Worst service ever
January 19, 2022

Long wait times and when you do get a human they do not listen or understand what you are talking about. Also double dipped on my bank account and another's as we separated our auto pay into two separate accounts. When asked to speak to their supervisor was told they were in a meeting and would call me back within one hour. Didn't happen and can't say I am surprised.

On Friday 1/15/22 assiciate added a higher plan than what was stated to me. I was a new customer and the manager didn't have the balls to come out and speak with me. He put my complaint off on a new associate.
Be careful with. AT&T. They are snakes!

Horrible / fraudulent
January 16, 2022

I unlocked my phone 1/12/22 and it 1/16/22 and they are refusing to unlock my phone. Att services is horrible they didn't send my email to confirm I paid it off. Had to go to. Store show where I paid it off and had to get the receipt they refuse to send that as well to my email. They told me 24 hr and from 12 th-16th is way more then 24 hr. They took my money and didn't fulfill there end. They was supposed to send a confirmation email on the 12 th stating my unlocked was pending That process didn't get done until I went in store sat and the ice rep. Told me and we did it then. Att is not treating customers relight but prices are sky high. Had to work and when I get off they was close. But if you pat them online they should have finished my process and still shouldn't be having problems getting this phone unlocked. I DO. NOT RECOMMEND NO ONE TO JSE ATT. SERVICES IS HORRIBLE. AND IT'S2022 WHEN WRITING THIS REVIEW

Bait and Switch
January 15, 2022

Twice we signed up for promotions with AT&T. Twice there were hidden fees that made the promotion not worth while. Twice I felt slimed. The first time was five years ago. They offered us a free iPad. I grilled them on the phone about hidden costs. They insisted there were none. There was a monthly service fee that we had no intention of affording. By the time we found out about it, they refused to let us out of it. More recently, I signed up for internet service on a promotion with two weeks to cancel. I cancelled, and they billed me anyway. They honor they put in writing. What the sales person says out loud is not tracked, and according to them, never happened.

I ordered a phone decided to send it back unopened and they told me they received it and gave me back my money from taxes. Next bill I was charged 827.00 for the phone they have. I spend 4 hours on the phone today for them to tell me they are keeping the phone and my money because I didn't read the fine print

What a joke
January 14, 2022

I began 12/27/21 at the att on 135 in greenwood. From the gate it has been a $#*! show. They have had to ship 3 phones 3 times because they mistyped the phone numbers and they were never going to ship in the 1st place. Sitting on hold for 30-60 minutes every time I've called which has been more that 10 times in 2.5 weeks. Then on the phone w customer service for 10+ hours. Not exaggerating! All I wanted was to switch my service at T-Mobile to Att and bring 4 other lines. We got 4 new phones. Isn't this what they do everyday! Now I can't activate one of the phones because the other 2 lines were "just activated". Wtf does that even mean! For such a big company, they have no idea what they are doing. It is truly a joke. I can't believe I am saying this but I should've stayed w T-Mobile. Service at att sucks, it is awful and the worst I have ever dealt with… if you want a big headache and wasted time on the phone w att, go ahead and switch

What happened to AT&T
January 11, 2022

This "service" I've received today is absolutely disgusting. I received a call today about new installation scheduled tomorrow when I never agreed to installation. I called with an issue the other day and got sales which kept reading me a disclosure which I kept answering no to, he kept saying it was necessary to transfer me, I still told him no. He laughed and finally transferred me. I called Cust Service today and they saw the order. They couldn't cancel it. Called installer back and he said it was new service scheduled or an upgrade. He said I needed to get to cust. Loyalty to cancel the service request. Called to get to cust loyalty, had a rude agent who kept putting me on hold and i waited on "dead air" then to be transferred to the queue again and then hung up on (this was an hour process... while I'm at work). I am now on hold AGAIN to try to cancel the installation tomorrow and this is now the 5th call. To which I told the automated system that I wanted to cancel service. There is a repeat in the automated system that keeps repeating "tired of unwanted calls..." over and over again. This has been a waste of time and stress that is absolutely unacceptable. This is a disgrace, and although I just wanted to cancel the installation call scheduled tomorrow WHICH I NEVER MADE, I now just want to cancel service since this is not how I think a reputable and capable "business" should behave. I'm absolutely disgusted in the lack of help and knowledge these employees have. I'd just like to ask the question, "WHAT HAPPENDED TO AT&T?"

Power pole was replaced after tree fall. All work completed on the pole except to reinstall phone cable owned by AT&T. Spent 4 days trying a multitude of customer service numbers and agents and this cable is still not installed! I left AT&T 15 years ago because their customer service is nonexistent and they won't maintain or upgrade the cable near me. 4 days on hold and I still can't get someone to reinstall this cable on the pole. Now, after writing all of this I have to create an account?

I spoke with sales rep Shaun Thompson via video chat on the AT&T website. He was extremely knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. Great job AT&T for setting yourself apart (from pretty much all of corporate USA these days) by continuing to provide REAL PEOPLE & quality customer service vs. forced online chats, useless bots and endless wait times.

AT&T said they were having a promotion and if I got a new phone from them and traded in my old one it would only cost me $78 bucks. It was a lie. Now I'm trying to return the new phone for a refund which they are trying to not give me. BEWARE!

Atrocious Customer Service Experience
January 8, 2022

Absolutely the worst customer service I've experienced in my life! AT&T is a disgrace. I had an internet fiber installation appointment today between 10a-noon. I received FOUR reminder calls from them about this appointment in the last week, even received one just an hour before the start of my appointment window reminding that there should be someone under 18 in the house when the technician arrives. Noon comes and goes. I call customer service and turns out there isn't even a technician assigned to my order. In other words no one is even scheduled to come. The agent claims she is unable to contact dispatch to figure out what's going on since there is no technician assigned, that she can only communicate with dispatch once there is a technician assigned and she's never seen a situation for an order without a technician assigned. In other words, customer service is unable to communicate with dispatch and dispatch does not bother to communicate with customer service or the customer. She asks if she can call me back and give me an update later and MAYBE there will be a technician assigned by then. FOUR hours later the agent calls me back and tells me my order is still pending and there is still no technician assigned to my order. She tells me all she can do is reschedule me for another day! Excuse me? You have no clue what's going on and can't tell me why my order is being completely flubbed today, so you want me to reschedule for another day so I can waste a whole other day being ignored?!?! I'm supposed to be confident that whatever clusterfudge this is will be magically resolved by then? I tell her to cancel the order and this genius tells me that she will have to transfer me to the loyalty department to cancel my order. I then had to wait another hour just to get my order canceled. The beauty of it is that the loyalty dept was completely confused and said that the customer service agent should have been able to cancel the order herself. Lovely! No one at AT&T has any clue what they are doing! If this is how someone trying to become a customer is treated then I can't imagine how frustrating it is once they've got you locked in. NEVER AGAIN.

They will sell you 5g even if your area doesn't have towers. I addressed it and it's basically SOL. Rude staff, everyone giving me the run around. Go to Verizon they are way better. Once I get out of this prison sentence of a contract I'm going right back to Verizon. HEY ATNT I WILL REMOVE THIS IF YOU LET ME OUT OF MY CONTRACT. Until then people. Make the right choice. Even if it's not Verizon atnt is trash service. I was in my contract for maybe 30 days after I started to slowly learn service is awful in my area. I called and said " hey why is my service so terrible?" "Oh it looks like there aren't any 5g towers in your network. Oh? So remove my plan because that's what I signed up for? Ope sorry no can do. I am firing them after I get my issue resolved and will not only ever do business with them again, but will also make it my life's mission to tell everyone to stay away from this garbage company. What happened is that I was late on my bill. They turned off my phone IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY while my wife was out and about in a snow storm! When I tried to contact customer service to talk to them, THEY TOOK ALL THOSE OPTIONS AWAY since I'm a "loser" that's late on his bills. Literally, no option for online chat (since I can't even try and call them), and then when I tried to call them from my VOIP app on my phone using home wifi, they somehow recognized my phone is associated with my ATT account so they only gave me 1 option which is to pay, no questions asked no other options. AND, this is a small business account, so I'd assume these idiots would not treat business people that way. This really reminds me of how I'm treated by airport companies and gov't institutions.

I switched to ATT last summer. Incompetent associates in stores created second account which I was not aware of. So I was charged for the same iPhone and 2 lines on 2 accounts. I was not receiving bills for the second account.
Yesterday I found about my second account from my credit report, which shows collection being started on me. Calling ATT support does not help. They see, they made a mistake, but they can not help, because now my account is not with ATT but with collection company.
Thank you for your outstanding service!

No refund
January 3, 2022

I cancelled TV & phone & internet service with AT&T in September 2021. October 1,2021, I received notice that I had a credit balance of minus $75.53. I expected a check. When the check did not arrive, I called on 11-29-21, and was told to wait another billing cycle. I called again today, 1-3-22, and was told the check was processed on 11-15-21, and to call 1-877-8555 for refunds. I was not given that information the first time I called. I called the 877-8555 number twice. Both times I was asked for my AT&T credit card number. I was not calling about a credit card problem. I don't have an AT&T credit card. I was given no opportunity to ask about my refund. Each time I call I must wait 15-20 minutes or longer "for the next available representative."
