Flower's ordered on Thursday and promised to deliver on Friday or Saturday or Sunday which was Mother's Day by 7:00pm. At 1:30 pm I received a text telling me my order was cancelled and was refunded, very disappointing as by then it was too late to order from another vendor
Ordered flowers the Friday before Mother's Day to be delivered on or before Mother's Day. Mother's Say comes and goes and the flowers aren't delivered. Noon on Monday they finally reach out because of a "problem" with the order. The "problem" …? They don't have the arrangement I selected from their website. They tell me this AFTER Mothers Day? They then offer to deliver a "designer selected" arrangement instead. What?!? What really nice flowers are even left after Mother's Day? For almost $100 with an egregious $28.95 service charge (!) you are going to send my recipient an arrangement of whatever flowers might be left?! AND deliver it a day late? No thanks. There is no excuse why they didn't contact me on Friday after the order was placed to make alternative arrangements. This was totally unacceptable.
I am very disappointed that I trusted Ava's flowers for my Mother's Day delivery. My order was placed 4 days in advance. I CAN NOT BELIEVE THAT A COMPANY WOULD CANCEL A MOTHERS DAY DELIVERY THE DAY THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO BE DELIVERED! Plus, they did not even call to advise, they simply sent an email so late in the day that I could not of even tried to send flowers from a more reliable business if I tried. I DO NOT RECOMMEND for you important flower delivery for loved ones. Not worth the risk! If I could give less than one star I would have.
I ordered from AVAS FLOWERS, was fine yill the price doubled another story.the flowers arrived for mothers day and it was a shock how they looked...bad not even a little close the there pictures. I called made a complaint, they offered to send more as mothers day is ending. Then offered 1/2 of the price of flowers only, which is 1/4 of the total bill. Never again. They had no pride in there work it should not be passed on to consumers. To be fully reimbursed would be the only coarse aposed to loosing a costumers and dampening a mothers day...
I paid extra for bouquet of 15 Lillie's in a beautiful glass vase from their website. The flowers came with only 8 Lillie's that had bloomed, cut down to fit into a religious ceramic vase with a cross on it. I'm a believer in Christ but I was ordering something romantic for my girlfriend. Totally the wrong vibe and nothing near what was expected. Tried to complain to customer service and they were not accommodating at all. They said they met the requirements of what o paid for, not so. Really disappointed in their service and would tell anyone not to order from them ever. You have no idea of what you will receive. Images on website are nothing like what you may get.
Late arriving and not what I ordered ( they were flowers). Ordered because of colors shown! Customer service called but kept hanging up!
The only good thing l can say about Ava's Flowers is that my order was delivered on the right day. I paid over $100 for my daughters arrangement for Mother's Day and it was not the right arrangement. It was tiny and it should of been a larger size. I had to pay extra for the bow, which was small and skinny-not a nice wide one. I also had to pay extra for the small card saying who it was from. Please do not buy from them. On a scale from 1-10
I give them a big fat 0.
Ordered flowers and wanted them delivered for Mothers Day. The first big RED FLAG was they say that they don't guarantee the time of delivery, I should have went somewhere else then. Then they started talking about something called Flex Delivery, where your order can take up to 3 days to be delivered! They gonna make themselves look like incompetent morons delivering 3 days after Mothers Day! I never agreed to this and would have never paid the outrageous prices for an order I would never see had I known this earlier! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. My wife works in a popular restaurant with a bunch of other women. I told her about the situation and asked her to tell everyone that works there as well and their customers not to use Avasflowers cause they will never see their order. And when I talked to their chatbot and called their customer service, you only get a robot that can't help you with anything and it keeps hanging up on me. I got no status updates and I was left completely in the dark about everything. Find a local florist, you are better off.
This is a bs service, don't waste your time trying to get flowers for any special occasion. Canceled my order on Sunday which was mother's day. Ordered the flowers on Thursday before mother's day and they canceled delivery on Friday. I paid Extra to get these delivered express and never delivered. I WILL NOT EVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN...
The title of the review says it all: flowers ordered, credit card charged (including ridiculously high fees and add-ons from Avas) and the bouquet simply never showed up. Avas provided tracker is no help either, it simply states that the details are unavailable, and are the domain of FedEx, USPS or the local florist - except Avas doesn't provide any of that information, just their internal order and tracking number. Avoid at all costs!
Paid $116 for a flower arrangement. Was given a 3 day delivery window, (mind you this order was placed 4 days before the delivery was supposed arrive) now we got an email the day the order was supposed to be delivered, that it won't arrive until tomorrow. DON'T PROMISE PEOPLE A DELIVERY WINDOW IF YOU CAN'T DELIVER IN THAT WINDOW! I would have been fine if they would have told me at checkout they couldn't make the delivery on the day I wanted it, but to send me an email on the it's supposed arrive is just ridiculous.
This is how Avas flowers does business. You go on the website and order the flower arrangement you want. They try to upsell you on everything including the little card.
OK, I sort of expected that. So I order the arrangement to be delivered to my mother on Mother's Day several days prior to Mother's Day. I wake up Mother's Day morning to an automated email, telling me they don't have that particular arrangement available and they cannot deliver on the day that I picked. They told me this on Mother's Day, now I have no other options. This company is nothing but a scam. They cannot deliver what they advertise. Do not waste your time and money dealing with this incompetent business. They will not deliver.
Poor poor quality! Wrong flowered sent and they tacked on a high service charge that made the poor quality flowerers from a grocery store.EXPENSIVE. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A Joke, will never use them again!
Ordered a Mother's Day arrangement. Paid in full, complete with their "service fee". I get an email ON MOTHER'S DAY, that the delivery cannot be made. Unprofessional! Please read the reviews first before purchasing. There is a reason they are mostly 1-star.
Placed order at 6:47 a.m. for my mother in law on Friday b4 Mother's day. Delivery window between the 12th and Sunday the 14th, which I was fine with. We live down south, shes up North. Received an email just after 6 p.m. that even stating due to volume of orders they would not be able to make the delivery until the Tuesday AFTER Mothers Day. I was furious that now all local flower shops were closed up North, they'd left us with no other options and had waited that long to inform us. When I called their resolution was to offer $15 off the order. Not even close to acceptable. Especially when they offered "free delivery" when using some special promo code but at check out you then see this surprise $28 "service fee" but by the time you see this you're almost done and just suck it up. But that's sneaky and so shady. So all said and done, badly run business, then, can't even offer any compensation off TRUE order total. Instead, just half I'd their SURPRISE service fee. I told them HELL NO just cancel and issue a refund immediately. What a joke. Stay far away from this place!
Worst company I ever dealt with. Ordered flowers 2 weeks before mother's day. They had a flex delivery to deliver Thursday or Friday. I received no updates, no apologies & no flowers. There's no one to talk to. Ridiculous
I received 11 emails from them in the space of 24 hours. The first was to verify my credit card; then when I verified it, I received another 4 emails; each email asked me to call. When I called, their automated system didn't recognize my inputs. So I tried their website chat, but that was just a bot. So I sent them an instagram message - all this was to confirm that they had artistic authority to make the bouquet slightly different than the picture. Then I received two more emails the next day saying the delivery would be late (even though the planned date is still two days away) due to my slow responses. Just impossible. Will never use them again.
The flowers my mom received looked nothing like the picture and I ordered the option that says that its exactly like the picture! For $80 is ridiculous. That's including the $21 service fee that they added at the checkout..
Absolutely awful experience. Just randomly cancelled my order 2 days before Mother's Day. Could not get through to find out why and they do not have a customer service team to speak of. DO NOT MAKE MY MISTAKE! This is a scam and a rip off. How they are maintained on Google with these reviews is beyond me.
Answer: Scam! They are not a local company, they cannot deliver, and if they do, apparently they are completely wrong or dead flowers. They don't want to deliver flowers for you... they are after your $30 service fee. They hope you cancel your order and they keep the fee. STAY CLEAR! No customer service and a website full of legalese... can you appear any more fraudulent? A scam, a fraud, a company that uses COVID-19 and your mother (Mother's Day) to steal money from the public. They need to be in jail.
Answer: You cannot. Their number is an automated attendant that hangs up on you and email is unmonitored. This is a scam.
Answer: Sometimes easy and quick is mot the way to go when it comes to a loved one. I learned my lesson.
