Paid $99 for flowers which were almost completely substituted with cheap alternates - carnations, roses were not fresh and wilting upon delivery. Only 2 types of flowers when picture indicated 3. UGLY and CHEAP. Customer service app does not allow your complaint to complete and you cannot call and talk to a person.
Ordered flowers for sons funeral. Adequate time for florist to fulfill order. My 3 daughters also ordered flowers. All paid for on line. On evening of viewing at funeral home, our flowers were not there as promised. Checked with funeral director who confirmed that no flowers had arrived. My daughters called Avas only to confirm our order had been received but was not able to be filled. What? No phone call or any notification from Avas. These flowers were for my son! How could they do such a thing? Yes we were given a refund a few days later but that did nothing to produce the hundreds of dollars worth of flowers that we ordered for my son!

Order an item iff web site and when it gets delivered it is half the size less colored flowers and all green shrub like junk. They still charged the same price. STAY AWAY FROM THEM
I thought since they were the first company to pop up when I searched flowers in the area that they were a reputable company. I was very wrong. The woman on the phone was very helpful and talk to me right through the whole process. She even insisted on staying on the phone with me while I punched in my payment card. Something kept telling me it wasn't right, but I was the one who called them. My flowers were never delivered but they were sure to take my money quickly. Every time I try to get customer service, they hang up on me. I should've read reviews first. I'm so mad at myself for getting scammed.
I ordered the, " Love In Bloom " bouquet for my wife to be delivered on her birthday which was this past Tuesday. The flowers never got delivered. I called Ava's and they swore it was delivered. They delivered it to the wrong address obviously. Avas said they would re-deliver Wednesday, no delivery again! They promised they would definitely deliver by Friday morning, which was yesterday. It was finally delivered yesterday evening! The flowers were all yellow and nothing even remotely close to what I ordered two and a half weeks ago ‼ Needless to say, I will never do business with them ever again ‼ I paid $67 for the bouquet and my wife got $5 worth of flowers and extremely late‼ Avas florets is the worst I have ever dealt with and I will NEVER order from them again‼
RUINED OUR ANNIVERSARY! Placed an order over a month ahead of delivery date. Paid every premium payment option available to ensure the best flowers and timely delivery. Still failed to deliver flowers by promised time, when I called I spoke with someone who claimed they spoke with the deliverer and assured me that it will be delivered today and that they would contact me proactively when it happens. Two hours later I call back, still no delivery, and they claim that the delivery for today was cancelled and they will attempt delivery tomorrow. Tomorrow is not my anniversary, today is, and I provided over 30 days worth of notice for this delivery to happen. Avoid this scam of a company.
I was so disappointed/embarrassed with the flowers they delivered they charged me 1,314.75 to be exact I specifically asked for red and white roses I ordered eight wreaths I ordered a heart a cross angel wings I asked for ribbons that said beloved son brother uncle friend and not one was delivered they charge me for every single thing I asked for and the day of the ceremony they had only dropped off random things north I asked for it was so embarrassing I don't recommend no one to this place they let us down there was no do overs this was a one time thing our goodbyes and they pull this crap by far the worst Service So disappointed the first picture is what we received the second picture is what the advertised they ruined my brothers funeral
I place a order and paid a 24.95 delivery fee plus flower and they assured the flowers would be there. It was for a 7 year old whos daddy pasted away and TODAY is his birthday. They messaged me at 2pm to say sorry they can not be delivered today but they will be there tomorrow... NO UNACCEPTABLE! They did nothing to try to rectify the situation to get the flowers there TODAY! THEY ARE A AWLFUL COMPANY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

I ordered a blue and white sympathy standing basket. (Total cost $127.81) what I got was 6 cut stems in a clear vase. I will never use them again. The first picture is what I ordered, the second was what I got.
If I could give them ZERO stars I would. Ordered a peace lily plant for a close family member's funeral- paid $125 plus tax and they delivered a tiny plant that was half dead and looked like a total eye sore. (See photos). Please do not use this service, the quality is horrendous!
They do not care about costumer and costumer service. I called and they accepted the sympathy order to get ready by 3:00-3:15 but it was not delivered until i left home at 4:30. I was late and. I left home without any flowers. I called to let them know that I didn't receive it but no one answered and it was just a mashine message. I am so disappointed. Even there was not any way to cancel the order.

My boyfriend ordered 2 dozen roses we received 3 flowers total an we were told 11 am they arrived at 7 pm. This is a awful buisness. Buyers beware!
They didnt have the right flowers and called to tell me. Then they called me a few hours later and said the same thing again, not knowing they had already called. Then they didnt deliver on the right day and never let me know. Customer service agents barely spoke English. Dont use them. Too unreliable.
Delivered product was poor quality and nothing like the description on website or promised by the representative. "Lavender Spray" was delivered as a poor quality "White Spray". So very sorry I did not read the reviews before purchasing.
I tried to order some flowers from my wife yesterday Friday Sept 9th to be delivered to her at the school she teaches at. I was away for the weekend with my son and I ordered the flowers and paid for them and they were never delivered. I found out they sent me a text saying the delivery people couldn't do it but I had no way of knowing this becuase I was not with my phone. So not only did she not get her flowers but they tried everything to deliver them the next day which would have been no good because she was not at school and I wanted them delivered to her there. And they absolutely did not want to give me a refund which the finally did after being on the phone for 40 minutes. They really really messed up the surprise for my wife They should have just told me from the beginning they couldn't do it. Plus there telephone assistance department is terrible. They disconnected me two times after being transferred three times. It was very frustrating.
I would not give them one star if that option was possible. STAY AWAY! The service fee for my $55 order was $28.99 More than 50% of price of flowers. They misrepresent who they are and where they are located. I called the 800 phone to inquiry as to the high price I was told "all the florists do it" Charge a consumer $28? No they don't! On 9/2/22 I ordered a large bouquet of flowers for my daughter's birthday. Her birthday was on 9/5. When I ordered them Avas stated that they would be delivered on 9/3 or 9/6 at the latest. On 9/6, in the middle of the day, I was notified that there was a problem with my order. So I called them. First person I spoke with stated that the flowers would not be delivered that day to her place of work and that they needed an alternate address. I had multiple questions regarding WHY! Never got a decent answer. So I called them back with other address. When I called back this time, I ended up having to speak with someone else. This person told me that not only were flowers not going to be delivered that day but also they couldn't send anything close to what I had ordered. Of course I wasn't happy. She told me they would take 50% of my order of $92.00 and that they could offer me a "nice green plant" or an Orchid. I told her no. This was to be an arrangement of fresh cut flowers for a birthday. I told her I wanted to cancel my order. She said 3 more times about plants and Orchid. She said she would call a local florist and see about their flowers. I said to her" I thought your were a local florist according to your website." So then she tells me that she will upgrade to twice the size/amount of flowers and take 50% off. I then told her that I thought you didn't have any fresh cut ones. So after ALL of this they delivered the following day what looked like a $3.00 grocery store bouquet of broken stemmed, crappy flowers! So I got back in touch to get a refund and all I got was $20.00 back. This company is the WORST EVER! They are a scam! I take blame for not reading more reviews than I did. If I had, I would of known about their Class Action Lawsuit and all of the negative reviews! HORRIBLE! Don't EVER use this company! The only way I could leave a review was to mark a star. They definitely don't deserve even a one star rating!
Ordered flowers with a same day, 4 PM delivery. Unfortunately, the flowers were not delivered to the recipient and no communication was forthcoming to the senders acknowledging a delay.
Spoke to customer service that evening. The rep gave us a $10 refund for the inconvenience and a promise to deliver the next day.
Next day comes and the flowers still have not arrived. Called and spoke to customer service again. This time the rep stated that they have not been able to contact the delivering flower shop for 48 hours. In other words, they accepted our order without even calling to confirm that they had the capacity to deliver.
Again-customer service rep offered a $10 refund and guaranteed delivery the next business day. I politely declined and stated to cancel the order and provide us a full refund.
I am currently in the midst of a one hour phone call in which the supervisor, who does not come in the line, has to approve the refund.
Off to the file a complaint with the BBB, FTC, and post on every review site possible. Awful experience
I paid $99 for a 2-stemmed orchid and was assured on the phone that the plant would be sufficient in size for the price. I also paid $57 for shipping and tax for a total of $156! My brother sent me a photo of the flowers they had received, which was for their new-home gift and I was dumbfounded at the size of the orchid, which was equivalent to a $20 orchid I could buy at the store. I called Avas and requested they deliver the size orchid I had paid for and they said they would need to pick it up first before replacing it! That is ludicrous and rude to have my brother disappointed by having to do a return! They also offered a $49.99 refund (which is the "starting" price they actually have on their website) and I requested a full refund because they cannot guarantee that the 2nd arrangement would be any bigger than the first! Needless to say, I am not receiving any refund. They can keep my money if they are that desperate even though their flowers and customer service fall well below what I paid for. ALSO, SHAME ON ME BECAUSE I DIDN'T READ THE 155 1-STAR REVIEWS BEFORE I ORDERED!
Answer: Scam! They are not a local company, they cannot deliver, and if they do, apparently they are completely wrong or dead flowers. They don't want to deliver flowers for you... they are after your $30 service fee. They hope you cancel your order and they keep the fee. STAY CLEAR! No customer service and a website full of legalese... can you appear any more fraudulent? A scam, a fraud, a company that uses COVID-19 and your mother (Mother's Day) to steal money from the public. They need to be in jail.
