I have had several encounters with backmarket and every time I was amazed at how communicative and personal they are. They really do a great job at what they do. I'm not one to take the time for a review but this company is exceptional.

Bad experience due to misleading information on the website/in the app. I bought a phone that should be waterproof, main reason for choosing this model. In description/FAQ/warranty details available during buying process device was described as fully functional. After it got wet it stopped working and only when I contacted them to repair it I've found out that waterproof damage is excluded and it's somewhere in help section and in delivery details? (not item, warranty description or FAQ).

I have been waiting over a month to get a refund for an item that I returned. I keep getting the runaround from their employees. I will come back and update if they provide a resolution without me having to do a chargeback with my bank, but at this point it doesn't look like it. I would not do business with them again.

My experience of Back Market has just been awful.

They sent out a phone that didn't work, it had not been checked.

Then their chosen carrier service lost the returned phone.

When this was finally resolved they refunded money to a card that they then rejected when I tried to buy again.

Apparently they do not trust my ID and demand I send them ID info (which banks advise you not to do as you are handing over sensitive information).

They just are dreadful.

If something goes wrong, it goes wrong badly.

The return process was dishonest. I spent three hours going through all the return process hoops after my phone died only to get a response that the seller Back Market used said there was screen damage and no refund would be given. But there was no screen damage! The screen was in great condition and still had the two layers of protective coating on it. There were photos I took, per their instructions, proving the screen condition before I mailed it. I could not get anyone from Back Market to review them--and no way to talk to a manager. They just went with what their dishonest seller said and gave me no way to dispute it. So frustrating--a terrible experience.

I got an 800 dollar Galaxy S21 for 230 bucks. I'm glad that you guys are doing something about all the tech waste and I'm glad I can be a part. There for helping the earth and helping me have a nice phone.

My phone was perfect, shipping was super fast and even the packaging was neat being both a box to protect in shipping, but also can be reused and shipped BACK with same box and bag. They consistently kept in touch letting me know how things progressed. It was just a pleasant experience all the way around and with the main bonus that I'm stoked on my phone.

When my first order from back market arrived I couldn't believe it because I was scared of getting scammed. And it was in perfect working condition even though I bought fair condition. I've been changing phones since then due to the affordable prices and at back market. I will forever choose back market every day. Thank you back market.

I'm losing count of how many products I've bought through Back Market. And I never fail to brag to my friends how much money I saved buying from them. I've recommended Back Market to all of them and those who have taken my recommendations are quite happy with their purchases too. I've bought items for family members also which they are still using. The best thing about Back Market outside of the excellent product their refurbished sell is the customer service and the satisfaction guarantee. And I can testify that they do back up their policy with results. I highly recommend Back Market. I'd like to hope not but they might just be the best kept secret in the refurbished products market. If that's the case my hope is that this will change and that right swiftly.

This is the fourth or fifth phone or tablet we have bought from Back Market and was my middle schooler's first real phone. He loves it! The phone is in beautiful shape and has great battery life. I always recommend Back Market to people who are looking for a new phone or tablet. If you don't need the latest and greatest (and who really does?), Back Market is the best place to shop!

I am very satisfied with Back Market. They gave me exactly what I purchased and it arrived on time. When I received my MacBook Pro, it was in exceptional condition. Whenever I need electronics of this sort I will check with Back Market first. You can save some money and get a great product.

I have several devices from Back Market, more than 8 so far and have had only one real hiccup. This marketplace is great at what it does, the service/products meet and exceed my needs and expectations. Good job BM. Buying cellphones and tablets used to suck but Back Market changed everything...

I'm frm Brazil, I bought a Macbook pro and after less than one month I had a problem. I couldn't send it back to US because of the brazilian custom (it's terrible). I was upset and than I sent a message to BackMarket. In less than 10 minutes the money was in my account, full refunded. Amazing customer service, I've never seem this in Brazil. Thank you very much. I know I can trust them! For sure, I'll buy again from them.

Clear communication about every step of the buying process. I bought a refurbished garmin watch for my husband and it has been great! Will definitely return to back market for future electronic purchases.

I ordered an IPhone SE (2020) it was even more than expected! I opted for "good quality" what I received seem more like excellent! Set it up and have been using it since the day I got it.

Cheap prices, items were even shipped earlier than I had anticipated. Overall, I enjoyed using the app.

Not 1 but 2 phones that would not work properly, you can send it in for repairs great, but some of us use our phones for work so sending it away is not an option. How about selling phones that are actually refurbished and in good working condition?!

Make sure to watch this site for deals (even bigger deals than the prices that are already on the site). I love the site's selection (especially its Apple products). Customer service is very helpful and the products match the quality section that you choose to order. Would recommend it!
