I buy a lot from Walmart and Overstock and Befrugal is the best at getting me the most cash back at these websites. I frequently check other cashback sites and Befrugal always beats the others.

A few days later I could not log in to my account and was told that they deactivated my account for violating terms and conditions. Customer service refused to provide more information on why and how I was violating their terms - simply put, they did not want to pay out the cash back so decided to close the account. What a scam! Shoppers avoid at all cause!

I use several cashback sites and have generally had no problems receiving cashback on purchases. With BeFrugal, at least 50% of my orders were never tracked and their customer service drags their "investigations" on for a long time hoping customers forget about the cashback. When you press them on it, they just deny the claim and said you must have done something wrong. Avoid this company! Even if other cashback places have lower rates, there is a much better chance you'll at least get something.
Update after their "response": Typical generic response I've received from their customer service people. What they can never seem to answer is why sites like eBates (and I use several others in addition) don't have nearly as many untracked and/or denied purchases. Their business practice is pretty simple... the answer to why you didn't receive your cash back is always that you did something wrong, something is wrong with your browser, etc. If that is truly the explanation that their tech is way behind because the other cashback sites have a small fraction of the issues BeFrugal does. I had an Expedia purchase that was supposed to have generated $50+ back. It sat being "investigated" by them for an entire year. Believe me, they try to keep every last cent if at all possible. Use other more reputable sites.

I used this a few months ago for a T-Mobile phone purchase thinking 'what the heck?'... I just went ahead after logging in to cash out my reward money worth $40 for that 1 transaction... not bad at all!

Have used befrugal now for a few years. They seem to be the up and comer lately with cashback. They have a few hard to find deals that most other competitors don't both with, for instance LocalFlavor. They track cashbacks very well.
I will certainly continue using them in the future.
Be Frugal has proven to be a very reliable program for getting cash back for my online purchases. They pay quickly and have several options for requesting your funds.
My only problem is that I sometimes forget to go through BeFrugal site. I love the checks that keep coming when I remember.

Compare the rates and if Ebates has the better rate, go with them even if it is slightly less. You have a better chance of getting your credit. Befrugal will sometimes deny good purchases. Ebates is more lenient. But they are ok overall.
BeFrugal advertised better cashback rates than eBates so gave them a try with a Holiday Inn hotel stay booking. A month later, no cashback, so I contact customer support, which just responded by saying disputes are not allowed. Had I gone with eBates, this would have been cashback worth hundreds of dollars! Never using BeFrugal again. Stay away from this site!
Hi there, I'm sorry to hear this. One thing to note is that, per Holiday Inn's terms, cash back payments are distributed 30-60 days after a completed stay.
Secondly, when you say "disputes are not allowed" you may be referencing the following Holiday Inn terms: "At time of booking, you should see a reservation record posted, showing no cash back. If the reservation record is not found within your account after 7 days, the booking did not track through the BeFrugal, and IHG will not be awarding cash back. We cannot submit disputes in this scenario." This is an IHG/Holiday Inn policy, and one that we don't have any control over. If there are any other questions, our customer support team would be happy to speak with you.
