The worse place
November 1, 2021

I purchased with this company only to never receive my product. I honestly never do reviews but I want to safe someone for ever going through what i went through with this company. If you choose to purchase make sure they have product in stock or I recommend go to the store.

When I was trying to set up service the man asked me some questions for confirmation and they were in 2016 who did I take an auto loan through? Well I cosigned for 3 kids and have a car of my own and did not know! Next question was in 1993 who did I take out a Student loan through... well that has changed numerous times and didn't have any idea. I failed and he said I had to download a bunch of stuff and I said no thanks, I will just go to Spectrum, I said it nicely, as I was in the middle of a move and did not have a time. He said: " You are so lazy" Are you kidding me? To be talked about that way?! By the way I am 58 years old and in tip top shape and work out 6 days a week while working full time and just picked up a part time job! Do I deserve to be called lazy! I was given a time for the installer to come out on 3 different occasions between 11:30 and 2 time slot. The installer called at 8am and said he would be there in 25 min. I could not get a hold of the person I had set up to be there for him. So I secretly called from my office in a high school that I share with 5 other people. I did not want anyone to know I was doing personal business. The person I was talking too kept beating around the bush, so I asked for a manager... he said quit shouting at me. I was making a secret phone call from work and he said I was shouting? He also said I should call the original person I talked too! 1st, does anyone really know who they originally talked too? Secondly if by some rare chance I did... could I really contact him/her again? I use to think At & T was good, it has been 4 years since I was with them, but WOW oh WOW have they gone down hill! So disappointed, thank goodness we are not in contract! Nobody deserves to get talked to the way I did! I am a professional, kind and deserve to be treated that way!

I had been a loyal AT&T customer for 35+ years. I had a fire that destroyed my home. I suspended my service due to the fire. Every 6 months AT&T would start rebilling me. I had to explain that the house was not rebuilt yet. They would suspend for another 6 months. This went on for 18 months. The house is finished and I am ready to get service. Then a new bill charging me for the burned modem. Over 35 years of service and this is how AT&T wants to treat loyalty. I guess that works both ways. I am so disappointed in AT&T's lack of compassion.

AT&T killing it!
October 18, 2021

Well, we are constantly hearing about how "lazy" and "unmotivated" our young people are, I would like to point out what an AMAZING job these young people did on getting Nancy and I a MUCH better cell phone plan. They were polite and friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. They were excited about their product, but not pushy or high pressure, Please like and share this picture so that these fine young people may get the accolades they deserve. Left to right, is Hanna, Tom, and unfortunately I didn't get the young man's name on the right but he was also great.

I was on the phone for over an hour. I was provided several different phone numbers and transferred to several different departments. It was all so frustrating. I ended up speaking directly with the Manager, Eleane who eventually dropped the call on me an never called me back. I still did not get my issue addressed.

I will never get a personal account of my own with AT&T. Just not worth the headache.

I like Sam's Club but their partnership with AT&T has to go. I contracted with AT&T at Sam's Club. They promised me $110 a month for three phones and the same coverage as Verizon at least in my area. On top they explained I had nothing to lose with a 30 day trial. Sounds good right! Well... I had a weak signal at my house and 10 miles of sparse to no coverage on my way to work. So I sent it all back and thought that was the end of that. They did a $380 direct debit to my credit card. Well... attempted anyway it so happens I had an issue with that card and it did go through. So I called them and reminded them of the 30 day trial. They apologized and said they would take care of it and sent me a receipt saying the same. The following month I got another attempt to debit my card this time for $271. Again I called and they gentleman said my account read balance due $0, and he didn't know what I was talking about. The following week I get a nasty letter "FINAL NOTICE" they are turning me into collections. So again I call this time they know nothing about the $0 balance and can't understand why I haven't paid my bill. I ask for a supervisor, just when it sounded like he was going to take care of it and hour and a half later we were disconnected. Well... I waited 20 minutes since he had my number and I didn't have his. I call back and ask for "Jesus" the supervisor. No one knows a supervisor by that name. I start over this time a few minutes into the call the gal says she took care of it and I would be getting a confirmation in my email. I ask if I can have that confirmation number? She replies "No" it has to be generated? But offers her name and ID number I take it and write it down. To date no email confirmation. Now a week later I again am being harassed by AT&T starting over. They advised me that they just debited the original $380. I don't see how they could have that card has been canceled. Here we go again, now I'm sure I will be getting another final notice. I'm checking into FCC complaints and I will be repeating this with every review location I can find. Why would I or anyone else do business with an unethical company like this. I promise AT&T we will never do business, and Sam's you should think twice who you associate with and vouch for.

Stay away
October 3, 2021

I would never recommend them at all. First off they lie to you from the start. The service reliable, hell no, lie one. The price stated in the store, hell no, lie two. Phone discounts, not really, lie three. I blame myself because what sound good ain't always the truth and I know this. So I blame myself. But on the other hand if I tell you this service is not working for me because I am on dialysis and disabled all my calls drop after a few minutes sitting down. They keep sending signals not working. All I want is to get out this contract because they lied and my life depends on food phone service. They don't care I have to pay over a 1000 dollars for 2 phones that in my contract is stated sale price 150 a piece which is 300. Stay away from the store completely. I leave in a rural area which I know can be hard but they have my address at the beginning and told me it had perfect service. Why do I have to pay for lies no service no hotspot and dropped conversations even when I try to call customer service but they blame it on the people I'm talking to service, bull $#*! I don't want to hear that. Now some of my friends do have at&t so it could be them because your service(AT&T) sucks. Now I know one thing my mom got Verizon and they always got good service so that's a lie.

Problems with spam e-mail texts & robocalls through ATT. No way to control them because when I block them they come in on different e-mail addresses & phone numbers. Problems below:
TEXTS - Texts that are robo e-mails; mostly from g-mail & hotmail accounts. They contain links with porn or sales. Didn't even know you can send an e-mail to a phone number.
PHONE CALLS - With ATT if I block them, they still go to voicemail & they just keep coming with new phone numbers so it's a constant battle. Changed my settings to accept calls only from people in contact list; what could possibly go wrong there, lol?
ATT said I should change my phone number. Really, there are other people having this problem. I've had that number since my first cell phone. Maybe they should provide better service or allow more blocking options.
Really frustrated, as you can tell, ready to throw away my phone; it's useless to me anyway.

Not understanding
October 1, 2021

This company is horrible… the service doesn't work they blame it on our cell phone which aren't old and then when I asked them if they can extend my payment arrangement due to my work situation only paying me once a month, I just found that out and reached out for understanding…and AT&T told me they couldn't help me… I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years. It's sad that a company this size couldn't make an exception for a loyal customer struggling through these rough times.

AT&T has gotten so large that they could care less if even 10% of their clients gave them one star. Deceptive, scammers, poor service, poor everything. I've had pigeons help me more than an att rep. I get better internet in a third world country that with my att service. Sad for the people that MUST stay with this service.

Worst company ever
September 17, 2021

If you don't want your time wasted please do not go with At&T! I have been on hold for an hour because they make me pay more than I should and I'm supposed to talk to some from loyalty and it's been more than 1 hour wasting my $#*!ing time and still no one is on the phone with me. Literally the worst company!

RING doorbell.
September 16, 2021

We heard your conversation to another co worker at At&t... even tho you didn't push the RING doorbell. The man on the phone said "Don't worry about the barking dog".
Yes, dogs bark when strangers knock. One should be concerned about barking dogs, dogs are protective.
Reaching for the door handle before knocking is not acceptable, yet we do appreciate David informing us of his presence before entering our property without breaking the fence handle like previous At&t man did years ago that could have been bit by one of our aggressive dogs.

Negative connotation
September 15, 2021

I am writing this review on behalf of my 82 year old mother and it pains me to have to do so. After years of being a loyal AT&T customer, my mother's Wi-Fi router stopped working. She is low income and doesn't speak English, and the router is the only way she can communicate in her native language and connect with family. When her router stopped working, AT&T stopped her service and said it would cost her $125 to have someone come and remove it. They did not offer any assistance and refused to have a technician come out to help her fix the broken one or replace it. This is not the type of service that AT&T is known for and is frankly embarrassing. My mother is heartbroken that she can't communicate with family and it seems inappropriate that AT&T is taking advantage of her like this. We want this issue resolved ASAP.

I am living overseas. Today I called ATT about problems with my international plans from my 3 month visit in the USA. I was transfered to Zolanda and I was totally blown away by her care, patience, and dedication to help her customers solve their problems. After several rough experiences with ATT service, this was so refreshing and unexpected. I still am very unpleased with how ATT has way overcharged me this past few months and has not given me the refund that I need, but with employees like Zolanda working for you, it gives a better future for company. She's truly an angel and I give her 20 stars and more! Rachel

They trick you into switching and screw you over your trade in. I traded an S21 and till this day they have not given anything. It was supposed to be a 1 time credit of $320 and now they will only do credit every month. They lie every time I call them. They never get right department and waste your time. I have spend hours trying to resolve things with no luck. They are the most crooked company and I can not wait to get rid of them. Do not make the same mistake. Stay away from att

Horrible Customer Service
September 12, 2021

Expect to wait at least an hour for someone to pick up the phone. Then the person will have to transfer you to the "right" person and you'll have another hefty wait. I have bundled service with ATT for 20 years, but the service has only worsened over time. As soon as I finish giving ATT the deserved lowest rating, I'm going to find another carrier for my phone, internet, and TV. ATT service is the worst!

A few days ago I visited my local AT & T Store (Rainbow City Alabama) seeking remedy to a technical issue I had with a recently new cell phone I recently purchased. Sales Consultant, Ms. Eymi Zelaya asked me if I needed some assistance after I entered the store. After explaining my dilemma, Ms. Zelaya told me not to worry and that she would have my new phone up and running in no time. After a short while, Ms. Zelaya was able to cut through all the red tape with AT & T's Tech Support and got my phone operational. During that time, Ms. Zelaya never got frustrated with me asking questions, all while keeping a smile and maintaining her professionalism at the same time. There was a moment or two when she did consult the Store Manager (his name escapes me) to make sure she was on track and he was very cooperative as well. Finally, you're very fortunate to have Retail Sales Consultants such as Ms. Zelaya and Store Managers like the gentleman on duty at that time. AT & T forever!
