I start by saying that I have been ordering from Beauty Bay for years and only in the last few months have I placed 3 orders each for more than €100... so it's not that I spend little with them... this time the package arrives: 1 palette missing, 1 palette broken, 1 product already open and perhaps used (compact powder LH can't be seen very well but it seems already tried on. However, it is clear that it has been opened because it arrives with the sealing tape, one cut and the other open and half torn!). I'll send the photos and complaint to Beauty Bay right away. Their solution is: either send everything back with the post office (not courier) and wait at least 21 days and then if it gets lost or broken and something else happens it's your fault and they won't refund you (plus it says what things you used or opened they don't refund - since one of my products had already arrived used they wouldn't refund it for sure!). Of course, at this point I prefer another solution which for them is 100% reimbursement for the missing palette but only 40% for the product that arrived open/used/no longer hygienic (!) and 40% reimbursement for the Palette with some broken/shattered eyeshadows! In the end I pay 60% of the price for things that aren't new or whole even though I'm not at fault and then we're talking about branded items so for an already used powder that is no longer hygienic I'll pay around €17! Are we kidding? Definitely for me this is bad service and I will not order again. It has never happened to me that they make mistakes and I pay for their mistakes.

Do not buy from this site. I ordered the products on 21/3 and spent over 100 euro. I choose the option for the fastest delivery and I still haven't received the package. According to the tracking the package did custom cleareance in Italy but then it was shipped to the Netherlands where it did custom clearance again. It hasn't moved from there. I contacted numerous times the custom service to have a refund but they keep saying that I should wait and that they are checking. They are completely unprofessional and they did nothing to solve the problem. I lost over 100 euro.

NO START! BUT THERE IS NO OPTION FOR NOT CLICKING THE STAR

I am so dissatisfied with this Beauty Bay! I thought this app was good! I ordered on April 11 2023 and until now April 26 I haven't received the product that I ordered it's just 2 products! I tried so many times sending an email regarding to my follow-up orders and yet no reply! I posted to Twitter and they just reply me to send an email or DM on their twitter *******@beautybayhelp I did DM but still no response and when I opened it it says l can no longer send a message to them. Btw I use my 2 emails to inquire and yet no reply Proof attached bellow on this feedback

Scammed by Beauty Bay

Scammed by this website. Ordered a Sauna Blanked for £431.20 and a cloth insert for £79.20 Sadly the sauna blanket was faulty, so contacted beauty bay who sent a return shipping label. Good? Nope... Once they received the shipment back they only refunded the £79.20 and have not replied to any emails or live chat requests since... Notice there is no phone number for customer support if you want another red flag. I've had to contact Amex to do a chargeback. Such a shame. Order Number VQUZ-7VPM-BZFC-N

Absolute scam
March 22, 2023

Would leave no stars if I could. Ordered Saturday for next day delivery (mother's day) and it's still hasn't arrived it's now Wednesday. Company claims they're looking into it. I've explained I don't want the product now it was meant to be a mother's day gift. Apparently nothing they can do at this point. Stay well clear of this scam company

The worst online shopping I ever had.

The worst online shopping I ever had. I ordered sth and couldn't cancel it after 30 minute because the order transferred to warehouse. But when I returned the order it took 45 days to refund and they didn't know the exact amount and what did I returned. They refunded in 2 times after 50 emails.
They didn't apology also.

Horrible customer service!

I ordered makeup and beauty products for my daughter, I got one of the products the next day and thought the rest would arrive a day or two later, then when I saw that nothing was arriving I contacted them and they replied that if I hadn't taken a picture of the package I wasn't allowed to claim anything "per their policy"! Dreadful company, horrible customer service… I had never seen this in the UK before!

Placed order for my daughter for Chrismas. Asked for order to be delivered to my local COOP. Never received confirmation EMAIL. Decided to check at my local COOP to see if my order had been delivered on the off chance to be told they hadn't got my order. (I have stuff delivered there all the time never had a problem) thought it strange but as it was Christmas assumed that my order must be delayed and id get confirmation soon. Christmas came and went so I contacted Beauty Bay to query where my order is on 31st December. Its taken 3 months of back and forth Emails to be told tough you haven't received your goods and no you can't have your money back. I've attached the EMAILits all there in black and white, I'm now £40 out of pocket.

Absolute scammers and thieves

Beauty Bay currently have more than £800 of my money that they took for orders that they cancelled immediately (refusing to provide any explanation whatsoever) and that I placed again using alternative methods of payment before I realised that they were being dishonest. They took it last week and told me that I will need to wait up to 2 weeks for a refund. There is no option to speak to anyone on the phone and their customer services email just provides the same $#*! about being sorry for the disappointment and allowing up to 10 working days to receive a refund. This is absolutely unacceptable when they've taken nearly a thousand pounds for a product that never even left their warehouse.

Extremely unprofessional

I am in the United States and ordered from Beauty Bay for the first time November 28,2022. I did receive an email that stated "your haul is on its way" on Dec 1st. I waited and waited and waited…. I tried to blame it on the holidays that it was taking so long. Finally in the beginning of January I reached out via email, Instagram messaging, anywhere I could. They would never get back to me. Just an automated message that states they would respond within 24 hours, but never did. Another email I sent a week later, got a message back and stated it would take 8 days for a response. I waited. I would track my shipment using the haul finder gadget on their website and every time it would say something like my order was still being processed and their facility. So it never shipped? Even though I got an email saying it did? Finally on January 30,2023, now over 2 months since placing my order I comment on an Instagram post demanding they get back to me about an order that I never received (but paid for)! Almost immediately I received an email from them saying I will be getting a refund. Okay…. I just wanted my order but sure I guess if I'm not getting that then I will take my money back. I did in fact get my money back. But I will never order from them again!

My order was charged on December 14, but never received. I tried to contact customers service, they have a message about responding in 8 days. Well, they don't. 3 emails (after 8 days), no reply. Had to order again from another website. Beware

Horrible customer service, I placed an order for a Foreo gift set about more than a month ago, they bungled up my package and the delivered box had wrong items so I got in touch with their customer service ( btw they don't have direct contact on call service and their chat bot is utterly useless, only way to contact is via email which takes weeks on weeks for them to check and reply) I waited patiently and got this order refunded but the customer service rep suggested that I should place another order and I fell for it thinking the initial mistake was a one off. The second order I placed included a few more items, upon opening the second delivery I found yet another wrong item and some items missing from my order. I have been desperately trying to contact the customer service for a month now, left multiple emails and messages with chat bot which led nowhere. I am still waiting for a response which doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon. I spent $400 AUD and they bungled up my order once again. Do not order from this website they are duping customers.

Beauty Bay owes me £114 and is RADIO SILENT

Well, if you've been following the saga...you know that I had a faulty item that I returned to Beauty Bay via their free returns, after they viewed video of the fault, via an email that had all the instructions to return the item via Evri.

Instructions followed, click here, put this number in, get a label, send it back...which I did but, in a nutshell, either Evri or inPost have lost the parcel...I am still working on it from that angle BUT when I contacted Beauty Bay to say have you received the parcel, I got a standard issue reply and when I sent them a message back saying it appeared to be lost, all went RADIO SILENT. So much for their, we'll be back in touch within 24 hours - meh. There is NOT a single way to speak to ANYONE at Beauty Bay (just like Evri, annoyingly enough) and so to the faint hearted, it would appear a dead end and no recourse.

In the end, in desperation, I called Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) and told them what happened...here's where it gets INTERESTING...

It would transpire that, on the basis of the communication from Beauty Bay asking me to return the faulty item, it IS THEIR PROBLEM. And, on the basis of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I am entitled to a full refund within 14 days of THEIR EMAIL. This radio silent business now explained and there's been no refund, as of yet.

CAB instructed me to email Beauty Bay and inform them of my rights, set a deadline for them to respond and confirm the refund OR I should go to my credit card company because under the Consumer Credit Act of 1974, section 75, the credit card company MUST act on my behalf and refund me based upon what has transpired. Tomorrow close of business is the deadline I set but considering that Beauty Bay's automatic email says they will be back in touch in 24 hours and it's been 48 hours...

The conclusion is this: All I have to say is that CAB is fantastic and were really helpful. I would also say that any company that does not have live humans to talk to about a problem with a product or service is worth boycotting and I will NEVER buy anything from Beauty Bay again, nor (in the event I have a choice) will I use Evri or inPost again.

I bought a Beauty Works hair curler for my daughter, chose this as it was supposed to work well with long hair. Not only did it not curl her hair, the product had clearly been used before as packaging was loose and included gloves were really dirty! Beauty Bay are refusing a return as they say I breached their returns policy by opening the packaging. I will be contacting my credit card company for a refund.

Ordered two items at a cost of £30. However I did not receive a confirmation email, though the money was deducted from my payment method. When I emailed to enquire about my order confirmation, I was sent round in circles, with customer service informing me they cannot process my enquiry as I don't have an order number! I don't have an order number because they never sent a confirmation email! Basically I can't get my money back or the goods I prefer. Absolutely awful service, will never purchase from this company ever again! Rip off merchants!

No communication apart from 'we'll send order soon, sorry its late. ' to then just sending a refund a month later which I had to check up with PayPal to see what it was for as I had received no email. I previously had good service from beauty bay so it's disappointing that it's like this now.

Sent the wrong foundation colour to me.
Got in touch with them waited 10 days for a response been waiting over a month for my refund still no refund… keep emailing keep getting automated email back. Never buy from them again, beauty bay customer service are a joke.

THE WORST

I placed an order on 18th of November (a month ago). Payed extra for an express shipping of 3-5 business days. I still have not received it. Teaching through BEAUTY BAY website says: has not been dispatched yet. No contact for delivery. Customer service is the worst. They take forever and are not helpful at all.

Waited 34 days with no order received. Beauty Bay refused to refund me for order never received claiming no accurate tracking number. That is their resposibility to provide accurate tracking number in 1rst place so I called credit card company and got refund as no proof they ever delivered package but also would have proved deserved refund would have shown what actually happened to package. NO PHONE CUSTOMER SERVICE & 10 DAY EMAIL WAIT RESPONSE & DONT REFUND OR HELP YOU IN ANY WAY
