Bark.com is very quick in their response to any issue I've had over the years. My only issue (other than some posts being overpriced) is that too many people who post on Bark.com don't realize the it costs money to purchase their lead. I've mentioned it to posters on a few occasions and they're shocked to hear that.

Most of the leads don't reply to your emails.
There might be a better response rate if leads knew that professionals have to pay to contact them.

I have purchased many leads this past week or two, and less than 5% of them are returning phone calls, answering text messages or emails, etc. It has been a waste of money / credit so far

I'm a self-employed, full-time photographer and want to preface this by saying, clients need a convenient way to 'shop' for what they want, that's an invaluable resource. Experiencing Bark as a 'professional' is frustrating. Like most 3rd-party/middle-man platforms, money is the name of the game. My first 80 credit bundle was over $220.00 which bought contact information for 6 prospective clients. Whether or not leads were solid and/or came through at all is neither here nor there, that's not Bark's responsibility; and no, I did not get a refund let alone any credits back to 'recycle'. But now there's a hesitancy with purchasing more credits; the longer I remain selective and quiet, Bark's customer service forwards emails with large discounts up to 240 credits for $211.20. With all that said, being a veteran-owned small business, I can't afford to turn away from helpful platforms like Bark. They are completely necessary at this point for professionals; consistent exposure and leads are also invaluable. I really just don't know how to feel.

The cost to engage is significant for the disappointing ROI. Despite monitoring all leads to actively pursue each suitable opportunity within 3-10 minutes on most. Then leaving courteous voicemails, sending emails including demo videos and other evidence to verify decades of my expertise, I received ZERO responses in all efforts. Even my attempts to follow up with a thoughtful reminder of my interest ended with no response whatsoever.
Bark is simply not worth the money required for investment.

Simply put most people I engage with never reply or convert. Very frustrating situation as one can imagine. I was lucky at first would this be a strategy to get people hooked on the platform. I don't know.

I very much enjoyed my first experience of a cleaner. Bark had subcontracted the job to an outfit in Newark called Sure Care. The person who came was called Rowena. She was excellent. However yesterday another cleaner turned up with a student. It was not as good. I would like the same person and standard each visit!

The option "looking for care professional" is quite general because clients look for care companies or individual carers.it leads to disappointment after purchasing the lead. So the option could be care professional or care providing company or something like that.

You need to vet potential customers in a better way. I used 7 credits to phone a job, first in within 5 minutes, left a lovely voicemail. It was a Saturday afternoon at 4 40. Nothing back. Rang again on Monday, nothing. I contacted BARK to let them know I spent £11 of my hard earned money for nothing, not even a chance to give a quote. The chap said that's just the way it is.

All of the leads were scams or other cleaners. I have not had one good lead. This site has not tried to make it right they just said be patient. I was more than patient

Answer: Bark may or may not be legit, but their barks are very often bogus tire kickers or scammers. They've got a lot of work to do to clean up their act. They need to go straight membership and those needing the work done need to PAY to speak to a professional instead of the professional paying to speak to the bogus tire kicker.
Answer: No it is not, total scam. They take your money and send you fake leads.
Answer: Your reviews are high on Trustpilot because they remove all the negative reviews from their profile. Bark.com removed my review twice. Trustpilot is the only review website that allows businesses to remove reviews for a price. Trustpilot got criticized in several news articles for being easily manipulated of their 'Reviews' for $600 any business profile can push up or down review they want. Look up 'Trustpilot news articles'; they say 'Trustpilot reviews are just paid advertising'
Answer: Agree with above, In my experience, this has been a COMPLETE SCAM. Spend all that money to place an ad, or renew your website, DO NOT INVEST IN BARK
Answer: Bark don't verify whether any of the customer tel numbers actually work and most of the leads are poor quality so they won't answer anyway. Save your money, honestly.
Answer: Very true. Misleading leads. No lead vetting. Just Bark saying leads have been verified. But how do we know when no lead responds. They seem fake to me. Bad experience and worst leading platform.
Answer: Bad lead quality, stay away. Zero customer service. On the phone they will tell you that you are wasting their time.
Answer: The 1 star reviews are real. All the other 5 stars are not. This website preys on desperate businesses that require work and signs them up with a cost. First, they searched deep on the internet as my business has NEVER heard of them before their Spam-my email. They send an email stating that I have a lead on their website that I NEVER signed up on. Then ask for money to see who this lead is. To keep their site running, they say to people who are looking for particular businesses that they have them when they don't.
Answer: £1.20 per credit for a starter pack, then £1.50 after that and unqualified leads with next to no information cost between 10 and 18 credits. 10 leads will cost over £200 and doubtful will generate any work
Answer: It's because the positive customer reviews are almost certainly fake. Look at the dates. Look at the volume of reviews. Approximately 100 positive customer reviews of Bark have appeared on Sitejabber between early December 2019 and today (late January 2020). Compared to the number of reviews they received prior to December 2019, that is just an astounding number of reviews. This is not normal.
