I bought 2 iPads for my kids. They were in great shape and came in mint condition wrapping. The only issues, they were so old they couldn't even sign into iTunes. I returned them within a few days, well within the 30 day window, and almost a month later I'm still fighting for my refund. I just had to file a dispute with my bank, as the seller stopped responding to messages. Very poor customer service and fake reviews on their all the way. Google shows their true colors. Warning to buyers who want refunds/returns.
Tried ordering an iPad twice.
First time I ordered it said it was processing but no cancellation or confirmation, just nothing, it was like I had not even ordered the product.
Second time, they TOOK MY MONEY AND SENT ME A SHIPPING CONFIRMATION and THEN they told me the order was cancelled. AFTER THEY TOLD ME IT SHIPPED.
I order and it said "Hurray! Your purchase has gone through!"
Then I received the message
"Your order has been shipped!
Your order (n°US*******) is on its way. Follow its adventures in real time:
Track my order "
Then on 6/4
"Dear Buyer, Thank you for contacting us. Please note, this order was cancelled due to being out of stock. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please advise if you have any further questions. Thank you Jordan BUYSPRY"
If you have stock management issues of this level, that means you really have a problem.
The worst part is their customer service is rude and clueless and unwilling to anything but offer 5% off my "next order". They claimed it was "stock issue" as if it is just completely normal to conduct business this way.
I wanted them to comp overnight shipping on the third attempted order to make up for the time they wasted in mishandling the first two but they didn't even care to look into it.
Never again.
The customer service is terrible. The laptop kept freezing up. I sent the laptop back and didn't get rcv'd by the company. I can't get anyone to physically check the warehouse to see if it is there. I can check the tracking number myself. So, no refund yet.
Back Market sent me the wrong computer AND it was junk! For about a month they keep saying they will send me a return label but has not. Their customer service people were rude and they have now BLOCKED my emails and erased my complaints from their fb page. DO NOT SHOP AT BLACK MARKET
I think this is an excellent Eco-friendly initiative. I love my phone. It has a 6th Gen Snapdragon quad-core processor that is still very good. I had a choice to go with a phone repair place A> $150 on expensive repairs with no guarantee, and no warranty or B> buy a new phone and spend and extra $50 monthly on my bill for 24 months to get a comparable phone.=$1200. Back Market provided an Eco friendly option for less than $100 to acquire a gently used version of my phone. It also has a 12 month warranty and a 1 month no questions asked return policy. Thank you Back Market!
Got scammed twice... attempted to give them the benefit of the doubt but they failed to deliver. Purchased a supposedly unlocked phone... it came and it was locked to verizon. Out of confusion I reached out and was able to return the phone, however, was made responsible for the packaging of the item. Gave it a second chance months later, AND THE SAME THING OCCURED. Purchased a phone that was to be unlocked, just to find out it was again locked to verizon. Would never purchase from here again.
So, it is now August and to my surprise a credit was finally made to my credit card. Amazing, in no way was there any kind of clue that it was going to happen. End of story, end of updates, lesson learned, bye bye Back Market.
Don't buy here. They will send u a stolen phone that you cannot get turned on Anywhere! That's what happened to me and the seller/ scam artist had good " reviews" No phone number, no address, no business! Learn from others!
They sent a phone that has some problems but expected being a refurbished one. The phone slowly got worse and when I tried to start an exchange, just wanted the same phone, the only response I received was please backup your phone and do a hard reset. I did a hard reset when I first got the phone, but fine I'll play the game. I did one more and it didn't solve the issue. Now I can't get ahold of anyone. Don't trust the 1 year warranty. It's a scam. This company is a giant joke. It really doesn't get any worse than back market. Stay away!
I paid $120 for a used phone that was deliberate defective I emailed them that the phone is defective they emailed back a couple times excuses meantime I can even send them back because they don't send me a return label. I suggest everybody who got similar problem to contact the Licensing Bureau of the hometown what is located they will take care of them
I had a horrible borderline fraudulent experience with Back Market that cost me hundreds of dollars and 7 days of lost productivity.
I ordered a 15.4-inch MacBook Pro (July, 2018) from Back Market. A third-party seller, Koala Stash, sent me a 13-inch. MacBook Pro by itself not even a power cord. After I complained to Koala Stash, the seller said they had no 15.4-inch laptops in stock. My only options were to return the computer or accept an $80 partial refund.
I had to order a power cord separately, which took 2 days. To make matters worse, the laptop from Back Market wasn't even that cheap. I could have bought a similar one from Apple without the headaches.
I ignored some negative reviews of Back Market, and I regret it. :( I recommend that you take the negative reviews seriously.
Got a phone that didn't work properly and couldn't get them to help me out with a return. I'll never buy from them again.
I purchased a iPhone 6 that stated it was unlocked in good condition. The phone came in excellent condition but it was LOCKED! Trying to contact them is terrible! Their is no phone number to call and it's all through messaging. I sent a message to the seller and no response back! The warranty stated 100% refund if need be and I still haven't spoken to anyone and it's been over 17 hours since I reached out! I am going to look into further action immediately because I got completely screwd! Please save yourself time and money and just don't buy!
BackMarket had great customer service and fast shipping time. Everything is reasonably priced. However, I ordered a MacBook Pro 2017 space grey laptop with a Touch Bar however, the laptop did not have a touch bar as specified. Otherwise the computer works fantastically, almost brand new, with minimal scratches and smudges. Great website to use.
The warranty starts the day you purchase the phone! If it takes a week to get it to you you get shorted a week. False advertising! Don't buy a phone on Wednesday Thursday or Friday and pay extra for 2 day shipping you won't get it! Rip off!
Was very disappointed with the iPhone that I received. While it looked nice, it was obvious that the repairs done with poor quality parts and several of the features did not work properly. Not worth it...
I got a mint condition Dell XPS 13 2019 edition a few months ago, and so far everything has been great. I'm honestly surprised how great it is and I don't think I'm ever going to waste my money on buying a new laptop ever again.
I ordered an iPhone listed as in very good condition. When it arrived, it was even better than expected! The phone was like new! Unfortunately it wasn't unlocked and had to be returned. Back Market was there through every step in the process. Vinny and Kiara from Back Market stayed in touch, and the vendor, Upgrade Solutions, moved quickly to provide a full refund once the phone was returned. I was very impressed with the entire experience even though the phone didn't work out. I will be purchasing from Back Market again.
A éviter.
Terrible... just terrible. I placed an order 3/30 and was told it would be delivered in 48 hours. Come 4/2 I reach out to customer support due to the tracker saying the item's label has been created at fedex (this has been the only update up until cancellation by seller). Support told me they'd reach out to the seller because the item should've been shipped by now. 4/3 morning I receive multiple emails from support stating that the item has been lost by the shipping carrier but "not to worry" because my refund has been processed... excuse me? I'm worried because I am a student in need of a laptop & thanks to back market's unprofessionalism I've wasted a week waiting on a necessity.
Answer: Bought a refurbed iPhone 11 unlocked, as a Christmas gift. It arrived and I had it activated. I had no problem with the phone. I went to Simple Mobil, and got their 25.00 plan. The phone is in great condition, works great, and I am happy with Back Market.
