Speaking as an Australian consumer, my biggest peeve with this company would have to be the standard in which Beauty Bay packs their deliveries. I can only speak on my own experiences, but I would be very grateful to, for once, receive a package that hasn't been horribly damaged during it's commute. I understand that there is not much a company can do for a package once it's left the warehouse, but measures such as: wrapping fragile glass items in hex wrap, or using packaging filler to fill empty spaces in the shipping box -- would go a long way in providing added protection to the packages being sent out.
Going by all the horror stories here, it feels like I've been incredibly lucky, but I ordered a handful of times from them and I'm over the moon so far.
Even though they ship from the UK to my EU-country the delivery time is very reasonable every time: between 5 to 10 days. Contacted the customer service on 2 occasions and received a helpful reply within 2-3 days, so that's OK too.
Throw in their selection of make up that I have a hard time finding anywhere else and their insanely good eyeshadow formula (price vs quality unmatched) and I'm a very happy customer.
Nice little bonus: very often there's set-deals, free gifts or discounts.
Order took months to arrive was told they were changing warehouse and given a discount code.
Took them at their word and ordered again on the 28th September, still no order and am being told some system is down. Need to be reported to trading standards... total joke of a company. Don't waste your time and order elsewhere, hopefully you will get the makeup you paid for...

I wish to give zero score and a massive thumbs down to this company. Happy to take your money but drag their feet to issue a refund. Purchase at your own risk! As it will be a lucky dip if you receive what you ordered, and for it to be not faulty.
I purchased two HairBurst vitamins in the sale. One box was opened. The second did not come in a box, the seal was opened, and the barcode had been relabelled; therefore old stock.
Emailed with photographs straight away upon receiving my order. I was told I would be issued 10% refund for one, and a full refund for second which arrived opened. Please allow 10 working days, even though the transaction was with PayPal which should only take no more than 48 hours to be processed FYI!
Nothing was processed to date after numerous emails.
Never received my package. It was not a huge order but it never arrived. They insisted it did, Item was $17 and I have reported no receipt of goods to PayPal. They have been great but I receive a note from a Jack everyday telling me I received it. Never offered me a replacement, Just a continual filling out of papers and insisting I received it. It could have been stolen from my front door but doubtful. Anyway, I never got my item and they are being difficult. DO NOT buy from them No guarantee you will get your item!
I'm really surprised there are so many bad reviews here for Beauty Bay! I love this shop and so far I've not had any issues with them. One thing I really like about them is that there are information articles on there too and when looking to buy something on the product page they often have a link to more info on the product or how to use it or why it's such a popular item, sometimes there's a link to say here's other products similar that you may like. There is a good range of products from lots of great brands and I think the cost seems good. Maybe I haven't had problems because I'm in uk idk but some reviews about shipping problems etc are not in uk so maybe it is that? So far I honestly have had no problems at all.
Ho effettuato l'ordine 1MRC-I8H9-SLX1-L il 2 agosto in largo anticipo per il compleanno di mia figlia. Ad oggi 14/08/2022 so solamente che il mio pacco è stato spedito ma non mi è stato fornito un tracking valido, ovvero ho un tracking che si attiverà solamente una volta che il pacco sarà arrivato a Bolzano (se mai ci arriverà). Specifico che ho pagato 4.50€ di spedizione "tracciata". Ho contattato il servizio clienti ma dopo giorni di attesa mi è stato risposto che loro non hanno un tracking valido al momento e non possono capire dove sia la mia spedizione, ma che se vorrò quando questa sarà in italia (se mai ci arriverà) potrò personalmente contattare il mio corriere. Il servizio clienti afferma, inoltre, che solamente dopo 7 giorni lavorativi dalla spedizione (al momento siamo "solo"al quarto), forse inizieranno a fare qualcosa! Ma ci rendiamo conto? Di che utilità mi è stata questa risposta? Dove mi è stata concretamente fornita assistenza? Per fortuna ho pagato con paypal (cosa che consiglio di fare a tutti), perchè è una lotteria continua con questo sito e ho aperto una disputa. Non penso di acquistare in futuro!
I absolutely love Beauty Bay. Not only are their products very affordable, but their branded products (specifically their eye shadows), are out of this world good. The products they sell for a very decent price. The only complaint I might have is the time it takes to get to you. It took almost two weeks to get to me in the US, but I get that they're shipping from the UK.
Paid for next day delivery, after eight days still have not received my haul. Contacted customer service 3 days ago, still no reply.
So disappointed with my first time ordering from this company, item was a gift so ordered next day delivery and purchased a gift box, when it arrived part of the set was missing, after going back and forth with emails they eventually said I could have a partial refund on the set, no explanation as to what had happened or why they couldn't just send the replacement item and no refund of the fast delivery fee which was pointless, really poor customer service, would not recommend them.
Shipping took its sweet time and even when I finally received my package, they sent me two of the same eyeshadow palettes when I was supposed to get two different ones. Don't be deceived by the clean/professional/trust-worthy looking website, you'll have a much better time just ordering from Ulta or something. Don't waste your time. Thankfully I got a deal, so my order was only $23 so I didn't waste extra money on this website. If you want something cheap and you're okay with risking all of these things like prolonged shipping w/ very little updates, possibly receiving the wrong product, fighting w/ customer service, etc. then sure, go for it, I guess. Just don't be surprised if you end up regretting it.
You can see why they've disabled Google reviews. Fake promotional offers (I can't imagine that the way they conduct fake offers is legal). Terrible customer service that mess with orders instead of replying to queries about it. The delivery times are false, orders won't even be dispatched in that time. If something goes wrong with your order, there's basically no customer service that will engage with you past the initial generic repsonse (see photo).
Been arguing with customer service for about 2 months over 2 packages I told them to cancel. They were still delivered and was instructed to refuse them to be sent back. I did and they still won't give me a refund or acknowledge that I don't have the packages anymore. Now I have to dispute this with my credit union since the company won't do anything but argue with me
Worse customer service! I have been waiting for my haul since April - 3 months. I asked for a refund and they sent me an email stating a refund has been refunded wait 5-10 days. After those 5-10 days i asked again what happened and they said today we refunded your money wait 5-10 days. Im still with no refund! And when i sent them two emails cause they weren't replying they told me Please do not write many emails because the team got confused. It's really a shame! First i made an order and it never arrived. Then they said we do not know what happened and they advised me to order again. I kindly asked if they knew where my order was or when i will get it cause I didn't have any updates on the tracking but they didn't reply with an answer. Now i am still without my order and without my refund 3 months later. Mind you, both orders got sent back to them so I don't know what they are waiting for! Normally a refund gets in my account 1-2 days after. Shame Beauty Bay! Don't bother ordering from here.
Worst experience ever - item not delivered, despite MANY emails to customer service, zero response. AVOID.
I ordered few items on May 16, till May 29 there was no tracking update after dispatch (order to India). After waiting for 2 weeks I accidently saw by tracking that the status has changed to Returned to the sender. I wasn't contacted by a carrier company or customs, the overall price of the order didn't require any fees. BeautyBay's customer support offered me a refund and is unable to send my order back, I have to reorder items. But since it was monthly beauty box, I'm not able to order it anymore so I'm left with nothing.
Awful customer service, not once but twice they cancelled my order without notification. Only after emailing to inquire about the status of my order did they tell me.

I ordered a pair of expensive curling irons from beauty bay however when they arrived I discover that they had sent me a less expensive similar looking pair in the box which contained the manual/ instructions of the more expensive curling irons that I had ordered and paid for!
I immediately contacted their customer service team requesting that they send me the ones that they had taken payment for!
They continued to decline even though this was quite clearly fraud on their part! And it was only after seeking legal advice that they finally agreed to exchange them for the ones that I should of received! Unfortunately my correct order did not arrive on time and I returned them requesting a full refund Which I have still not received to day!
I continue to send them countless emails requesting my refund getting the same response of it could take up to 14 days! Even though 14 days has lapsed!

Wrong shade received in Texas from a box shipped from Florida but they asked for a video of item and photos and then fir me to pay for a return to the UK not Florida where it was sent to me from. The worst customer service ever and since I'm disabled and do t drive I rely on great deliveries and topnotch customer service and they fail big time with both.
Answer: Yes, they supplied cookie cuter replies, they don't read customer questions
