No Rush

Don't expect your item to get to the destination within the time that is stated. In fact, don't expect it to even be updated within 2 weeks of your purchasing date. I bought my item on the 4th of October, it is the 20th and there is still no update that it has even left China. 15 days is a lie. I will not be buying from BeautifulHalo and either will my friends and family if I can help it.

Item Not As Described

I just bought a $262 industrial pipe kitchen light from beautifulhalo.com. The item took forever to get here from China and when it arrived it was NOT AS IT LOOKS in THE PICTURES online. It's totally an ugly gold piece of cheap crap. I read reviews after I placed my order. Don't make my mistake. This company sucks.

Absolute joke

I purchased my order over a month ago and i keep checking the progress and it says "processing", mind you it has been "processing" for over a month. I sent them a message and they did not apologise and just said that "it takes time". Probably going to be months before i receive my order, if i even do. Will not ever use this site again, literal joke.

Back in August I ordered a Tiffany light fixture, that with the shipping cost came to 110.00 USD. Come the middle of September there was no sign of it. It finally arrived about a week ago, and I found I was ripped off. It was supposed to be Tiffany GLASS, per their original description. It is plastic. I called them on it and they said it is ART GLASS, and that all Tiffany lamps are made of that. Long story short, I opened a ticket with them, and all they did was run me around, said that they would take it back if I paid the return shipping, and they were willing to refund me just 10.00 USD. I continued to argue with them, and they just kept saying we will give you 10.00 back. So I threatened to get our family attorney involved. Then they said they will refund me all but the shipping. I mentioned my attorney again, and now they said that if I pay to send it back to them, they will refund me in full. I have demanded an RMA as a means of tracking the return. I also closed down the checking account that the funds for the lamp came from because I don't put it past them to hack me and drain my funds. So when I told them this, they got pissy and said that they will issue a money order. I don't trust these bastards any farther than I can throw them. I understand that so many of you are dealing with this same thing. So I want to share with you the address they told me to return the fixture to. Maybe this will help some of you.

Worst customer service ever... Not only did they tell me they wouldn't let me return my item, but they told me I should pay shipping because "as you know, it's expensive". If you want returning customers, or any referrals at all, at least be polite!

I ordered a pendant light from this company and they sent out a damaged and incomplete light fitting. I emailed the company over 30 times backwards and forwards to attempt to fix the situation. They constantly give you the run around deliberately delay. They eventually agreed to refund 15 dollars only for the damaged light fitting even though it cost 288. When the missing part eventually showed up it did not fit the light nor was it complete. Absolutely terrible service and quality. Avoid this company at all costs.

Chinese copy-store (bad)

I ordered a Sleeveless Vintage Tea Babydoll Dress with them, but only realized they were a copy-store when it arrived and that the picture on their website is stolen from Pinterest.

It does not look anything like the dress in the photo. Even the fabric does not look good. I knew it would be polyester, but the print is way larger than in the picture and the print is also vague and not sharp as in the picture. The bust should have a different neckline and also different colour cloth. The finish of the sewing is shabby and if I were to wear this, the white inside of the fabric would continue to hang outside.

I filed a complain through paypal. They offered me a 40% refund (at first only 20%) and keeping the dress or getting a 100% refund and sending the dress which will cost me around 20 USD.

So in both cases I will have paid around 20 USD for a dress I do not want. While they made the mistake of not doing a quality check. At one glance you already see that it does not have the 'sweatheart neck'.

Supplement: I escalated my claim through PayPal and BeautifulHalo offered to refund 16.82 USD. I accepted, because I'm by now tired of this whole mess, and I'll just have to cut my losses.

Poor service and quality

Don't buy any lighting from them. The products are very poorly made and mine showed up 5 weeks late and broken. They refused to refund my money and wanted to charge me $60 shipping for a new light. Do not buy lighting from them. I finally had to have my cc company dispute the claim and credit my account. It took almost 3 months and a ton of paperwork and hold time to get my 400 dollars back.

Please see the photos below regarding my purchase. I am told that i am responsible to ship the lamp back at $73.13 in shipping costs to get a $158 refund. I have filed a claim with PayPal and now Bank of America for fraud.

The customer service is horrible. The clothes are cheap, and my clothing didn't look exactly the same as the pictures.
I want to return my item and they are saying the return shipping fee is very expensive and offering me 20% of my money back... which is only 6 friggen dollars. This website is ridiculous. Seriously, do not buy from them. They are the worst I have ever dealt with. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.
I wouldn't advise ordering from here.

I purchased a light fixture from beautifulhalo.com in July. I chatted online with their customer service to ensure the correct bulbs came with the fixture. The light arrived and the bulbs were 10cm too long. I contacted beautifulhalo support (they are based in China...) and they promised they would fix the situation by mailing out the correct bulbs to me at no extra cost. A month later and several emails back and forth and they have not mailed the bulbs. I contacted them again and threatened to write a negative review on SiteJabber. After that they mailed the bulbs and sent me a tracking number within a few days (at no cost to me). I've yet to receive the bulbs but the tracking says they've arrived in Kentucky, from Shanghai. If the bulbs are the right size I will amend this review and give them a higher rating.
ADDENDUM: I just received the replacement bulbs in the mail. They are all 3-inches too short! Amazing... A company that sells light fixtures gets the wrong size bulbs three times in a row. First, with customer service online chat, second with the replacement bulbs, third with the replacement of the replacement bulbs. Wow! Absolutely dire. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

PPS: Their latest email response (apparently they have to 'hand make' the bulb for the fixture they sold... hilarious!). Also, note how they are based in China but all respond with Western names to lull you into thinking the customer service is in the US. It's not. They're Chinese and don't give a hoot about US customers.

Still waiting

Avoid this company. I have currently been waiting for three weeks for a light fixture I ordered to be shipped. It has been shown as "pending" since I ordered it. My messages through their online system have not been returned. I tried their live chat system only to keep getting the same message saying that my current wait time was 1 minute. No one every responded through the live chat system. After reading all of these reviews it looks like I may never get this order and will have to jump through numerous hoops to get my money back. Avoid ordering from them. There are plenty other discount websites with good products that have much better customer service. The other products we ordered from other companies on the same day arrived a week ago with no issues.

Bad Return Policy

My daughter ordered a dress from Beautiful Halo. It was too big in the waist even though we physically measured her and ordered the appreciate size. She contacted customer support to first exchange the dress but was given the run around so I got involved. After a few emails I finally requested a return out of frustration. Beautiful Halo offered me a 20% refund. I am not happy to say the least. My daughter learned a shopping lesson, but Beautiful Halo lost a customer. Will never order here again!

I purchased 3 "light fixtures" from this China-based online company. Two of the fixtures arrived requiring total assembly. I mean total assembly. It was a six pendant light. Each wire had to be attached individually to the base. Unbelievable. There were no instructions. I emailed back and forth for days only to be told "just attach the wires to any other wire, the colors don't matter". My electrician (yes, you will need one.) indicated that the wires should not be interchangeable but he will figure it out. The second fixture was a sconce made of very cheap resin, not metal as indicated. The third fixture was advertised as a 14 bulb pendant and was pictured and described as having bulbs, but was sent with none. I only bought the fixture because it came w/ the "Edison" bulbs which would have cost $7ea in the U.S., so this was a good deal -so I thought. I would not have bought it if the bulbs were not included. I emailed and asked where they were. I was told it didn't come with bulbs and was referred to the recently changed product photo/description. Luckily I had a screen shot of the photo/description at the time that I ordered my item. After I sent it to them w/ an email demanding my bulbs, or postage to send the item back, I was ignored. After several unanswered emails, I opened a dispute w/ Capital One. Only THEN, did B. Halo offer to send the bulbs if I closed the dispute. I refused to close the dispute until I received the bulbs. In the meantime, Cap1 reversed the charges. B. Halo then somehow had my card re-charged for the original amount and still did not deliver the bulbs. I am in credit card dispute hell now and still have not gotten what I paid for.

I ordered 2 shirts over 5 weeks ago. They still have not been delivered. After contacting the company to inquire, they responded with a one word email: "shipped". Highly advise all not to order from this website. I either need a full refund or these items need to be shipped again.

I ordered a light and they told me it was out of stock and I asked for a refund and they told me they would have it made. The light showed up 8 weeks later and was nothing like the picture. I sent them photo showing how poorly the light was made and they still refuse to give me a refund. Never shop this website again, I beg no one else to get ripped off and cheated too!

I ordered three items, two sweaters and a sweatshirt, on July 19th, 2015. I believe I was charged for the items but having trust in the website at the time, I didn't really check, just waited for my items to arrive. I found an ad for the website today, a full year later and realized I never got my items. When I looked at my account it said the transfer was "pending". Still not sure if I paid for these items but I never got them. I proceeded to cancel two of the orders but kept the third one pending because I wanted that sweatshirt. I then sent a message attached to that order asking where my shirt was and if I even paid for it but after looking over some of the other reviews for this horrible website I decided it would be best to bail while I still can. I'm already convinced this store is pure scam. Don't trust the service, products, or website one bit.

I received products in which I ordered for my daughter. We did the right thing and measured shirts she already had to make sure we selected the correct sizing. 2 out of the 6 sort of fitted. I returned products and have been arguing for over a month for a $63 refund. Really!
I would not recommend this company to anyone nor will I ever purchase anything from them again.
Mind you someone actually phoned and said the refund wouldn't be a problem but of course they stay they haven't received to package back. It went back in original packaging.
Don't take the risk by doing business with this company. Extremely poor customer service.

Beware

I brought 4 lights from them and it took more than five months for all of them to get to me. They also came with European standards rather than American standards which is where I live. To get the final light I had to say that I was going to forward the emails I had gotten from them promising the items over the four month period to paypal. They then got the last item to me within days. They are a really bad business and do not send out lighting that is US approved to US addresses.
