Writing from the US. I waited well over a month (like others) to receive my package. That alone sucked since I paid for shipping, but whatever. The real issue was with their packaging. Just some paper and a thin piece of bubble wrap around 1 of the palettes? All left to jostle around the box being shipped internationally? I ordered 3 palettes and 1 eyeshadow primer. Only 2 of the palettes were usable. The 3rd palette had a completely smashed case, causing the top to no long stay on. 1 of the eyeshadows was smashed. They offered me a 30% refund. HAH, ok for a compact I cannot store or travel with. The eyelid primer stick lid was totally smashed, and the stick covered in the eyeshadow that has leaked from the palette. Completely unusable. They offered me a 10% discount.

I refused the pathetic discounts and they offered me a full discount if I sent the broken items back. I've never dealt with a company that would request that. They should refund the items and then just let me toss them. But no, I have to now repackage the items, go to UPS, pay for shipping, and then send them a receipt so they can reimburse me for shipping. HAHAHA. Are you kidding me!? THIS IS THE JANKIEST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. DO NOT TOUCH IT WITH A 20 FOOT POLE.

I got my items

No idea why it's got so many negative reviews. I got my shampoo and conditioner from there since it was the only place selling it. Didn't pay for express shipping but didn't mind waiting for standard shipment times which I think was fair.

Overall a fine experience, would buy again.

I ordered some Ordinary products twice before, but on my third order (when the products came available - you have about a five minute window before they go again every day), my order was placed OK, but sometime afterwards, I received an email saying only ONE item was coming out of FOUR I had ordered and had confirmed were on their way at the time I purchased... that item was LESS than the shipping cost! Why would I just order one tiny bottle and pay that amount for shipping? It's unacceptable to tell people AFTER the order is placed that 75% of what they thought they purchased is not coming and then have the gall to still ship whatever is left (and still charging expensive shipping). Yes, I received a refund for the non-shipped products, but never again will I shop with this dodgy crowd. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

I started shopping on beautybay on 2018, the products always arrived so late in morocco. Starting march I have made an order and didn't receive it, I got a refund for that. Then again I was like it s ok, maybe it s because of the COVID 19 (knowing I purchased from other platforms in other countries and received my order during lockdown so early), I made another purchase and paid express shipping because I need it as soon as possible. It's over 24 days and I have received nothing for the second time in a row, I did send them an email after 10 days of not receiving the products, they answered and mentioned once I will receive my products I will receive a refund for the express shipping, but now after 24 days, this is just unacceptable especially as I paid extra to avoid this issue and I sent a request for a full refund! This will be the last time I shop for there, literally the worst out of all the platforms I shop in. If they have issues with the shipping company they work with for international delivery, they should fix it, until then, not shopping there at all!

Bought a pallet and it is being held by customs I went to beauty bay n found out I will have to pay a 2nd time to get it released for taxes they didnt pay dont buy they will screw you over find a U.S. saller

I ordered a palette from this website 3 days ago and it arrived today even though I didn't pay for express delivery. Free delivery, arrived quickly and the palette is great so I'm confused by the negative reviews. Maybe I just got lucky with this company but I would order from them again.

Have been waiting nearly 3 months for my package. Have tried to reach out to their customer service several times and have not received reply. I live in Australia and am very patient and understanding especially with all that is happening in the world, but I think what makes it worse is their lack of communication. I work in customer service and I find most people are ok with inconvenience if they are reached out to and empathised with. Really poor quality service with Beauty Bay. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER WITH THIS COMPANY!

I placed an order on the 9th of May with tracked delivery, my friend also placed hers the day after. Despite both of us having identical tracking times she received hers 2 weeks ago and I'm still waiting. I contacted support 10 days ago who until today has given me NO ANSWERS, just 'closed off by their system', haha who in their right mind would display that message to their customers. They also make it very difficult to get in touch with their automated responses, conveniently blaming COVID for their LACK OF SERVICE. Looks like they are not very keen on giving refunds either. If you send them an email claiming your right to a refund cause you haven't received anything, you will be ignored! Find your products from another retailer and don't RISK wasting your precious money on this website, looks legit but IT'S NOT and you'll be in for a huge surprise if you need them.

I ordered from beautybay for the first time ever on may 5,2020. I was having trouble finding my products on other sites (for example cult beauty and sephora) because they were out of stock for long periods of time. When i saw everything i wanted was on beautybay, i ordered ASAP! When delivery was taking longer than expected (i got the saver untracked international shipping) i started to worry and googled delivery reviews. Of course these reviewers were horrible & alarming. I thought i got scammed. However it is now may 30th 2020 and my package arrived! The product that comes in a glass container is even wrapped tightly in bubble wrap to prevent damage. For reference, i ordered to canada. So, my experience summed up is: took longer to deliver than it said it would, but other than that, the experience is perfect! Leaving this here for any canadian viewers debating on whether or not this site is reliable :)

I ordered my things about a month and a half ago, I was worried when I read these reviews, but once I really considered I got scammed, a few days later my box came! Packaging was great so nothing leaked (some reviews mentioned that). I never really got solid updates on my package which worried me, but nevertheless I got it, and it looks legit. I hope everyone gets as lucky as me and gets their package(s).

I placed an order ten minutes ago and they were not able to cancel it. Really?
I don't place orders overseas.
The way they handle their customers it's totally UNACCEPTABLE and I'll make sure social media and the platforms are well aware that their Customer Satisfaction Standards can't be lower. Shame on you beautybay

I will never order anything from Beauty Bay again. I ordered on April 14th. It is now May 19th, still haven't received my order. I have tried multiple times to contact them, always an automated email in response. Nothing from them. They are nothing but crooks. Never buy from them!

I placed an order for 7 items on March 25, Here it is May 15 th and I still haven't received anything. Website shows "Order Despatched" on March 27 and then on May 1st "Closed by System". Fantastic. I emailed through the website for an order update and they sent me back a cut and paste auto-response with no information and no recourse. I filed a chargeback, they didn't send me a refund too, they reply with an email after 3-4 days or sometimes 5 days, with automatic response that consult your local postal service, WTF, what are they going to do if they haven't received anything, I wasted my Money on this $#*!TY COMPANY, this company is UTTER TRASH
Tip for consumers: Just don't use them

I AM SERIOUSLY DISGUSTED BY THIS COMPANY AND CANT BELIEVE THIS IS THEIR PRACTISE.

I ORDERED TEN ITEMS IN WHICH ONLY ONE HAD BEEN DELIVERED. AS RECOMMENDED BY TRADING STANDARDS, A COMPANY SHOULD TAKE RESPONSIBILITY IF THE CUSTOMER SPENDS MONEY BUT DOES NOT RECEIVE THEIR ITEMS. ON THIS OCCASION, BEAUTY BAY HAS FAILED! IT HAS BEEN NEARLY TWO WEEKS THAT MY HERMES COURIER STOLE MY TEN ITEMS AND DELIVERED ONLY ONE, CHUCKED IT TO MY DOORSTEP. THEY HAVE TAKEN FULL ADVANTAGE OF THE CURRENT COVID-19 SITUATION BY STATING THAT NOTHING CAN BE SIGNED DUE TO THE PANDEMIC! I WAS LEFT COMPLETELY HELPLESS AS I HAD OPENED THE DOOR STRAIGHT AWAY TO AN EMPTY PACKAGE BUT COULDN'T DO ANYTHING! AND I AM TRULY DISGUSTED. I LET BEAUTY BAY KNOW THAT AFTER SPENDING £50 ON MY ITEMS, I HAVE RECEIVED NOTHING. WITH PROOF SUCH AS CCT FOOTAGE AND THE PICTURES OF THE DAMAGED ITEM! AND I HAVE GOT NO RESPONSE OR REASSURANCE THAT I WILL GET MY MONEY BACK. THIEVERY AT ITS FINEST DURING SUCH A HORRIBLE TIME! I WILL CONTINUE TO OPEN THIS CASE UNTILI GET MY MONEY BACK. I WILL NOT ALLOW THIEVERY TO HAPPEN AS SUCH.! DEFINITELY LOST A CUSTOMER AND I WILL BE SPREADING THE WORD NOT TO BUY OR USE THIS COMPANY OR HERMES COURIER!

I have ordered twice the same order due to their web site causing issue. SO two same orders have been placed. It was not possible to cancel the second order, as I heard from them so we agree that I should send it back and get a refund for the parcel but also the shipping costs.
After contacting their customer service I returned the second order, I received a refund for the products but not for the shipping costs, 18 EUROS!

This story goes on since February now, every week same reply, the accounts dept will take care of it.
Never going to order again, despite good products form their own brand and wide range of products.

First of all I am from Europe. I ordered a couple of things from beauty bay 3 weeks ago and they arrived today. I must say that delivery time to my country was about 10 days according to the website and it took 12 days to deliver the products which I understand, given the whole pandemic situation. I was pretty satisfied with delivery time, HOWEVER their customer service regarding delivery issues is non existent. This might be a problem for some people whose orders are delayed. Also the packaging wasn't very protective (my products were fine though). Its a relatively soft cardboard box with the products wrapped in paper inside.
I have bought online from many websites and I have come across much better delivery services (asos, sports direct etc.) so I am putting a 3 star review here.

So 2. Almost 3 months ago I ordered 2 packages from The Ordinary and only 1 came in. I get it, corona is making things slow down but where is the second package? They didn't give tracking or anything. I contacted them 3 times and they didn't do anything to help. The first was an automated message via email, and the other 2 were two women on Twitter telling me they have no clue where my package is lol. Please don't order here... literally anywhere else is better. I don't even think they give refunds. I reordered the product from Ulta Beauty. Ah yes also my package was "closed by system", we love to see it.

What's hella creepy is Beauty Bay deletes any negative comments. There's this site that has 82,000 reviews, and it has 4.8/5 stars but I stg, it had like 2/5 stars last month. All the comments sound robotic lmao, they don't even say what package they get. Pls don't get scammed. Have a lovely day y'all <3
