I added a 2nd line on my account, a Iphone for my niece, which was a free phone. Unfortunately, it was mailed to the wrong address, and by the time the issue was caught, I was told the promotion was over. I was then offered a different Iphone, in which I would have a credit on my account of $16.67 per month, therefore paying only $5 per month. I agreed to the deal. Several months later, I changed my plan because my niece was not going to need it for a few months. Customer service failed to tell me that by doing so, it would void the promotion. I have been calling AT&T every since Jan/Feb of 2021 to correct the issue. One day I spoke to 3-4 people during the call, the final individual, a supervisor, promised that the issue would be corrected and would not need to call every month regarding the issue. Sadly as of September 2021, I am still calling AT& T regarding this issue. Even today, September 10th, I spent almost 1 hr on the phone, without resolve, the specialist Sonya promised she'd call back before her shift ended... no call. I am so disappointed that AT&T did not, does not, value me as a long term customer, and after months of going back and fourth, still have NOT handled this matter. Months ago, I called to cancelled due to this issue; I was going to go with Verizon, however, they promised they would handle it... month after month, nothing but broken promised. I will be going with another carrier that has more integrity. Ms. McNair

I had four appointments for service. Three were no call no show and the fourth the tech arrived 50 minutes after my 2-4 window. I didn't make the appointment for 4:50. Stayed home for three days waiting. Didn't even contact me I had to contact AT&T!
Man ATT has gone way down! All they do is lie and lie. They suspended a line I no longer needed stating I would not be bill since no use! NOPE wrong! They billed me every month. On top of that I did a big payment of 618.84 and They tried to charge me again. That they had no record I was quick to pull up my bank statement. Seems their system missed it". Really? They apologized and said they would credit my suspended line for recieving incorrect information. They transferred me and seems they don't communicate they said no credit and I would be billed all over again. Walking right over to another phone store and canceling everything with these people including my cable. Now I see why fedex is full of there devices from so many customers cancel. Ridiculous!
On 8/27/21 out neighbor decided to add internet. The att box was in our yard. When hooking it up the tech cut our service. My son is home on leave after year long deployment. He just wants to play online video games. My wife went and told the tech who was still next door. He said he didn't do anything and left. Now they can't get back until next week to repair it. My sons leave will be over. When it told att this, they don't seem to care. I guess they don't care much about the military. Switching service as soon as possible.

Wrongly suspended both numbers. Unable day after day to get the problem fixed. Outsourcing is a major problem. Reps speak poor English and failed to understand problem. Many phone calls and long waits were unacceptable. After 10 days and much frustration went to a Service center to exchange unfixable phone with a new one.
When contract is up will switch to Verizon.
We switched from Verizon to At&T due to the promos they were offering. That was in April. We were told that it would take a month or 2 for credits to hit our bill. It has been 5 months, they credited 1 phone that was part of a trade in promo, but not the 2nd. No record of it, they said. I had to spend 45 mins on the phone with them today, only to be told that I have to go back to the branch that I signed up at. Our bill was to be $203 -for 2 phones, that was also with a tax qoute. We have been billed $296. Each month since we signed up. Completley disappointed in this company. We will be switching back to Verizon!
I bought an s10 lite like a year or two ago. They said it's a "3g" device and will be blocked coming February with their 3f faze out plan. The manager was like "yah so you can either switch plans or get a new phone. By February your phone would be pretty dated and people think about upgrading by then anyways." No remedies, didn't want to trade in my phone for anything of equal value. They offered me an A12 IF my phone stops working by February. Nice one guys.
I am so frustrated with AT&T causing so much stress and anxiety it's not funny. They have lied cheated and stole from us. They have not held up to their end of their agreement even though it's on paper. Their signed agreement paperwork is set up in a manner in which they can say this is not what we offer and leaving you with an agreement that they do not hold up to. Then when you called to correct the problem they will hand you down the line until you have wasted hours upon hours of your day. I will no longer be there victim. I only give them a one star because that's what's offered.
We bought a cable to charge the cell phone. After a few months the connector that goes in the phone fell out. We took it to AT&T on Foothill in Hayward thinking we could exchange for another one and found out there is only a 2 week period given for returns on accessories. This is outrageous to the customers who spend a lot of money on AT&T phones.
Just wanted to alert the public to be aware of the lack of customer service if a lemon is sold.

Be very careful with trade-in options because if you change your plan they will give you less than 10% of what was originally promised! That means you will lose approximately 90% of the value of your old phone (that is a lot of money!)!
Also, the agents won't tell you anything about this. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! This is hidden in their contracts and you will be quite surprised when you realize that you are not receiving any kind of discount on your phone installments three or four months later.
I have had multiple problems with them. I've had service for 30 years. My first run in was UVerse. I canceled service and they continued billing for 2 months. I was out $600. I contacted them and they said they never received the equipment. I gave them the warehouse ref number to show that they did receive. All good check on way even gave me check number. No check. 14 calls later and still no money. Each time they said they fixed and money on the way. My wife said they just are trying to wear me out and I'll just give up. She was right. I got tired of wasting 3 hours each time trying to rectify their stealing from me. Second problem. My wife and I had watches with lte service. I had mine for 2 years and hers 3 months. I would miss important calls from my watch number and didn't understand. I tried calling my number and got a message ' You cannot complete call because the voice mailbox is full'. Hold on My watch doesn't have a mail box. Tech said the same thing. This happened 4 times and 4 times AT&T fixed it. Well here I am again, no service. I'm paying $30 month for 2 watches with no service. I get so tired of always calling in and wasting time on the same old thing. I've paid for how many months with no lte service on my watch. I called in to cancel service on both watches and they try to gloss over it like it's nothing. They ask if I really want to cancel. I said sure, I save $30 a month for the same service which is ZERO. I couldn't give my watch number out anymore because I was getting too many complaints that they couldn't get through. 30 years of being a customer and this is how they treated.
This is a disgusting company like literally no other words can describe it. I placed an online order for internet and they said it was take about 2 days woo! Wrong. It has been almost 2 weeks and I still do not have internet. But what I did get is an at&t technician to come out to my house to try and SELL ME AT&T PHONE SERVICE AFTER WASTING 2 WEEKS OF MY TIME. NOOO I DON'T WANT A HORRIBLE PHONE COMPANY TOO! I digress… however this man literally came and did nothing but try and sell me at&t phone service in my OWN HOME. Very uncomfortable. And they shipped me multiple Internet Modems (internet box) and then told me i had to ship them back before I could get the right one (wasting my TIME & GAS) but then I couldn't even return the box because I didn't know the account number associated which I WOULDN'T KNOW BECAUSE I DIDN'T PLACE THAT ORDER…… I really wish I was lying about even 1 part of this but i'm really not. And now I finally got my box and it will not set up properly. I know about this stuff and know it's not my fault and now they say they are only going to give me a credit for the first 7 days of the month…WHAT! But now are sending out a technician to "fix" it aka probably try and sell me phone service and realize he's not an advanced enough technician and I didn't just plug it in wrong and have to send a real person here and then I'll have to call back again and wait an hour on the phone to talk to the supervisor to get the measly 3 more days added onto my 7 days of free credit …. Absolutely ridiculous dude I am self employed and if I treated people like this I would be in jail.
In March 2021 I added a new line for my daughter. I was looking on the website for what phone to get. AT&T was offering an iPhone XS for 30 payments of $5 per month. ($150 total). I had a question about the new line and called AT&T to talk with customer service. While on the phone they said I could complete the order over the phone, so I did. Fast forward 3 months and I am being charged $30 per month for the new phone. I did three online chats (1 hr each) with AT&T to question the charges, each time I was told they would correct the problem and I would receive confirmation via email. I did not receive any email confirmations, so I called AT&T. After many calls, transfers, disconnects I learn that because the order was processed over the phone, the discount does not apply and there is nothing they can do. I will be charged 30x$30= $900 for a phone that was supposed to cost me $150. After 5-1/2 hrs trying to resolve this issue with AT&T the best they can do is give me a $400 credit to my account. So now I am paying $500 for a phone that was advertised as $150. The AT&T employee who processed the order never told me that I would be charged full price for the phone, even though I was very clear that I was discussing the $5 per month offer.

One star is too much for them. They are the worst to deal with and completely incompetent. You get a different answer from every person u talk to. Not one person is trained properly and all they do is pass the bucket from one incompetent dept to another. Pls do yourself a favor and use Verizon.
This company is a joke. They don't care about their customers, they have people working in the middle east that promise you stuff over the phone and then they don't want to honor it. In my case this person promised a $20 discount for bundling 2 services, and it took them 3 -4 months to bundle the services, and after that when i called to get my discount, they said the dont offer the discount anymore. I asked them to go back and listen to the recorded conversation, and they said they conversations stay on their system for only 30 days, are you kidding me? Bunch of incompetent people and im just waiting for the phones contract to end so i can leave this stupid company. Be careful with this company, run away!
The worst customer service ever! They don't help you budget. Don't work with you at all I will be switching carriers. Then when you Makena payment they cut your service anyway..
Answer: Terrible service, this is the worst service I've ever had. Canceled all services with this company after my customer service experience. Customer service is horrible, their service in general is horrible, and they don't offer anything I can't get at any other competitors store. I wouldn't recommend service or work with this company, they are discriminatory and bias. All they do is take advantage of you and try to sell you stuff that you don't need so they can raise their commission. If you want to be serviced by a bunch of dilettantes, this is the place for you, bad service, work, and experience, Joshua at legacy village has terrible customer service experience.
Answer: At this point I am so disgusted with a T and T your customer service skills are horrible they don't help you out they keep transferring you to different departments just to get you off the phone they do not like to resolve problems and promises that they made they do not keep their promises they get you into getting into their products and getting their commission and then they screw you out of what they promise you I do advise anybody to go through a TNT they are lousy
