Denied on 4 different occassions with verizonwireless. Followed all rules. Denied even after subitting cases.
It is a hit or miss. If it is a miss, don't bother with customer service cause it will just be a blame game shielded by generic post about their ToS. Plus, most responses are just copy paste scripts anyway too.
You always get great deals and extra cash! The products on be frugal are usually discounted to the max and are shipped quickly then you get cash on top! Lots of choices on soooo many products
I tried to withdraw my referral bonus but didn't get through until I checked after several months. After opeing a case with them, they said I have a duplicate acccount and they didn't want to hornor the referral bonus. I tried to explan and swear that I never have another account but they just decativated my account without lisenting to me. I don't care about the referral bonus but I did earn a lot cash back in the past months and during Black Friday. They didn't even let me withdraw it. These are sort of lying and robbery actions.
I would probably use BeFrugal more than Rakuten if you could search by the product. Their product search shows what each store will offer in cash back based on the rate, so I can pick and chose what store I want to buy the product from. Also, the website and app could use a re-design as its not as Wordpress-y as it could be. Rakuten does not match cash back but BeFrugal does so I appreciate that perk. Overall, I am pleased with my experience but realize I am probably missing cash back for some previous items but did not record the rate at which I should've been paid. Therefore, I will be starting to take more detailed notes (in the BeFrugal site) on the expected cash back rate as well as what the competitors rates were that day so if and when an amount is incorrect or missing, I can contact Customer Support to request they at least match the competitiors rate from that purchase day.
As of 11/29/20, I have made $680 back since 2016 with Rakuten and $94 back since 2019 from BeFrugal.
I also use Smarty, CouponCabin, AAdvantage eShopping, RetailMeNot as well as InvistibleHand extension to make sure I find the best deal which factoring in the expected cash back.
Basically Be Frugal gets companys to pay them to be on their site. Then when a customer uses befrugal to go to the vendors site ( aka walmart, home depot, cvs, etc) the vendor agrees to pay a rebate ( a percentage of your sale) to you the customer. The problem is that if something is off for whatever reason, or the vendor refuses to pay, be frugal doesn't pay the customer the percentage. They claim, no accountability, and respond in endless emails, but at the end of the day, THE CUSTOMER LOSES! I can't believe there isn't a class action law suit against this company. Were only talking penny to maybe a dollar sometimes, and they don't step up and make good. Here is 1 small example:. I did pictures through cvs. I proved the trans id to befrugal, i had a copy of the receipt from cvs, it was pictures (reprints). They 1st try to say it is your fault, which i proved was wrong with befrugals tracking id #, then it was saying cvs 's refusal, but no explanation why. It is basically bait and switch. What they are doing is against the law, but i don't have the money to take them to court just to prove a point. They get there money, but don't fight to get your money. NO ACCOUNTIBILITY on ther part. Hope this helps others.
My experience with Befrugal has been awesome. I have been doing cash back for years now with Befrugal and they are one of my favorites. They are always accurate in my accounting, they fund it right away when I ask and for the right amount. I've read the negative reviews and it just has not been my experience. As long as you go through Befrugal site first to get to the shopping website, Befrugal has always credited me.
I work hard for my money. It's nice to receive the best deals, as I spend it! I just got $30 back for the year. It's super better than nothing at all!
I totally didnt expect this to give me cash back. Just installed the plug in and did my own business after a while I have seen massive cash back in my account.
Have had 0 issues with BeFugal so far. Payments issues on Amazon gift cards have gone through without a problem.
It's so worth it. I also use Rakuten. I love getting cash back. I requested a Visa gift card and because it's almost Christmas, I will use my gift card as a gift for someone else. It's a Win Win. :)

Cashback is missing most of the time and you always need to submit an inquiry to ask for your money. With my experience half of inquiries were denied by stores even you did activate BeFrugal while purchasing stuff.
Excellent way to get some added cashola on purchases you're going to make anyway. Was happy to see that even though I hadn't used my account in over 6 months - my money was still available for payment.
Great to have my payment sent to me via VENMO, no waiting for a check to be mailed. The most cash back offered for most websites.

They said money would be released after 30 day. Never released my cash back. Just keep getting automated messages from company saying why they can't release it.
I like it when i get my cash back, it gives me the motivation to keep earning while i shop! So far my cash back earnings have been consisted and on time.
It took me about 3 months to get the cash back as payable. It works as advertise. I highly recommend.
