I sent flowers to my cousin's girlfriend after he suddenly passed away last week. They didn't deliver the note that I wrote online, they arrived late and they were dead. Can you imagine a worse thing happening. You want to send flowers to comfort someone who just experienced a huge loss and they get dead flowers. Shame on them, shame on them!
This place is a joke. I ordered a plant as a gift for my step dad's father that passed away and what was received looked nothing like the picture on the website! I spent over $100 and I could of bought a more presentable plant at Home Depot for $10. I am appalled at the customer service. I tried calling and was put on hold for longer than 30 minutes I finally just hung up. After emailing pictures of what I received and telling them I would like a refund and that they could have their ratchet plant back they offered my $10 store credit! Are you kidding me? I will never buy from this place again and I have never experienced such horrible customer service.
My brother and sister in law sent me flowers for my birthday. When they saw a picture of what I received, they were so embarrassed. I know they didn't cheep out but the arrangement could have been purchased for $5.00 at the supermarket. I appreciate the thought from my family but I and they will not use this service ever again.
Ordered Mothers Day flowers they did not show up till 4 days later. We contacted and tried to cancel when we realized they were not on time. They said it was too late to cancel even though they couldnt be delivered on time. The flowers that showed up were nothing like we ordered. Some look dead others not even bloomed out. We paid a service fee alone that was $30 all together $80 for flowers I could have got at walmart for less than $10. The purple pic is what we ordered. The red is what we got. 4 days after mothers day! I am Not OK with this
I never write bad reviews but this is one of the worst businesses I have ever tried to use. They charged my card $107 immediately for a Mother's Day arrangement for my Mother-in-law that was never delivered. Emails not answered and no phone number to call.
First of all I specifically chose a bouquet with pink and white flowers including roses which were to be delivered in a green vase for Mother's Day. Instead my mom receieved a basic assortment of cut flowers in a box no roses and the flowers were dried out and yellow and purple.
They didnt even use a flower shop near where flowers needed to go. They over charge! And days late and could not get anyone on the phone or call me back!
Very deceiving floral shop, I purchased my vase arrangement online May 4th early morning, for my Mother and when checking out it said we might deliver as early as 6th, 7th, 8th or 9th and had an x on 10th but nothing indicated on avas calendar past the 10th. Then later on May 8th I get this letter here, and noticed on the order they changed my order to a 12 stem rose bouquet which was cheaper than the medium size vase arrangement I had bought. So I called avas customer line, which by the way the guy was nice on phone and said sorry about this we will try and get your order out hopefully by Sunday May 10th, but worst case scenario on Monday the 11th and proceeded to give me credit back for that mistake and threw in a small box of chocolates as a sorry. So here we are today the 12th saying it might be at my mom's by the 14th... which btw avas been changing the schedule delivery date since day 1 but still giving them the benefit of the doubt... so here I am hoping and crossing my fingers that when my mother receives her "Mothers Day flowers "sometime this week, they are at least beautiful flowers and in hopes that they at least put fillers to this bouquet, but will see.
This company does not deliver. This company is not local. This company is not even a florist. Everything about this company is a lie. They present themselves as a local flower shop, they are not. They promise delivery, they do not. They say they have great reviews, they do NOT. This is someone in their home pretending to be a company. They are the lowest of the lows, the worst of the worst. This slimy company uses COVID-19 as a way to not deliver and cheat you out of a service fee they seem to feel entitled to after lying to you, and cheating you out flowers for your loved one. They are SCUM.
We ordered a bouquet for Mothers Day and girl nothing near what we ordered. Totally unhappy and feeling ripped off.
I really appreciate that you are delivering with no contact, I think that is a really great idea. My mother is 93 years old and I worrying about her during these times. I could not be with her this year and I am thankful that I can send her some small token of my love even if it does not arrive on the exact day. I appreciate the extrordinary effort Avas Flowers must be making to try and get things delivered. So despite what some of people might say about your service I appreciate everything you are doing.
My flowers have not been delivered yet and I ordered them on Saturday morning. I read there Covid policy on their website and noted that delivery was on a flex schedule and could arrive onm a range of days. The flowers are for Mothers Day so regardless on their staed policy they should be delivered on Mother Day. I gave them a full day to get the order to my Mom but nothing yet. This Covid thing is getting me upset and I dont understand my it should be difficult to get flowwers delivered.
I have to give you your props your company is the only one that gave me a chance to get flowers to my Mother some other sites just could not get them them their anywhere close to Mothers Day. I understand that you have some delivery problems problems in that so many florists are closed in many states due to the pandemic. Having flowers shipped by a carrier is a good idea and everyone knows that deliveries these dats are sometimes delayed. These people complaining just annoy me dont they relaize what is happening in the county or the world in fact. Thank you for being open and helping me send my love to my mother even if it is a bit late.
I would to give your my respect for your services during this difficult time. I like how you prominently display your Covid-19 policy at the top of your website. I understand the reasoning and up front stating your reasons for this policy. I am just happy I can send something to my ma for Mother's Day and understand if the flowers do not arrive on that day and im sure my mother will do. Please continue what you are doing I think all these people complaining about delivery time are crazy anythinh I order takes longer to arrive now. I am just thankful that I get my deliveries at all.
What is up with substitutions, I ordered a mixed bouquet arrangement and it came with some differnt colors than what was depicted. I now the the website said some substitutions migt be required but that is for other people not me. I dont care if you have to drive 500 miles and pick the flowers yourselves I dont care. Dont give me give the Covid-19 excuse everyone knows that is just a goverment scam to gain more power over us. Just get me the exact flowers that I ordered even if someone else gets the virus that is not my concern.
I am sick and tired of people using Covid-19 as an excuse. I ordered flowers for my wife and the website stated that it was flex delivery meaning they would delivery with a range of days. They claim this is because of the current Covid problem. Of course they delivered it on the last day. I dont care about the safety of their workers or that they are having problems getting people to work. That is their problem not mine. I just wanted my flowers delivered on a certain day. Grab your workers and make them work I dont care iof they are sick stop making excuses.

The arrangement was the size of a sugar bowl with miniature lilys.
I called Ava's customer service EIGHT times. Each time I was disconnected... with intent.
They wait for you to state your business and all reps are instructed to disconnect all customers with billing issues. ALL CALLS Regarding complaints ARE INTENTIONALLY DISCONNECTED.
I tried emailing. They sent me a canned message to a web cite. The web cite is PROGRAMMED to REJECT the order number you were given.
IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE... AVAS FLOWERS HAS DESIGNED ((ALL)) THEIR "CUSTOMER SERVICE MECHANISMS TO (((REFUSE CONTACT.))))

What a horrible experience I have had with this company! Today is my anniversary and I paid extra for my flowers to be delivered BEFORE 2pm TODAY! It says I will not receive them till tomorrow... now tell me what good that is going to do me!. YOUR website did not say anything about them maybe being late at all until after this company took my money! I then received an email say pretty much opps! Horrible advertising!. This will be the first and last time I ever use this place again! I would really love to give y'all a public review as soon as I find out how!
I ORDERED FLOWERS FOR A FRIEND WAS CHARGED FOR THE DELIVERY AND NOW NOW IT IS DAY TWO AND NO FLOWERS... NEVER AGAIN WILL ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE... I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS FIRST. BETTER HAVE ALL THE STUFF I ORDERED OR WILL CALL THE BBB.
Answer: It's a scam. Very dishonest company. They advertise with a very detailed picture of their flowers, sizes and pricing. When my daughterv received these flowers they didn't look anything like the picture online. I wish I could attach a photo from my galleria for you to see. The picture tells the true story
Answer: I thought they were a local florist. Bc when I typed in the city and Avas Flowers popped up. They are NOT a local company and they are NOT a florist company per se. The Real business name is Flowers Tech Center, Inc... doing business as Avas flowers. They are out of New Jersey and they contracted florists in your local areas nationwide. They don't make the bouquets and the ones on the website are nowhere near to what you're getting. Which is CRAP! LEFTOVER flowers thrown together LAST minute and supposedly delivered fresh from their warehouse. FRAUD & SCAMMERS! Use your local florists or buy them from your grocery store which would be much better and NOT costly. Save yourself time, money and headaches from rude customer service reps and all you get is the run around and lies.
Answer: Phone tree hell. Very lengthy messages that you have to listen to in order to get the prompts.
