I've been using bath and bodywork's for twenty years and had loved it until now. I've gone to different stores and found that the lotions scent are so light that you can barely smell it. Why pay $13.50 for a bottle of lotion that loses its scent as soon as it's applied.
So now I'll just buy regular lotion and where perfume.
I've never had the issues with this company as I had this year. Missing products, late deliveries, and cancelled items on the date of delivery. But, today was the final one.
I had placed an order in early December, and it was delivered in mid Dec. Today I received an email from BBW and it was the duplicate order I'd already received. I didn't think much of it. Checked my bank acct, and I received a random charge from BBW in the exact same amount from the order I had placed a month ago, and the email I had received today.
As it hasn't gone through yet, I can't dispute it from my bank, but I also can't access the funds, and their rep pretty much said it could take up to 30 days for the error to be resolved. So I'm pretty much out $100+ dollars because they literally stole it from me. Will never use this company again. Awful.
Am so sick of the B&B sales offered in store and online. 3 different times I have spent the time online to make up my $100 order. Items show available but in the final step of checkout, most of my cart shows unavailable. Very aggravating.
I wasted half an hour of my time. I sat here and went through and placed my order only to go to check out and find out most items were not available. I then had to go through and manually delete the items. You would think they would have software that would automatically do that. You would also think they would have software that would automatically mark items as unavailable when the item is sold out. I was told they update their webpage every 15 minutes. I checked hours later, and those items were still coming up as being available. Completely UNACCEPTABLE!
I'm m not sure on a last name but DALE was amazing! And helped me with all my issues! I was very very upset when I first called but he completely turned my mood around and fixed every single one of my issues! This man deserves a raise! :)
I recently placed an order online, this became my preferred method for a few years. I took advantage of the after Christmas sale. Filled my cart with about 13 items. Then came time to checkout, I received a $100 gift card and used it for the bulk of my purchase leaving a balance of $14+ to pay with my credit card. The nightmare begins, I processed to purchase and it excepted the gift card, process stalled and I'm told one of the items is no longer available leaving a remaining balance of 6.28 after the gift card. I thought no problem I proceeds to checkout and place the order. I thought I was safe, I received a email that two more items were removed from my order due to availability, disappointed but what can I do. I was also told the order was delayed. I checked my bank account and I see that they took the entire purchase out of my account including for items they removed. I called immediately to get it resolved, I got hung up on twice, spoke to agent #1 she was polite and seemed to want to help. I said to her please cancel the order if this can't be fixed. She assured me nothing had shipped and they would refund the money to my bank and use the gift card. I checked my bank the next day see part of the refund, I called again agent #2 still very polite explained everything also adding that due to the changes to the order the giftcard one would have covered the entire order, she tells me they didn't add the gift card. OMG! I gave her all the info again she tells me I will receive a full refund okay. I check the account two days later and see the partial refund that they sent back was taken again to pay for items they were now shipping. I'm totally upset and called agent #3 I preferences the conversation with I'm very upset and I know it's not your fault and I don't want to take it out on you I'm in the service industry so please forgive my tone". I proceeded to explain again, and she told me she'd been doing this job 5 years, her tone was less then a joy; she begin to make excuses which angered me more. I couldn't believe my ears, I told her I was upset her response was "I need you to be professional " at that moment I
Raised my voice and let her know I am not swearing, I have not threatened you or berated you I responded I am professional I am upset." This chick tells me she can't promise anything because they are busy and that the refund could take 30days. I couldn't believe she had been with the company five years. She gave me 4 reference numbers. I'm still waiting for my refund. After being a loyal customer for 15 years I am done with this company.
I love the smell, it smells amazing with baking essences and I love how it lights up the place really well!
Today we have received satisfactory service from NORA at YORKDALE mall. Guys if you want any help to choose the product don't hesitate to ask Nora. She's the one you should look for. She provided her 100 % service to us. She has the qualities of perfect customer service.
I placed an order of roughly $200 worth of products the day after Christmas. Contacted customer service on 01/04/2022 after only receiving $45 worth of products, the rest not being shipped out yet. Was told to wait until 01/08 before contacting them again. I waited, and nothing came. So, I contacted customer service again after checking that they were currently working on orders placed on Dec. 29.
Was told my order was never worked on for unknown reasons and most of the items I ordered was sold out. I'm still getting emails that they can't ship items because its sold out. Still to this day my order hasn't been completely shipped.
DON'T ORDER ONLINE. The order delivered but I didn't received almost 4weeks. No help. Years member. Byebye B&BW.
I love my products they smell so lovely and with great quality, the only thing my brand new lemon Lip Balm was detached and stuck in the lid :( it taste and smell good though and feels great on my lips.
SUPER FRUSTRATED with BBW, s online orders. First time ordering from them online and I will not ever do it again. Yesterday morning I bought 2 three wick candles and two wall flower refills for a really good sales price. Ok well that part is not a happy ending because I paid over $60 dollars for ever thing and the next day I check my order status and one of the candles went from 1 qty to 0 qty? How can this even happen after I bought it? What frustrating is that I just paid for a candle that I "thought" I was getting! Contacted customer service with my complaint and I was told it's a ware house picking problem… well guess what that is not the customers problem at all problem. Don't put a candle online and say it's in stock we go and buy it and poof it's gone right out of our cart. Then the customer service lady said it's back in stock again but yet you all cancelled my order saying it's out of stock? It was just ordered yesterday and it went from in stock, to out of stock, to in-stock again? I wanted to cancel my order and then I'm told again I can't cancel my order… ok that's when the headache comes in. I've never heard of a retail company not being able to cancel a current order when it hasn't even shipped yet! Then to make matters worse I would have drive my un happy behind to the store to return it when I live an hour away from the closest store! Customer service tried to fix the problem, but to me this is an ongoing issue with the in stock situation. The company policy can be done away with. Please do not order online save the hassle and trouble. I just hope I even get my stuff…..
I placed an order 12/3/21 the tracking number provided shows that UPS never received the shipment. It was a Christmas present and all customer service could say is we don't have the product in stock anymore there is nothing we can do! (20 day's later)!
The fragrances are awesome! I like the website because it fulfills its promises. I even recommended it to a few of my friends.
I don't know who else is having problems with this company. When the hand soap was on sale I order online. 3 weeks pass I didn't receive a tracking number or my order. I went on live chant. My order wasn't place but they charged me. I guess I didn't learn my lesson when the candles went on sale same thing. I place my order 3 weeks pass nothing. I call them this girl name Natasha gives me attitude then hangs up on me.
This was a horrible experience for me, I was out of town so I ordered 1 candle and a body wash from bath and body. I ordered these products and than forgot that I ordered them, than I looked at my account to see if I actually ordered all of this, my account showed that I didn't have anything coming in so I thought that I just thought about ordering it. So I went to the actual store and just bought my items there. 2 days later I got an email from bath and body saying, 'sorry we missed you!" They found my order of the items I just bought and they had already shipped it out, a month later! I went back to the store to return my items I just bought because I couldn't cancel my order if its already on its way. I got my order a couple of days later and my candle was completely shattered. It wasn't wrapped in any safe packaging. Now I have to go back to the store to exchange my items! This has been a complete mess and I am not happy about any part of it. They lost my order and I got an email a month later, than my items show up completely shattered! Horrible!
I went to bath and body works as usual for Christmas shopping, only to find out that they spread Christmas cheer by changing their promotion buy 3 get 2 free to buy 2 get 1 free. I was so disappointed. So I will shop elsewhere and so will my family. Merry Christmas!
I waited on hold only to be hung up on twice after really long hold times. I own a business and was going to spend a ton of money but you did not honor you special at check out. Never again will I shop with you unless you fix the problem. Buyers be warned!
I've used them for years and never had a problem until this year. I ordered 18 items buy 3 get 3 free on Black Friday. It finally shipped a week later and 12 of the items were cancelled with an email saying to order something else. Oh yeah? Now I can't get the same sales price I had. So the 6 items left came in and 3 of the bottle tops weren't screwed on so they leaked out and these are Xmas gifts! So I call and they claim they were going to resend the 6 "damaged" items, and ignored my complaint about the 12 cancelled items, and said they were overnighting the 6 items confirmed the order went through. About an hour later I receive a new email that the new 6 items were also CANCELLED! And when you call you're on hold forever and they don't call back for at least an hour. Now you can't even do live chat. They have no email for customer service anymore. I'm never shopping here ever again!
Horrible customer service! Would honestly not recommend! Customer service representatives are not knowledgeable on how to best help customers.
Answer: I used to think Bath and Bodyworks products were worth all the money they charge but now after buying my last batch of candles the fragrance has decreased tremendously. No lie.

Answer: I think that the lotions don't hydrate my skin. I like the candles…if I can get what I want before they sell out.
Answer: My daughters and I always buy from Bath & Body Works. People do notice the difference, because the smells are nice and warm and last long.
