Wish you had a Zero Star rating

Foolishly, I picked the first business on Google without checking reviews. Paid $100 for a centerpiece that was supposed to be delivered 12/17; never happened. Wrote a review on Facebook (that was quickly taken down). Received a call 12/18, guaranteeing delivery on 12/19. On 12/19, got ANOTHER call, saying it would DEFINITELY arrive on 12/20. Arrived after 4:30pm today. Photo on the left is what was advertised; photo on the right is what arrived. As you can see, the flowers are wilting; chances are it's been sitting in the shop for days. If you are considering doing business with Ava's Flowers, DO. NOT. WASTE. YOUR. MONEY!

Hidden service fee

Hidden service fee $24.95 no reason explained tacked on to order. Absolutely ridiculous that a service charge placed not in price. They give you free delivery coupon but tack on 24.95 complete rip off.

Disrespectful

Funeral flower arrangements arrived 1/2 hour late, walked in middle of mass to leave flowers up by the alter. Funerals are sad, but dropping of flowers half way thru is just plain disrespectful

Not good business

I ordered flowers for a friend who was in the hospital, I picked same day delivery, well the flowers never came and she was sent home. I called and they were nice enough to change the delivery to her address but couldn't explain.wjy they weren't delivered.the day before. Then later in the day I get a text that I need to pick different flowers so I go online to do that and find out they now can't deliver until the next week. I told them that was unacceptable since I paid for same day delivery, after two phone converaations I just asked for my money back and ordered from somewhere else. I thought I'd give them a try since they came up in a search and looked like a decent company, in future I'll stick to those I know. What a shame.

Ordered plant via phone in time for same day delivery. I agreed to next day delivery for best service. Email confirmed order then 3 hours before time set for delivery I received a notice arrangement unavailable. Stating they can quickly resolve issue but when contacted spent over 25 minutes on hold. Solution was to offer smaller arrangement that was listed for half the price. When told unacceptable hold again to come back with 10% off. Well that was the special they had on line for that day but it still cost more than smaller plant price on website. Issue resulted in order cancelation which also required another hold for her to come back later and say order canceled and you should receive an email.

Quick to bill and take your money. Absolutely the worst service ever. Was delivering on Tues and didn't arrive till late wednesday. NEVER AGAIN. Call 3 times and got the run around BS story. The internet web support is an even bigger joke. Their reviews are all self written. You can not give them a review on their site.

A family member passed suddenly. Four Western States away! The least we could do is send flowers. Flowers pictured on the website, after being ordered, we're "unavailable"! So, why are they pictured? Or at least marked "out of stock"? Extra money for a vase? $30 extra dollars for a "service fee"? Multiple phone calls later, can't have the flowers ordered, won't be delivered on time, almost two days later, and instead of 12 roses for over $100, three roses, three unopened lilies and two carnations? Pathetic attempt, and over-priced. Not worthy of my relatives memorial. Totally dissatisfied. Would NEVER recommend.

Surprise ending

Ordering Flowers from this place was OK until the last screen when suddenly there was a $25 "convenience fee" tacked on to the total without any previous warning. Convenient for whom? This quickly erased sny discounts offered on the menu. Buyer beware!

Ended up being Safeway Floral flowers.

The ordering process was simple and straightforward, and having images helped. I was surprised when my wife showed me the message, which was printed on the delivery information ticket. The surprising part was to learn that the order was sub-contracted out to Safeway Floral. At no point during the ordering process was it disclosed that I was buying flowers from Safeway Floral, which has a lower value perception, and in reality also has a lower price point than that of Avas Flowers! In other words, if I had wanted to buy from Safeway, I would have done so - instead I purchased what I thought were "premium flowers" and paid quite a bit higher than the value delivered. Lesson learned - won't be using this service again.

Not delivered

I recently ordered flowers for a visitation and funeral and the flowers were not there. I called customer service several times and got the run around. They told me that the flowers were given to the funeral director, but I looked at all the flowers and mine were not there. I never got a resolution or my money back. Don't use this company unless you have money to throw away.

I would not recommend this flower shop the flowers were not fresh at all they were half died. I order a big heart and thry send a small one with no banner. My bills was two hundred and 22 dollars and only got reimbursed 90 dollars I don't think I should for nothing they should took their flowers back.no happy woth their service. The 3rd picture shows how it should of looked like.

It's a scam

They pretend they are local but try to ask to go to the store try to get you to order from them. When you can go directly to a local florist and pay a better price and the florist makes more money. Just to a local florist. Stay away from huge mmarkups

SCAM ALERT!

Ya'll I don't do this usually but I feel the need to steer Ya'll away from scammers whenever possible.
So I purchased a dozen roses, "gourmet" chocolates, and card from this company TWO DAYS AGO, to be delivered on her birthday before 3pm. Not only did this company not get it done after charging me well over $100, but when they finally tried they simply dropped them off, without the chocolates at the gate outside Perkins. After hours. In the middle of Booker Park. This all after they refused to give me a refund the previous day.
Save yourself some money. Don't buy from Avas Flowers

Failed customer service

My review is going to be short and sweet I started out with a large flower arrangement for $56 I added a $4.99 card and I got free delivery but my bills team still came out to $103. Sad part about it is my sister's in the hospital she had quadruple heart bypass open heart surgery and I expected those flowers to be there today like they said they would and she never got them now my sister's going to be getting out of the hospital and I'm getting nothing but a big run around by this company and they sure do know how to pass the butt so my advice to buyers is beware they're not a local company they're all over the world and they utilize other people to run the business for them they get their plants and flowers from growers and sometimes all the other people could be the ones failing. Bottom line is you won't get your order when you ask for it, number two you're going to pay a lot more than what the website says and what customer service says while you're ordering, and I finally read other reviews and there's a lot of disappointment with the size of the the baskets I hope I'm not disappointed there. But I could tell you one thing they did not mention and that was a $28.75 service fee so even after free delivery of $56 flower order cost me $103 almost double and I got free delivery that was never delivered so good luck people I recommend you do shop locally people that deserve the money instead of somebody with a bright idea of creating websites to rip people off

I went to this website to buy my mother flowers for her birthday. She has stage 4 Pancreatic terminal cancer. She is fighting every day of her life to be with us and to be strong for herself. I wanted to make her happy with a beautiful bouquet of yellow roses from their site called Sun Moon and Stars which captured me cause that's what she is to all of us. They called the morning they were supposed to deliver and said they were out of chocolates and could replace with balloons. I said fine. I just wanted them to get to her. I awaited the the email all day to see if they had arrived. My mother texted me with a picture saying how happy she was and thank you. Of course she will always be grateful for anything we give her but it was so not at ALL what I ordered and the picture stated I would get EXACTLY as pictured. The yellow roses were there a few lilies but the rest that were supposed to be beautiful blueish purple small flower fillers were not there. Instead there were brownish half dead looking flowers that looked like they got stuffed in at the end real fast cause they got lost for time and that's all they had. It was a EXTREMELY HOT MESS! Also the beautiful blue vase that was showing in the picture was not holding my mothers flowers she had a clear vase. I called customer service to let them know the issue and was put on hold back and forth several times and told I was given ballon's as a discount and that's all they could do for now and let me see and that the clear vase was a substitute and I said no I feel that she should get exactly what was pictured as it says cause that's what I paid $125 for and she hung up on me. So I Mycroft will not be trusting a floral company to deliver flowers anymore because of this and will be getting them myself. This company is as shady as their half fead wilting fillers. Pleas take my advice and look somewhere else. I was told 1-800 Flowers is decent I myself will do my own shopping. I have included what I ordered versus what I got below. You make your decision.

Worst Service EverI

I order flowers for my goddaughter 's birthday the day before. I asked for the to be delivered before 2:00 that following day om her birthday. At 5:00 I called the shop because they had not made the delivery. They put me on hold and never returned. I called back after 20 minutes and got another person, who could not contact the local shop. I was told to wait until 7:00, and call back for an update. I paid $141.56 for flowers, and I am mad as Hell jockey stick. PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THESE PEOPLE.

Left out in the cold

Hey my name is Mitchell from sc I'm partially disabled. My father was dieing i worked on a drywall job so I would have money to see him he died while I was at work so I ordered the prettiest flowers I could find they never showed up sitting at home no flowers and no money thanks alot ava you suck
