I picked Ava's on line while awaiting a flight. I paid $114 for an orchid that I requested have two flowering branches with lots of buds. It is a very poor specimen that is well past its prime and I would never use Ava's again.
My daughter ordered sunflowers thinking of Ukraine. The water look green when received but I was busy and 3 Days later changed it. Only to find the stems were mushy and slimy. Through them out. I'm a busy person I called the company about a week later. They could not find the order they couldn't use my daughter's telephone number to find it and sent me to another telephone number. I called that number later in the month and was told by someone named Fran that they will replace the flowers when available. THAT NEVER HAPPENED. I thought it was because sunflower season was over I don't know how that works. So I called again recently with dates times who I talk to and said I never received any flowers in its place. Michelle is the one who checked and said after 48 hours we can do nothing. She was very nice about it but this is a warning to anyone who buys from them. Take out the flowers check that they're fresh that the water is fresh and call immediately if anything is wrong. Otherwise you're out of luck. I didn't want to tell my daughter because I was embarrassed that her thoughtful gift was screwed up for mother's Day
DON'T USE Ordered flowers and were delivered to the wrong house. No refund or replacement was offered.
I ordered flowers for the funeral of a member of my family. I paid extra to get the product to look the same as in the picture advertising. However, what was delivered to the Funeral Home was nothing like in the advertisement regarding the number of flowers and the arrangement. I considered this false advertising. One should not trust this business that has provided products/services based on false advertising.
They tacked on a $28 "fee" for a local flower shop then didn't make the delivery date which was my daughters birthday, They told me I would receive a 40% discount for delivering the arrangement a day late. The refunded me $20 for a $108.00 order! So much for 40%! BEWARE!
I ordered the sun moon and stars came with only white and yellow flowers and no base they were in highly don't recommend if your in northern Maine
The flowers were extremely overpriced, was not what was ordered, and did not have the card with the arrangement even close. Really bad company and service. DO NOT USE AVAS FLOWERS. I should have believed all the negative reviews.
This is a horrible place to get flowers. They do not do what they say they will do and refuse to refund no matter what the issue is. They are a call center that brokers out flower orders. The flowers are never what you order! BUYER BEWARE
I was guaranteed a delivery time. Item never I arrived when I asked why they said they don't guarantee delivery time. Now they refuse to cancel my order and give me a refund
The flowers can't be found, says to be delivered, after already 4 days late. Awful service. I have never had this problem with any other online ordering.
I didn't check reviews and too late when I saw the reviews of this Avas Flower scammer. They charged an additional USD25 plus tax fees cost me over USD100 and they are not reachable /contactable due to an international buyer when I'm asking for refund, I ordered flowers for my friend in the USA for her bday. The flower never exist. Disaster. I really hope the local police do something about this scammer. Its about time, one day these scammers face their own karma ripping off people's money.
Flowers arrived on time and exactly the way I ordered them! I was surprised because the reviews of the company are really bad. However, my experience was great. I was also able to talk to customer service twice to inquire on the status of the delivery.
I ordered a sympathy bouquet and paid extra for same-day service. Maybe 30 minutes later, I get a text saying that what I ordered is unavailable and they've made a substitution "at no additional cost." Of course now it's after the same-day cutoff time, so 1) they want to push it to the next day, and 2) their substitution was a bright, colorful, springy/tulip-y happy day flower arrangement, to replace my white-ish sympathy arrangement. So I call, and it begins. A death in the family that day, and she's actually arguing with me, talking over me, and trying to sales pitch me. Long story short, I'm... let's just call it "impolite" enough to shut her down - I got the refund. But no, like someone else said, they're not local - they're a call center. I found a local that had a better selection and saved $40 on top of it. Don't waste your time with Avas, espcially if you have more important things to put your energy into than arguing with a socially inept telephone clerk.
Ordered flowers and they never arrived. Website is a scam. Phone support no help. Just going to do a charge back.
I ordered a $100 bouquet to be sent to my aunt for the death of her son. What was delivered was a bouquet with 9 flowers in it! Do not use them!
I ordered flowers from this company in the amount of $150 for a funeral. They told me they would inform upon delivery. That never happened. I tracked the order and was informed it had been delivered. I contacted the funeral home. They said they had no such delivery. I was then responsible for contacting Ava's, who told me "Oh, it says delivered because it left the florist. It will be there by 7pm and we will notify you". 9pm came and no notification. I called the funeral home. They said "We close at 6pm and we didn't get any flowers". The next day I was charged with calling Ava's again. This time they said, "Yeah... we haven't been able to get in contact with the florist, so they may not have actually sent the flowers. We will find another florist and get it delivered ASAP". They claimed they would let me know when they arrived. Well of course, no notification and I was tasked with having to call them AGAIN! I mean. There is already death in the family... do you have no sympathy! They say it's delivered and so I call the funeral home to verify (because of course I can't trust Ava's at this point). Yes, they have the delivery, they confirmed. But no, it wasn't what I paid for. No Banner... which cost me an additional $10. No stand, though I ordered a standing arrangement. I was told it was in a. I quote "easter basket". I AM DONE WITH THIS COMPANY!
I ordered a floral arrangement with the promise of same day delivery. I called the company to get more information on the local florist they were supposedly using. I was given the name of a local business: William Paul Floral Design in Austin and called the florist at *******476. When speaking with the clerk however, they received no such order, told me they do not take orders from Avas Flowers and also told me they are a well known scam internet business. Within 5 minutes of having originally placed my order, I called Avas flowers and they refused to refund me. I pressed them about the lie and asked them what other local florists they supposedly use and was then told they couldn't tell me due to "florist privacy laws". I laughed. They immediately charged my credit card though no flowers were ever delivered. I called three more times and told them I had already reported this to my credit card company and I was going to make every effort to shut them down. They used stall tactics. A
The fourth agent admitted the flowers were never delivered. I reported this to the NJ BBB also and filed a formal complaint. I'm probably not going to be out any money, but as a hard working, honest American who served her country honorably, it makes me so angry. I took the time to post this because I want to warn others. Check out Ava Flowers scam on Facebook. Yup, there's a whole Facebook page on them. Sad to take advantage of people in this way.
Didn't get what was advertised very poor quality. Will never use this company again. What I ordered vs what I received. What I ordered vs what I received.
I ordered a bouquet to be delivered on a Monday. On Tuesday i received a text or email asking for a code... I called them and they told me they didn't have the flowers i ordered so i ordered another bouquet. They said it would be delivered on Wednesday and i said that was too late and she assured it would be delivered the next day, Tuesday. On Wednesday still no delivery! These flowers were for a Sympathy! So Wednesday she told me it should be delivered by FRIDAY! I was in tears and told them to refund my money which they did. My friend, whos father passed away understood but i felt like a complete fool as if i didn't care about her father! If your flowers are important to you, then use another company, not Eva's Flowers!
I WISH THEY WOULD ALLOW 0 STARS. THE WORSE COMPANY, NOTHING BUT AGGRAVATION...
I ordered flowers to be delivered same day
They never got there. I contacted Avas and they said their was a problem they would deliver them tomorrow. I informed Avas that they were going to patient in the hospital and they would be released at 3pm from the hospital so the flowers needed to be there before 3 pm. Avas said no problem. I called early the next day to make sure they would get there in time. I confirmed all the info and. After being on hold forever was informed they were out for delivery at 12.20pm. At around 5 pm I received an email from Avas they were just delivered. So I called Avas got the run around, called back got caught in there system hung up and received a call from a nice lady from a different company that Avas subed out the order to, wanting to confirm the address, than informed me they did not handle the area the flowers needed to go to but since I had such a horrible situation with Avas they would deliver it for me. So I called Avas again and explain to them of their mess up and the aggravation they have caused between all the calls and the aggravation that the flowers weren't delivered yet.
Horrible company, horrible customer service, They are unaware on what goes on and when I saw the invoice saw they charge an extra fee for processing because they sub conontract the flowers and not actually a store... DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM THEY ARE THE WORSE IN MY OPION...
Answer: Scam! They are not a local company, they cannot deliver, and if they do, apparently they are completely wrong or dead flowers. They don't want to deliver flowers for you... they are after your $30 service fee. They hope you cancel your order and they keep the fee. STAY CLEAR! No customer service and a website full of legalese... can you appear any more fraudulent? A scam, a fraud, a company that uses COVID-19 and your mother (Mother's Day) to steal money from the public. They need to be in jail.
Answer: You cannot. Their number is an automated attendant that hangs up on you and email is unmonitored. This is a scam.
Answer: Sometimes easy and quick is mot the way to go when it comes to a loved one. I learned my lesson.
