Would give 0 stars if I could. Due to sales agent (Jay Vallone) error, our policy was listed with the wrong name. 10mins after I submitted payment I told him about the issue and he threw it into a queue. We then had to cancel the policy and reissue a brand new one that took 7 days holding up our entire house closing process and making our seller have to go to extreme lengths. 3 weeks later I still have 2 open house policies with literally no communication whatsoever from customer service despite repeated calls and emails. I will never use Bamboo again and am now looking at not using this home insurance at all.

It started out well but totally fell apart when it came time to pay. I requested monthly payments for Bamboo and gave my account #. The agent said a payment of 369.50 would be withdrawn. When I checked my account the whole premium of 1268.00 had been taken out. I said I would send a check to CFP for the initial payment, she said fine. I promptly sent the check from a different bank but the next day that payment was also withdrawn from my account. I contacted the agent who said she would look into it, but apparently she had left the building. I never heard back. I also left voice mail, no response. I am not happy about the whole situation. Next year I may be shopping for insurance that has better customer service.

I was notified my homeowner's insurance carrier was not renewing policies written in California. A friend referred me to Jeremiah at Bamboo Insurance. I was immediately put at ease by Jeremiah. He was very professional and friendly. He asked the pertinent questions, began the application process, filled in all the data, made some procedural suggestions, and was able to get an insurance company to bind and eventually write my coverage. I am so relieved and have peace of mind thanks to Jeremiah. I know I can count on him if I have any questions. Well done, Jeremiah
