If I could give them zero stats I would, they not only ruined one of my husband's memorial services but two, I placed a total of 4orders for the 2 services and I only received 1item at each service, they ruined what was supposed to be closure, I never would have suspected that this would happen. They are absolutely horrible and I will never ever use them again for anything. I don't recommend them to anyone what so ever.
I ordered flowers for my mom early Friday morning. I had searched old Lyme florists. Ava's flowers came up first. They advertised same day delivery. The service charge of close to $30 was definitely unusual, thinking I was paying higher for same day deliver from a likely new mom and pops shop in the area. I got a confirmation that the flowers were delivered from the company and confirmation from my mother that she did not receive anything. Hoping that next day it would be delivered, I received a call from Ava's Flowers asking to postpone and would consider giving me $15 off to allow them to deliver on Monday. This blew my mind. What a horrible company.
Very unprofessional and misleading, I ordered the sunset on Belize arrangements and received it a day after delivery dates. The flowers that I receive was different from what I seen on their website the colors, the size everything was totally different from what was listed. I paid $70 and it was nowhere near $70 quality. As I received the flowers I am very disappointed and they will not have the pleasure of receiving my business never again and I do not recommend this place to no one.
I put in an order for a sympathy flower spray for my dad. But he said he rather we donate to charities to honor my brother's memory. Avas Flowers called me three times and left messages asking me to call them back. Finally I pick up their call and for them just to tell me that that can't cancel the order even though there is a lot of time since the flower delivery was for the following day, not same day. Today is the delivery day and it hasn't been delivered. During the phone call, the woman on the phone said that it would be delivered before noon and that yes they could deliver to rural areas. I spent well over $150 for the worst flower delivery service. I hope that when my family finally receives the arrangement is at least well made.
I thought this was a local florist from a google search but they are in another state. They are not locally owned and operated like their message states. Flowers were ordered Sat for a Monday delivery to my uncle's funeral and they never arrived! They promised delivery and did not follow through. I called and demanded a refund since they already took my money and I'm currently waiting on that now. Very disappointing! Do not use this company it's a scam!
Wish I had read the reviews before I placed my order. Called on Friday to have flowers delivered on Saturday and was told I would get an email after they had been delivered. By Saturday afternoon, when I hadn't heard anything, I called them only to find that my order would not be delivered until Monday. My sister was having her last chemo treatment and we wanted flowers delivered to her on that day only! By then, it was too late to have another florist deliver that day. They offered me $10 off if I would keep the order… Told them that I wouldn't keep the order even if they did it for free. I don't reward bad behavior or bad business.
Ordered a bouquet, and. Got a standard bouquet left w/unnamed person somewhere in the hospital after paying for the fullest version of the bouquet. The balloons I paid for were supposed to say "get well." My family had to wander the hospital looking for it. The teddy never got delivered.
These guys are absolutely worthless. DO NOT order flowers from these clowns. They kept pushing back the delivery date on various occasions with awful input or communication skills. I had contacted them multiple times with very extensive hold times and each time it was an absolute struggle. The last message I had received was another message pushing back my order. When I contacted them I had explained I was tired of the run around and unfulfilled promises. I wanted my order taken care of. After explaining I didn't want them to push the delivery date back AGAIN they put me on hold during mid conversation and completely cut me off. After 30 minutes of holding time I hung up and was going to call back later as I was busy at work. A minute later I received a text stating they gave me a refund and canceled my order. These guys have far BELOW average customer service and the service they provide they do a poor job of. Save your time, money, and frustration and order elsewhere. Would give zero stars if I could. I am beyond livid with this pitiful company. After calling back to their customer service it was 10-15t minutes of holding just to be transferred to another department. I was transferred to 5 different departments and none of them had a solution to the issue, they would just pass me along to the next. These guys were atrocious and I highly advise no one to give your money to these guys. I've never been more dissatisfied and upset with any other business ever. Absolute headache and clown employees. No picture because no purchase/product received.
I ordered flowers for a funeral and what an embarrassment! They misspelled my name and the flowers are not what I ordered! They look cheap and smaller than what I ordered! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!
I ordered flowers a month in advance for my mothers birthday. On her birthday they didn't deliver the flowers and when I called they gave me $10 refund for my $200 flowers and told me they would call me back with an update. I had to call them back 6 hours later and still no resolve. Then they told me they would deliver them two days late and give me another $10 dollars off it's unacceptable.
My friend is in Boston hospital terminal. She loves sunflowers. I ordered a vase with large bouquet of JUST sunflowers. She received a small bouquet of yellow generic flowers with a couple roses. Nothing like what I ordered or the price I paid. They nickle and dime in ribbon, vase and 25.00 service charge! How can they get away with sending something that was totally cheaper and not what was ordered? Not even a phone call to say sorry we don't have what you ordered but would you be interested in something else for less money. Nope, charged me the full boat for gorgeous huge bouquet of sunflowers for something a notch above carnations and not a single sunflower in the bunch! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS DISHONEST BUSINESS! YOU WON'T GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR! I wish I had read the bad reviews before ordering from them. I don't know how they are still in business. What a scam they are running!
I will never use your company again. Not only were you unable to deliver a timely sympathy flower arrangement to a dear friend, your customer service needs an overhaul on dealing with clients. When a customer wants to cancel an order, we don't want a lousy ten percent discount to deliver something after a funeral.
Ordered funeral flowers for my friend's mother's funeral. Specifically requested a basket - got a cheap plastic vase. Said no carnations. There were carnations, and cheap purple fillers. Worst of all the arrangement cost $180.00 but looked like a $49.99 arrangement. Extremely disappointed and embarrassed for what showed up under my name. On a one to 10 scale, I give them a 2 -for delivering timely, and to the right funeral location. Do yourself a favor and find another florist.
I ordered a dozen long-stem roses to have delivered to our hotel room in Maui to celebrate our 10-year anniversary. I placed the order five days in advance and was promised they would be delivered to our hotel room either Sunday evening or Monday morning. (The day of our anniversary.) I asked several times; "Are you sure you can deliver on Sundays and holidays?" "Oh yes, this delivery is guaranteed."
Monday came and went with no flowers, AND, no email, text, or call letting me know the status of the order. I called in on Tuesday morning and only got an automated system. They called back a few hours later and said they could deliver them on Wednesday, which was two days past our anniversary, PLUS, the day we were leaving Hawaii.
I can't tell you how disappointed in them. I highly recommend YOU NOT use this service.

I placed an order for a funeral arrangement and they ended up delivering the arrangement 4 days later after the funeral. It was really embarrassing. They lie to you, first they said the type of flowers were not available then they said they couldn't find the location, but they never call to confirm.
I bought a bouquet for my mother from these scam artists the day before Mother's Day, but after making the payment, I checked the receipt they'd emailed me and saw that they'd charged me a $27.94 "service fee" that was not listed on the bill when I made the payment. I immediately tried cancelling the order online, and I received an automatic message saying that I couldn't cancel the order. I immediately emailed them asking to cancel the order and issue me a 100% refund, and they never responded. I called them as well and no one picked up. They delivered the order the next day, and when I called them again after to get my money back, they never answered. I contacted my bank to dispute the payment, and Avas Flowers flat out lied, saying I'd never contacted them about a refund so they were denying my request. Clearly this company is designed to scam people and then insulate themselves from any negative feedback. They don't answer when you contact them, and they add hidden charges that are probably written in microscopic text at the bottom of the page or something. They clearly don't exist to help customers, but rather scam them out of their money.
I ordered the, "My Sun, Moon, and Stars" flowers and my significant other received flowers that look absolutely NOTHING like what I had ordered. I completely understand that there could be substitutions according to their policy but when my flowers look NOTHING like what I ordered, I was very agitated! I submitted a problem with my order and they were very understanding, UNTIL the recipient received a phone call the following day cursing her out for it! I will never recommend this company to anyone! Here is a picture of what I order and a picture of what I received. Not to mention, some of the flowers were dead upon arrival!
I tried to place my order for my daughters 21st birthday on the 28th. Completely overpriced and the flower arrangement I ordered didn't even show up. I wasted over $80 on the worst arrangement I've ever seen. The 1 advertised was beautiful full of white and yellow flowers the 1 that showed up was an 80s pink and white bouquet. Never again ever. Very dissatisfied and I'm sure she was too. Would love a refund right now feeling catfished by the false advertisement what I ordered and what she received
This was the worst flower delivery experience I have ever had in my life.
1. Once you put in all your credit card info and notes and ready to place order they add a $25 service fee. This is even after the promo code for free delivery fee which is only $9.99.
2. It gives an option to put in delivery notes. I put in please do not deliver earlier than 3:30 so she will be home (I didn't order until 11:00 same day) They ignored the notes and tried to deliver earlier. When she wasn't home they did not leave the flowers there. Instead they called & texted my daughter at work and told her she would need to pick them up!
3. When I tried to cancel the order online it would not let me cancel same day delivery. So I tried to call the number that texted her and it did not work. I tried to call the number on the website and sat on hold forever and had to hang up (never talked to a person) then I emailed them twice and never got a reply. She texted them and told them she could not pick them up and they kept telling her to schedule a time to pick them up for days!
This was a surprise for my daughter for a special day and they completely ruined the surprise! It also just caused her stress since she did not have time to pick them up and should not have to pick up her own gift! There's no way to get help from anyone. 3 days later someone called her and delivered them. We did not want them anymore, they were not special anymore, they were ONLY meant for a surprise since I could not see her that day, 3 days later these flowers meant nothing and I had already got her something else that was after the special day. I wasted $80 and I am SO disappointed and unhappy, I have never in my life had a bad experience sending flowers until now! I wanted to cancel and get a refund but no one would get back to me. I also can't find anywhere to leave a review on their website so I am not sure the good reviews are even real.
I ordered flowers for a dear friends 82 birthday and paid extra to make sure delivered on her birthday and wasn't delivered. Tried all day yesterday to get a response on way and nothing. Finally got ahold of someone today said try to get delivered tomorrow. I have used this company three times and every time had issues. DONE!
Answer: Scam! They are not a local company, they cannot deliver, and if they do, apparently they are completely wrong or dead flowers. They don't want to deliver flowers for you... they are after your $30 service fee. They hope you cancel your order and they keep the fee. STAY CLEAR! No customer service and a website full of legalese... can you appear any more fraudulent? A scam, a fraud, a company that uses COVID-19 and your mother (Mother's Day) to steal money from the public. They need to be in jail.
