I received a phone a few months ago, however have since sent it back in as battery life was very poor, the camera was broken and the volume button was broken (this was meant to be a phone in top condition).
After not receiving an update now for many days on the phone (even though I have emailed four times), I have asked for a refund on the phone however they are now completely ignoring my emails. So I have no phone and they have my money!
I would not trust this company!
I purchased two iphones from Back Market in the last two years. One was described in fair condition; one was described in good condition. Their standards are high. Both phones were in excellent condition. I bought a second phone from them, because I broke the first phone. The second phone was great and worked well. Back market does prompt returns, but you need to do it using their system. You cannot call a number and complain - which I would prefer. The value is extraordinary. These iphones are in great shape and it is well worth the effort. Try and go to a apple store and get service! Back Market is much better.
I purchased a laptop from this company. Items are supposedly "refurbished". When I got my laptop the fan made a grinding noise, and the laptop did not have windows loaded. The laptop also came with less Memory than advertised and a lower quality processor. I've never received an item so far from advertised. Don't waste your time as you'll be sending back their defective items that aren't even what you ordered.
Delivery was quick. Phone was exactly as described, but did have to be returned. Very good communication throughout, and speedy return process. Fully refunded as promised. Details: Ordered an Samsung Galaxy S9 on 11/27/20 in mint condition. Arrived on 12/8/20. It was as described, exactly in mint condition. Put in Sim and everything was working fine. Got a message to update the software, so did. Afterwards, phone would not connect to internet. Learned that phone was on Sprints blacklist rendering the phone useless. Contacted Back Market who notified seller Wireless Boss. Received right away a return label. Printed it and returned the phone the next day 12/9/20. It was received by seller on 12/16 and process was started for a full refund. Checked my credit card statement on 12/26/20 and the credit was received. I'm sure mail would have been quicker had it not been Christmas.
I returned 2 iPhone which were never used or opened. They were returned using USPS with verification of a tracking number. However Back Market NEVER gave me a refund. I called several times and no ever helped me.
After I spent >$400 on a mint condition IPhone XR, I was concerned after reading reviews; however, I have not one bad thing to say. I ordered the phone on a Thursday morning and it was delivered the very next day! The phone is in mint condition and looks and works great.
ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE
SOLD ME AN INCOMAPTIBLE PHONE AND REFUSED TO RETURN
NO RESPONSE TO EMAILS. STAY AWAY!
"GREG OF CUSTOMER JUBILATION" IS A FRAUD.
I have a receipt show my full address with my apartment number. But Back Market forgot to include my apartment number. So I never received my laptop which I needed to work from home. Costing me even more money. I reached out to them and they were nice but absolutely no help. I held with USPS for almost an hour just to get hung up on. I will not be purchasing from them again.
Greg, "Head of customer jubilation", seems to be what passes for customer service at this fraud of a company. Products are used and service is nonexistent. Promises made are promises broken. Don't believe their great reviews on other sites, users are paid to do that with warranty service they thought they already paid for. In other words, you want the warranty you thought you got with your device? Write a nice review, screenshot it, and send that to Back Market. Company is a fraud.
Ordered a port replicator. Quickly got a track and trace and thing was on the way. Woohoo! Some days later get the package and find... six phones? Obviously not what I ordered. Contacted them and they send me a DHL return label which unfortunately couldn't do much with as I don't have a printer. After some time (and effort) manage to get it send anyway and day after heard they received it. Contacted them again on my port replicator as I was not in the mood to wait longer. They state it's coming asap and then state it will be send on Monday and arriving either subsequent Tuesday or Thursday. Against better judgement said that was ok and wait patiently. Come Monday I get an e-mail that they will refund me. Gee, thanks? What about the promise it would actually be send then and have me waiting unnecessarily for multiple days while they messed up and send me the wrong order (which is not a good reflection on them to begin with) which caused me extra annoyances and work.
In short: They don't keep their word while their logistics are clearly sub par. I definitely would not recommend to any one.
Will not respond to my return request. No customer service numbers to reach anyone. Plenty of other companies out there that sell used phones. Not sure how this place remains in business. You should avoid this place at all cost.
I ordered a refurbished phone through the Back Market marketplace. The phone was average priced compared to other online sellers. I chose them because of the availability of expedited shipping. I was emailed a tracking number 2 days after I ordered, I paid extra for guaranteed 3-day shipping. It has now been 2 weeks and I still don't have my phone. The tracking number states that the USPS is awaiting the package. I have sent 3 emails to Back Market and 2 to the seller of the phone, so far no response. The money has left my account and they have been paid. I am disappointed in the lack of service and no response.
Won't return any of my emails will not send me a shipping label once they got my money and sent me a pizza crappy device they act like I no longer exist do not whatever you do do not purchase from this website buyers beware!
One. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY TO CONTACT THESE PEOPLE!
Two I received it yesterday. The battery was at 80%. Two hours the battery was dead. It charges up as fast as a snail.
My email was shut down by google, and I needed to contact them about the order, BUT BECAUSE YOU CANNOT CALL THEM, AND CANNOT SIGN IN WITHOUT THE ORIGINAL EMAIL YOU GAVE THEM, I CANNOT GET INTO MY ACCOUNT OR EDIT MY INFO, SO I CANNOT GET IN TOUCH FOR REPAIR/REPLACEMENT!
As my subject said, BACK Market sucks. Fly by night organization. I will NEVER deal with them again. You shouldn't either.
I ordered an iphone a week ago, the first day it worked perfectly fine. The second day it wouldnt charge pass 23%, so i turned it off and back on it went down to 2%. Since this day it doesnt charge pass 2% if i let it die and put it on the charger it jumps to 100%, if i take it off the charger at 100% it restarts. Not to mention it restarts every 2-3 minutes literally! Dont do it i even emailed the support team for refund and have yet to even get a response
I had a wonderful experience. I was super nervous but made the move and was very pleased. Make it happen captain.
Seller wouldn't repair my phone's sim card issue because they said phone had previous damage. Only "damaged" because they refurbished back glass with cheapest glass ever. Which cracked immediately after receiving. Then Back Market says "Well, sorry, but here's 5% of next purchase." 5%! $350 is now gone
Horrible experience. Phone clearly was a worthless piece of junk traded in and dumped in bulk. Looks like it was run over by a truck. There are good companies out there, this is not one of them. All they have are Fancy ads,
Bought a phone through BackMarket from ThePhoneStore Company. Multiple problems within 30 days that require a return and replacement or refund. Zero support from either company's customer service. No contact phone number, email, just computer generated "helpful hints" that don't tell me how to do a return. Looks like I am stuck with a defective phone.
Do not order anything from this company. I wish I had saw these reviews before i ordered. TRASH one you get it you will never reach a soul. You cannot ask any questions and sure cannot return nothing! Fortunately i only wasted 50 on a computer. TRASH. I will be doing a review on youtube of this company and pray that people see it before they donate they money. TOTAL SCAM.
Answer: Bought a refurbed iPhone 11 unlocked, as a Christmas gift. It arrived and I had it activated. I had no problem with the phone. I went to Simple Mobil, and got their 25.00 plan. The phone is in great condition, works great, and I am happy with Back Market.
