I so wish I had looked at their horrible reviews before ordering flowers through them. I'd attach my receipt but they never emailed it to me despite 2nd request that they do so. It's extremely difficult to contact them with concerns because you only get a recorded message about "flex delivery" followed by "good bye." I finally was put in touch with someone who was supposed to help me with cancelling my order-- because I realized they'd lied to me -- and that person tried to get me to accept the removal of one charge from the order and eventually offered to help me with cancelling my order; he then put me on hold for what was supposed to only be "2-3 minutes." Do NOT use Avas. Check out their lousy record with BBB, Complaints Board, and complaints against their NJ center on PeopleClaim (https://www.peopleclaim.com/complaint-history/avas-flowers---flower-tech-center-inc-mahwah-nj-*******). Will see if the flowers arrive and post photos if as reviews suggest they're as lousy as the rest of their service.
I spent over an hour of my time (an hour I'll never get back again) looking on their website. I chose an arrangement@ $69.00 I called them this a.m. to order, they were nice and helpful. However-- once we got the details worked out and she added up the charges she quoted a total of $118.00! The rep tried to tell me that it included a $24 UNIVERSAL Floral fee that ALL flower shops charge. I refused to pay it and after considerable debate she actually hung up on me. RUN---

Never ever use this place it's just a call center, I orderd A very colorful arrangement spent close to 100.00 I ordered it on Oct 28 to be delivered on October 31 2022. On the day they were saposed to be delivered I get a notice that there's a problem with my order. They tell me not only that they can't deliver my order but that I can't have the arrangement I orderd because they don't have the flowers. The offerd a replacement of florest choice and assured me that it would be just as nice. Well I got garbage I paid close to 100.00 for something even Kroger wouldn't sell. The arrangement that is very colorful with Purple and red is what I orderd, second is what I got, plane boring and not worth 100.00. Avoid using this florest the are scam artists and should be shut down.
THEY SAY SAME DAY, NOT TRUE, I ORDERED FLOWERS AT 2 AM FOR A 2PM DELIVERY, PAID THE EXTRA, THEY CALLED AND SAID BEFORE 5, I TOLD THEM MY WIFE WILL NOT BE THERE AT FIVE THATS WHY I WANTED THEM BEFORE 2, THEN I PUT THE ORDER NUMBER IN AND ITS SAYS DELIVERY THE NEXT DAY, THIS IS BS, WHY CAN'T PEOPLE JUST DO WHAT PEOPLE SAY OR ADVERTIZE, NEVER AGAIN, I'LL BUY 2 DOZEN ROSES FROM WALMART AND DELIVER MYSELF, BIG JOKE!
Ordered flowers for my wife Oct 25 for same day they said no problem, Oct 26 they are letting me know there was a issue with the arrangement but they can deliver Oct 27, there is no Avas flowers, just use your ocal florist if you ask me
Do not order from this site... unfortunately i did... it posts that the flowers r less expensive than other sites... it also posts that it's local to your location for delivery... it's not... i fell for it and for a less than $30.00 order i was charged over $60.00... dont order from them, please... my mistake
Absolutely positively DO NOT use the florist, one hour before the wake I never got an email, I called them they told me they were UNABLE to deliver nobody in the company speaks English VERY dissatisfied
Do not order from this company. Immediately charged my account. My daughter got engaged out of town. I was promised the same day delivery to the resort they were staying at Spent $130 in flowers chocolates and a card. By the end of the day there was nothing sent. They wouldn't take my call it was linked to the order number. Upon using another phone I was able to speak to a representative they hung up on me put me on hold transferred me. Long story short never was able to talk to anyone. I reported this as fraudulent after reading numerous scam reviews for this company.
I let the phone ring and ring... Now I find out it was not the 'Local Floral shop" and then the "extra" service charge was almost as much a the price of the Bouquet itself. That was the reason for my phone call.
Flowers not delivered as promised. Extremely difficult to talk to a person. Never again. Refund of $5.00. Refused to cancel.
Long story short I was promised a same day surprise delivery. After 3 calls confirming it was delivered it actually had not been delivered and a representative went as far as calling the recipient to confirm delivery and ruined the entire surprise. Needless to say the flowers were never delivered and the entire experience is infuriating. I will never recommend this company to family nor friends… Even enemies for that matter. However I will share my horrible experience via social media and word of mouth every chance I get.
Do not use. Did not get the arrangement I ordered. Was 12 roses stuck in a vase with on arrangement.
Substitute flowers were used, with my approval. When I saw the flower arrangement that was delivered, I was livid, it was absolutely terrible. I could do a better job, and I'm not a florist. It was atrocious. Avas flowers would not give me the name of the flower shop they used. 50% refund? OK. Wasn't 50%. I will never use Avas again, EVER. If i could give minus stars for a review, I would. -5 stars.
Worst customer service ever. Had flowers sent to a friend for her birthday and the flowers arrived moldy and fell apart immediately.
Contacted them-was offered a new delivery or 50% off the price I paid as a refund. Told them I wanted a full refund and they informed me they would have to send the florist out to retrieve the arrangement to assess it and determine if a refund would be made. What the actual hell?
My friend is already mad at me because the arrangement look so $#*!ty, and I'm supposed to tell her that the floor is just gonna come and take her back?
Ordered a $120 flower arrangement for my wife when she brought it home I seen what was sent I was furious. It looked like a $30 arrangement. Nothing like the flowers I ordered. I will NOT be using Ava's again as I was ripped off. I don't recommend Ava's. When I complained they offered me $20. Lol
Will never use this service again! Flowers were not delivered and they even had the nerve to try to get me to accept a delivery the next day for 10 dollars off in which my anniversary would be over by then, beware! If I could give a zero star I would.
I live in Illinois and order flowers for a wake in Florida. Avas promised to deliver the flowers on 10/02/2022 to the funeral home by 11:00am. The flowers never made it to the funeral home. How disappointing! I paid 133.69
My mom ordered flowers for my birthday and was charged over $100. She ordered a large flower arrangement with balloons. The balloon were never delivered and the arrangement was very small and the flowers look liked they were picked from a garden. My mom was so disappointed on the size, price and customer service.
My bf sent me flowers from them today in GA, and I can't express how disappointed we are with their services! Never again will we use Avas Flowers, he spoke with sales rep at 9am this morning and was told it would arrive no later than 12. By 3pm he texted me asking if i received anything at my job, to which I replied no, so he reached out to your agency and was told they would be out to me soon. He was so upset, he was trying to surprise me at work & they ended up calling me to let me know the driver was an hour away. At 4:20 she said would try to make it by 6, & I asked she call me when she reached the area bc my job closes at 5 and I would gladly meet with her. By 5:35 I had called & texted multiple times to which I received no response. She texted me at 5:51 "I took it to your job". I texted back to see if she left it with someone there or if she simply left it outside? After several messages, I received NO REPLY! Luckily. I went to my job (which btw is on a busy road) & sure enough they were outside the door. Keep in mind there is currently an advisory for bad weather starting today due to the hurricane! If I wouldn't have gone to check, they could have been stolen or damaged! My bf spent good money trying to surprise me & was so upset about the entire thing. I loved his efforts, but this company ruined the entire experience! The arrangements was VERY poorly organized as well, my nearest grocery store has better arrangements than what I received, especially considering the cost! I hope no one uses them bc they will unfortunately be disappointed, worst experience EVER! SMH!
Don't use this company - misled me on price, gave false information regarding delivery expectations, didn't deliver flowers to the right location (still don't know where they were delivered) nor on time.
Answer: Scam! They are not a local company, they cannot deliver, and if they do, apparently they are completely wrong or dead flowers. They don't want to deliver flowers for you... they are after your $30 service fee. They hope you cancel your order and they keep the fee. STAY CLEAR! No customer service and a website full of legalese... can you appear any more fraudulent? A scam, a fraud, a company that uses COVID-19 and your mother (Mother's Day) to steal money from the public. They need to be in jail.
