I had a house fire. Everything we owned was lost except my phone, i was talking on it. I had purchased my phone thru Backmarket and had no problems so I thought I would order my husband one thru them. When I put in my email address I put it in wrong, still very upset about the fire, now I can't change it, I've tried twice. I ordered a phone and have an order number because I did a screenshot. They say I don't have an order. If they sent me an email about it I wouldn't have gotten it. Can't talk to anyone at Backmarket because my problem is not on their list. Don't know if I have something coming or not and can't order anything else because the email is wrong. Will NEVER use them again.
I am enjoying my phone. They deliver the phone faster than I expected also it was carefully covered.
Back Market is an industry leader in renovating the new old back to life. That means every device that you purchase from them has been refurbished to running like brand new, out of the store with zero miles on your new device so that it runs like new again (exception is battery but thankfully that is covered too). They offer a year warranty of all their devices sold on their site. Five stars all the way.
I ordered a Galaxy S21 in Very Good condition and I received just that. I was a bit skeptical about buying refurbished but I will absolutely be buying my next phone through Backmarket.com.
You get exactly what is described in their products. Have bought two refurb phones from them, and I will buy again in the future!
Everything I ordered came in great packaging and all looked like new! On top of that, they all worked amazingly! I'm so excited to continue to use them and if I ever feel like updating, this will be the first place I go!
I was a little sceptical of buying a refurbished phone from the Internet, however I would gladly do it again. The phone was basically brand new when it arrived. It's great to know I could buy a phone that would have ended up in a landfill otherwise.
It is very frustrating when I am home and the delivery person does not use the bell to ring. Further, NO ADDRESS has been provided to pick up the package. NO pick up letter was found in the mailbox. NO SMS was received. NO response from the support. Yay, and I am leaving the country in a few hours. What an awesome experience.
The MBPro quality is top notch, looks new and well package without a scratch or dent really love it.
Thanks BM, Would continue the patronage and recommend to others.

I bought a google pixel six and received it only to realize it was stuck in demo mode, I contacted back market the customer service guy basically sent me an article on how to factory reset it. I did that and then the phone basically said I had to call Google or contact an admin. I took it to a third party to have it removed the next they basically told me the phone was either stolen or belonged to someone who worked at Google, because they weren't able to remove it. I mailed it back the next afternoon for a refund or repair only to get a message a few days later saying I won't receive either cause the phone was broken all of sudden.
Three orders, first order was canceled due to an "availability issue", vender suddenly had plenty of availability once the price was increased by $400. The second order was returned because the unit had another account on it that could not be removed and the battery capacity was below 60% when the standard is all units must ship with no less than 85% capacity. The third order included an upgraded graphics chip 37% faster than the one in the unit I received. I would have to return the unit and either be refunded or wait for the seller to ship a replacement system. Statistically speaking, at least one of these orders should have been correct, but a 100% failure rate is just unacceptable. This has all been a waste of time and money.
There was once a time when I would speak very highly of this seller but that no longer stands true. I spent over 600 dollars and received 2 note 10 refurbished and cheaply. The durability is nothing like they are coming from Samsung at all. The take and replace the broken parts with the cheapest material and then run around and charge a huge price and send out a item that won't make it if it takes a fall and huts the carpet. Blew my mind then they claim its a 1 yr warranty read the fine print when and if it falls void the warranty! Yeah so basically you jus wasted 600 for nothing! Save your money find another seller bc back market is a ligut scam
MY Back Market Experience: We purchased, not ONE, not TWO, but THREE iphones from Back Market! Why 3? They first iphone didn't work, so had to return. The second had a few major glitches that ironically showed up about 30 days after purchase and gentle use. The third phone couldn't even be used because it had NO SIM card when it was supposed to be unlocked and ready for use. I would caution seriously from purchasing from Back Market. We spent about $1200 dollars!, time (time is money) on hold with Verizon to transfer from old phone to new phone. Now we are having to spend more time/hours on the phone transferring back to old phones to send in the two phones, 1 for repair as since just out of 30 days, unable to return. The phone sold without a sim card they finally agreed to return. Sure this won't be the only repair! Too much of a inconvenience. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND JUST GOING NEW PHONE ROUTE, ESPECIALLY FOR THE COST/BENEFIT OF TAKING A CHANCE WITH A SO CALLED "Excellent Condition" iphone. THE BACK MARKET, AVOID. YOU DON'T WANT THIS HEADACHE. To date they have failed to respond to Better Business Bureau attempt to contact reference our experience with them.
I bought an Acer Chromebook Refurb "Excellent Condition" option and when it arrived the letter "K" does not function at all. Very disappointed because I have to take it into a ship for repair. Won't buy from Backmarket again. In fact I can't even email or write my daughter whose first name begins with letter K.
I ordered the phone three weeks ago and some how it got lost between Back Market and their delivery company. I just want a refund but oh no. So now I have no phone and no refund. Totally awful customer service
After doing my homework and reading many excellent reviews, I ordered a much-needed and well-deserved 2019 MacBook Pro from Back Market. I had not been as excited about a purchase since I bought my first new MacBook, many years ago. I was elated when it arrived, and it looked perfect. However, in the set up process, it would not acknowledge or connect to Wi-Fi. I spent over an hour on the phone with an Apple technician, to no avail. He finally suggested I visit a Mac specialist, which I did the next day. The technician at Melrose Mac was baffled, and suggested that I return it, stating that Back Market has a good reputation. In order to return it, in accordance with Back Market rules, I had to wipe it clean and return it to factory settings. Because it had never been online, it didn't really have anything but my account password. Still, it took me two more hours with an Apple technician to remove my account and password. I printed the return label and shipped it back to the seller, Sprout, in Texas. A few days later, UPS tracking notified me that it had been refused and was headed back to my address. I interacted with Back Market customer service, but they were pretty lame. All sugar water with no answers. I refused delivery when the package showed up at my address for the second time. The seller claimed not to have refused it and blamed it on UPS… a story I had a hard time believing. After a few days, I got notice that the MacBook could not be repaired nor replaced, and they did refund my money. But I would never work with this company again. They turned what promised to be a joyous experience into an anxiety-riddled nightmare.
So Backmarket works with refurbishers and resellers across the country, and they're good about keeping the products consistently good. The issue comes in with the shipping FROM these resellers. The United States Postal Service is really great, but FedEx is inconsistent and UPS is even worse, particularly cross-country. Overall 4/5.
Every part of the process was actually amazing! Wife and I are so happy with backmarket, we sought out places to post our review! The price for our laptop was great for what we got, and the computer was in absolutely perfect shape. Runs like new, shipping was very fast and packing was so good it could've made it through a war zone. Unfortunately after 11 months, the computer started doing a weird thing where pressing the backspace key would turn off the power -weird and annoying. It was within the 12 month warranty period so we initiated the return - super easy and free process, the day after they received the return they contacted us and issued a refund because they couldn't fix it. Questions were answered in under 30 minutes, and we have ordered another laptop that's actually got better specs for about the same price. We have been extremely happy with every step of the backmarket experience. We will continue to shop them with no concern.
I have bought a few different items, such as a phone and earbuds. I have yet to receive the phone but the earbuds were in great shape.
I got scammed and I strongly advise against using their platform, waste of time and money and the worst very bad customer service where they are only interested in money, delivery that takes a long time to finally never arrive I strongly advise against the use of this site for the purchase.
Answer: Bought a refurbed iPhone 11 unlocked, as a Christmas gift. It arrived and I had it activated. I had no problem with the phone. I went to Simple Mobil, and got their 25.00 plan. The phone is in great condition, works great, and I am happy with Back Market.
