It's The First Saturday Of The month. There are only two tellers and the line has over fifty people waiting. I continue to have the same poor customer care each time I enter a B of A branch. I know they can afford at least two more tellers at ten dollars an hour!
Payoneer Uses Bank of america to register account sometime, if this happens to you, that mean you cannot use your Card of account, Bank of America do not provide any facility to use its Card even if Payoneer has registered you.
I have found this bank to have a better understanding of personal needs and requirements than many (over 6 different banks). They are well trained professionals that work as a team and focus on customer service.
And now for the bad news... they overcharge and charge for everything. Parking still may be free, but haven't been there this week.
STEAL THEIR DESKS AND LEAVE THE PEN!
They exist to destroy the lives of the 99%, yet are involved in every illegal practice.
They are Slime in a Box.
I think if you keep something like $10-$20k in your bank account Bank of America still offers free checking. They're not the most exciting bank but I've been with them for a long time and don't really have any complaints. All the online banking and check depositing app stuff works and is easy.
They gave me and account allowed someone to commit fraud and closed it before I was even made aware of fraudulent activity less than 30 days
The recent site update makes logging into my account a lot easier and quicker. However I still feel like they should have have an option to keep the old login style or switch to the new one.
Once logged into the site, everything is well organized and you are able to access many of their tools to help you save, budget, and manage your money.
B of A are scamming your money. Does anybody remember about 5 years ago when a federal judge allowed a 2.5 billion dollars settlement against them due to the fact that they were changing around the dates of their customers transactions in their checking accounts so that they would incur fees? Watch out for this institution. They are always up to something. Wells Fargo also did this. Use a Credit Union..
After they would charge me overdraft fees when I had money in my account. I left this bank and still receive settlement checks from the class action lawsuit filed against them for unethical banking practices.
Last May 27th, my saving account with Bank of America was assaulted.
It reflected a balance of "0" and the title of the transaction says "Hold" "Legal Order, LTS Uxxxxxxxxxxxx". When I called today to speak to a customer service, she told me that I have to call 847-xxx-xxxx. I thought that it was a Bank of America number, but instead it is the legal firm that has assaulted my savings account.
We (Bank of America and I) have a citation to appear this coming June in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois-Municipal Department District. This day is when we will know what has to be paid and who has to pay. I don't think that at this time this legal firm representing the plaintiff has any right to hold my saving account, not before the court day, and I don't think is right for Bank of America to hold my account without anything done in court yet. It is too early to do so, isn't it?
Other mysterious thing happening with Bank of America is related to my checking account.
My online bank statement always reflects 100% of my transactions immediately for several years until yesterday. The last transaction I made yesterday with my debit card still not posted, which is something very weird
As if my banking accounts with Bank of America have been manipulated from inside.
Strange, very strange...
It was a bad experience, but thanks to its website, I've detected the irregularities in my accounts, hopefully, on time to avoid further damages.
*Note: Bank of America has been cited as a third party by Blitt and Gaines, P. C., the latest is the legal firm representing the Plaintiff, a car maker Co. Who used to hire my ex-husband.
I accidentally wrote a check for 42 cents more than my account balance so the bank covered it and understandably charged a $35 Overdraft fee. I asked them to reconsider because it was a matter of pennies and an honest mistake. To my surprise, they refunded it... but not before slapping on another $35 fee for not having deposited the 42 cents on time. (They apparently gave me 5 days to do so and that was the time between me realizing the issue and the end of exchanging emails via their site.)
I told them I'm in Canada, had no PayPal funds at the moment, so there was no way to deposit anything for a few more days. They said I could make a formal request to refund the second $35, but upon me asking they could not guarantee that the request would be fulfilled. It sounded like a ruse and I ended up putting the ball in their court and told them to decide: A) Keep me as a client, wait a few days for a deposit, and refund the second $35 or B) Drop me as a client and I still wouldn't pay the $35.
Their reply? Goodbye!
A great example of corporate arrogance and not caring about the little guy.
This app allows me to do almost everything I need to do while banking. While you can' t deposit checks via yet, maybe that will come sometime soon
I like this app. It's very easy to use and I haven't had any problems with it. I only use it to quickly transfer money between my accounts and other people's accounts that I'm linked to, but it's also a nice way to see how much money you have or to see debits and credits that have hit your account.
Surprisingly good online offerings. Basically everything works.
I have never had a bad experience with BOA. I like how their banks and ATMs are ubiquitous (at least where I live in the Bay Area). Whenever I have gone in to speak to a representative they have always been very nice!
I reset my password about 9 months ago and ever since I now have to constantly reset again because it will not recognize the new passwords. I have had to call BofA several times. Today I was put through the recorded messages repeatedly, the prompts before finally getting a person, the put on hold to get tech support and then during the call the phone disconnected twice. An hour later I am really frustrated! When I suggest that their website might be the problem that is where the phone cuts off suddenly, I don't know if I am being hung up on or if they are having difficulties with their call centers or what.
I like this bank. I've had two other banks before and now I keep my accounts with just BOA. I recommend that you must be responsible and get well informed about your accounts. Check them online frequently, set up your balance and other options alerts to you phone, and you will be more than ok. If you don't like fees, don't transfer from your savings more than the estimated, link your accounts to avoid overdraft fees... just be well-prepared and communicate with your bank even if you are traveling. Easy...
Bank of America is not really the best bank. In fact it's the best at very little. It's big and impersonal and everything sort of works fine but really not that well. However, I would say that for a small business owner, Bank of America payroll is a good deal. It's much cheaper and perhaps even easier than most of the big payroll companies like ADP. Sure if you have a big business ADP payroll might be the only way to go, but for us small guys Bank of America Payroll isn't half bad.
I never had any real beef with BofA, but holy macaroni... I attempted to log into my online account today, and accidentally entered in the wrong answer (from typing too fast) to my "security question" and it WORKED. FAIL!
Answer: So many other and better banks please stay away from this shithole. Bank of america yup sounds about right. America..
Answer: Nobody at BOA can help me resolve this issue! Which is sad
