally JUST put in the order so it wouldn't have been a big deal). She tried to talk me out of it. I got put on hold again for another 10-15 minutes. Finally she called me back, I heard some gibberish, but I do remember clearly hearing I'd get a full refund. A few days later I get the berries... And no refund. So I spent 50+ $ on SIX berries (which weren't even good because it was the cheap option), they did NOT cancel my order like I asked and despite having this stupid passport thing now I will not be buying from here again. This is not ok. I'm not made of money. This is a special occasion thing for me. I don't take kindly to being robbed and lied to.
My husband orders Shari's Berries for me on Valentine's day the past four years. Valentine's 2020, the berries were small and sloppy. Definitely not as advertised. Valentine's 2021 he tried again (benefit of the doubt. Fluke maybe.) Bad idea. Berries were crushed, sloppy, and close to past edible. Customer service was no help at all. Don't waste your money on overpriced messy produce. We will NEVER purchase their products again. Very disappointing.
To begin with, I ordered a dozen chocolate covered strawberries from Cheryl's Cookies not knowing that they were coming from Shari's Berries. I had received this product from Shari's Berries in the past and wasn't satisfied with the taste and quality. After just reading other reviews, I completely agree that I would give a ZERO rating if able. First, they arrived late for Valentine's Day because the shipping route was NY to Indiana to Tennessee to Maine. When they finally arrived, they were all over the box, upside down, chocolate broken off and not fresh. My daughter was not impressed and couldn't even eat them. They won't refund your money, but would re-ship. Why in the world would I want that experience again? Also got no apologies! Their parent company, 1-800-Flowers, should close them down.
Husband order early so the berries would arrive by the 13 of Feb. They shipped on the 11th. Its the 16th.
We live in San Diego and the berries are from this state and it took 5 days. Major fail! The cold packing was no longer cold. Berries are on there way to dead.
When my husband called them on the 14th you get a call center with a standard speal. You can't use the bad weather BS when your in California and so are we. Doubtful we will order again.
Ordered Berries 18 days prior to Valentines. Asked for feb 13 but allowed flex delivery up to 14. Never received. Called 2 time on the 14 no help. Called 6 times on the 15th. I was hung up on twice. Informed I would receive a call back twice never called. Unable to speak with manager he was busy. They finally refunded my money. The worst experience I've ever had! I will never use Sharries Berries again and I will be your loudest advertiser for others not using you.
My fiance sent me these on Valentine's Day. They were received in very poor condition. Most were thrown away due to soft mushy brown berries and melted chocolate. Your site clearly states refund if not satisfied but when she tried to get the refund they only offered a 50% refund on a $71.00 Order. She had to argue and argue with them and still, 50% was all that was offered. They said they would send a reorder but she wanted her money not another chance of poorly shipped Berries. If you people advertise refunds on your site then you had t best state 50% or someone will report you for false advertising to the Federal Trade Commission.
Ordered berries and flowers. The flowers somehow arrived 4 days before the berries were supposed to. The berries, which were for Valentine's day, still haven't arrived. They said it was because of bad weather and offered me a $20 discount on my next order. There will not be a "next" order. Now they say they have resent the order and it should arrive 3 to 4 days AFTER Valentine's Day, Thanks alot. For a company that has invested in so much national advertising, it does not have its act together. I will never order from them again.
I ordered 3 orders for my wife and 2 daughters on valentines day, I got the wrong products and their customer service is a nightmare. My issues were never resolved. I'm just sorry I can't give them a zero. I'm posting what I ordered and what I received...
My husband placed an order for berries for me and paid extra to have it deliver on 2. 13. 21 to the place we were staying for the weekend. They never arrived and we've left that location to go back home. I contacted customer service and got disconnected three or four times. Had to keep calling back to try to get refund. The last couple people i spoke with said i can only get a partial refund and so i asked to talk to a supervisor and was told they would have to call me back. I have yet to receive a phone call back. Terrible customer service. Would not recommend ordering through them.
Shows up at almost 8 pm on Valentine's with a box of all different size chocolate smeared and the card made with a cardboard box piece wrote in sloppy pen. I could have made and wrote a card nicer. Refusing to give my money back. Hold for almost an hour. Representatives are horrible. Don't care about your safety or the safety of your family. Does not have any idea where or how the third party shops treat covid and will not guarantee your safety or health. Nothing is from this company every thing is out sourced to companies that are not taking any precautions from covid. Carb board note written in ink. Horrible writing and not even what I asked and not even spelled correct. All representatives do not care. So what if the company ruined Valentine's they do not care. Still on hold because Manager is rude. Asked to seal to get mgr. To be transferred to another rep that wasn't her manager. Do not order anything from this company. It's 1800 flowers and they are HORRIBLE.
THANKS AGAIN FOR RUINING VALENTINES. Three thrown away because strawberries were bad. Not even fresh fruit
Got the gourmet berries for Valentine's day and I got 12 strawberries that were slightly larger than normal but not as big as what you think they will be. They were wet from defrosting during shipping. The chocolate was hardened and at the same time wet also. For the 85 dollars total it took to get chocolate covered strawberries, it would have been better to just go to Kroger and get a lot more for less. In my opinion, not worth it.
Placed an order on February 3rd for Valentine's Day. Wasted entire day for delivery that never came.
Ordered Strawberries for Valentine's Day on January 25th. Did a live chat 2 days in a row asking where our shipment was. This person had no info nor had any desire to check any further. Here we sit on Valentine's Day at 8:30PM with no Strawberries and a chat telling me the weather is bad in our area, the weather is perfect, clear skies, clear roads no snow falling. This is the 2nd shipment that was delayed or not delivered, I should have learned. Customer Service is non existent.
Don't but them they lie about delivery time they don't have any information just take your money they need to be closed down,
Answer: Because they f@ckimg suck, that's why. Once they get your money, piss off. They charged me 4 times for my order and never responded to any of my emails.
