The price and quality of the products were great and well packed. However they arrived broken. After I send pics of the broken item the company was kind enough to send me a speedy replacement.

During xmas season, delivery date is very important. I couldn't find anywhere on your site indicating when my package will be delivered. If not on or before Dec 24, I will cancel.

I bought two for my bathroom, they are fabulous. VERY well made and beautiful. True to photos. I often get disappointed by internet shopping, these are truly wonderful.

I received a candle holder with a big chip in it. I immediately requested a replacement. I received an email asking me to send pictures, which I did. I have followed up with three emails. I tried to call but was put on hold for over 20 minutes. They have not responded since the initial request for pictures. I will NEVER buy anything from them again, and I encourage everyone to stay away!
I ordered from them in July, a simple small end table. They back ordered it to September, kind of weird but okay sure there's a pandemic. THEN they back ordered it til November. I tried to call them and email them to get a refund, and didn't get a call back or an email back. Convinced this company isnt real and i just gave my money away. It's a scam don't fall for it, i would give zero stars if i could:
I ordered two sconces advertised as with electrical cord and they arrived as hard wired. With no response from customer service I had to modify and pay to alter electrical wiring and mounting. Never did hear back from them although the acknowledge receipt of my complaint
I ordered late night on 8/19/20, but my credit card information was off by one number. They called me bright and early the next day for a correct number. My order was confirmed on 8/20/20.
I received an email that my order shipped on 8/24/20, and I was billed in full, but the "FedEx" tracking number they provided came back as invalid. On 8/26/20 when it still didn't work, I followed the directions on their site and emailed them about the issue. It's been six days, and I have still received no response.
Meanwhile... I received a text on 8/26/20 from R & L delivery saying I need to call for a freight delivery from Elk Lighting. Oddly enough, I had actually ordered something from Elk Lighting- but it was a six pound lamp, not a "127 pound pallet of merchandise" as the delivery company described it. They weren't sure what it was beyond that. We both assumed there had probably been some mix-up, and they attempted to call the company, but they were unable to speak to anyone. They left a message that went unreturned for sometime.
You might have guessed by now, that R & L was trying to deliver my dresser... but with a different merchant name, a different shipping company, an invalid tracking number, no response when they tried to contact the shipper, and no response when I tried to contact Bailey Street, it was not a smooth hand off.
I should mention that I've ordered quite a few home items lately, including multiple pieces of furniture and several light fixtures. If I'd only had one outstanding order from one company, the situation might have been easier to figure out.
Anyway... The dresser eventually arrived on 9/1/20 and it is BEAUTIFUL and in perfect condition. I got a VERY good deal on it, and I would probably order from this company again. I would be a little on edge, though. It seems like they are slow or absent when it comes to responding to questions or problems after payment has been made.
I have currently been waiting in the hold queue for over an hour regarding the status of an order and I've quickly learned this is not unusual when trying to reach this company. Calls are not answered, emails are not returned, chat msgs are not handled - you will just sit in their queue. They will even leave you in the chat queue if they close for the day, despite entering the queue during normal business hours. The only way to get to a person is to say you have a new order. You will then be told someone will get back to you, but they never do. Any other reason selected in the phone/chat queue doesn't seem to get answered. Now tracking all calls/emails/chat attempts to dispute charger with CC company. Disappointing. Buyer beware.
Entices with good prices, but once they get your money, make it impossible to cancel or get your money back and do not ever send out your product. Stole $1167. 00 from me and there is no way to contact.
I placed an order in July for 6 new glass top desks. They were delivered mid July and did not come with the glass tops, only the table legs. We have ordered 4 of these in the past from this company and they came with both the glass tops and the legs for around the same price. This was very misleading and disappointing. To make the matter worse, I have called them MULTIPLE times now, starting in mid July, to discuss getting a quote for the 6 glass table tops that were supposed to come with the desks, and have had to wait on hold for 20-30 minutes EACH time I call, only to get no answer, or to be told two separate times that they will call me back with a quote. Have I gotten a call back or an email? NO. I have tried calling several more times to check on the status of my quote and have been on hold 20-30 minutes more each time—no answer. I finally got a call back today and the lady couldn't pull up my order number so she transferred me to someone who could, but guess what— 15 more minutes on hold and no one picked up. Surprise, surprise. It has been 6 weeks since the table legs were delivered and I still have no idea where I stand with getting 6 glass table tops.
Honestly, this is the worst customer service I have received from a company. I get better customer service from my cable company, which isn't saying much. My level of frustration is 10/10.
I found the light fixtures that were perfect for my bathroom revamp. They arrived quickly and I was thrilled. When we opened them to have them installed, one globe was broken, the glass had a hole and it happened in the box because the broken glass was still in the box. I made several phone calls (waited for 2 hours and never talked to anyone), emails, and reported the return needed. Never heard back from anyone. It has been several months and still the only reply I received was the automated, we got your message and will be in touch...
Customer Service makes or breaks a company, this is so poor. I know things are crazy, but to never even follow up and address my issue is ridiculous after 4 months.
I have been through hell and back trying to get ahold of customer service because the product I received doesn't match the image on the website (photos show what they advertised vs what I got - the legs aren't the same wood or joints). I've been trying to reach a resolution on my issue for over three weeks and haven't heard back. They don't respond to emails, I was on hold for over three hours on the phone before realizing their office had closed and the system kept telling me a rep would be right with me, the chat queue wait time is inaccurate... Funny how they respond to positive reviews quickly but not to customer help emails. The "we're a small company and have suddenly had a ton of new customers and can't keep up" excuse is trite. I have nothing positive to say about Bailey Street Home and will tell my fellow designers to stay far far away. Most of the reviews that show on the main page of their website are fake, if you see this one congratulations on finding the real reviews. I know the good deals are tempting but spend your money elsewhere.
On 5/1 I purchased a mirror that was advertised as being "in stock" and "Ships in within 24-48 hours". I kept checking for shipping confirmation and a week or so later got a message saying it was delayed until 6/10... then 6/10 came and I had a message that it was delayed until 7/10. Then 8/10... now the message says delayed until further notice. False advertisement saying it was in stock and guaranteeing delivery. No one ever answers phones and no response to any of the emails I have sent. This is a scam company. They had no problem charging my debit card on 5/1. If I could give zero stars I would. No only has this been a disappointment because I do not have the promised/purchased product but I had now spent hours calling, emailing, and checking to see where it is. DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
