Her business from home and needs a land line. Its been nearly six weeks without the land line phone.
We have had appointments twice with an AT&T service tech, no one showed up either time. We left Comcast for the same reason, for sub standard customer service. I don't know how either of these companies remain in business, probably no competition. In the area we live, these are our only choices.

ATT&T IS THE WORST PHONE COMPANY EVER. THE REPS ARE LIARS THEY SAY ANYTHING TO MAKE A SALE. AND LEAVE YOU WITH A REALLY HIGH BILL MONTH AFTER MONTH. I'M COMING FROM T-MOBILE AND I REGRET SWITCHING OVER TO ATT&T. PLEASE DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY.
Okay so I get that at&t is supposed to have high speed network, and they do! There's a catch tho, it. Never. Works. For the last ehh, let's say 2-3 months we've basically been paying for nothing…Like I have to use my cellular data just to avoid getting irritated with it not working. We got someone to come over and look at it, he supposedly "fixed it" but didn't come in the house to look at wires or the gateway, anything really… So it was working fast, good, no interruptions for about a week. Then it stopped working, for like two months. We called at&t yesterday and they said it was that the gateway was not updated, so they shipped us a new one. Ten dollars. I still can't get it to work and at&t just wastes your time and money. Worst wifi out there. Oh! Also, the customer service kinda sucks so be prepared to get annoyed! :)
A simple request of changing a home number turned into 1 1/2 hour phone call, $30 refund, $99 refund and still having a bill of $53! Please explain to me; How hard is this process?!? Not to mention being told I'm still being billed for internet that I canceled 7 months ago and was give $150 refund because I actually canceled last July 2021! They just keep screwing up my billing and my request for change of service because I'm elderly and they think I'm stupid! But this will be fixed or they will be SUED!
I was on a call with an agent in late March 2022, and she was very kind and helpful. She set me up with a new wireless agreement that allows for two lines. I am now being charged MUCH more and no one is willing to assist me in getting the transcript or recording of the call between her and I. The guy I was talking to said I was not allowed to have a recording or transcript. I was transferred to a different department to find out that the guy I talked to told this new lady that I just wanted to cancel... I corrected this and the lady told me she would transfer me to the proper department to give me the recording. It was a dead line. I am so upset with how they are tossing me about and not allowing for proper resolution. All I was offered was a one-time credit of $20... What a disgrace of a company.
Paid phone repair insurance for several years. Finally had a claim for a cracked screen. The company that ATT contracts with was scheduled to come to our home and repair. They called and cancelled twice. The third time they just closed the ticket. No call, no show. I couldn't be more disappointed. ATT is responsible for the quality of their subcontractors. ATT mobile is very expensive and the customer service for repairs is just unacceptable. We will try Spectrum Mobile. $80 less per month and the customer service can't possibly be worse.
AT&T wireless has been the worst business, I regret signing up with them very expensive, I had a sales rep come to my home flirt with me in front of my husband and he didn't get fired or written up. And my bill is sky high. A Few staff members didn't even take care of my account accordingly. I'm very disappointed specially now. When our world is upside down. I was a loyal customer of ATT for about 6 years, give or take. I parted ways with them on May 6th 2022. I had both internet and cable with them. Like every relationship it started great. I started at about $120 a month or so. Can't complain. Good internet, great TV line up. Then gradually an increase in the bill. Then another. Finally toward my parting with Then I was at $220 a month and once hitting $250. That's a car payment for good sakes. So anyways. Found another carrier. Easier on the pocket. Waaaay faster internet. So I called on Friday the 6th. My pay period was about half way there. So I asked the girl for being a loyal customer for so many years if there was a way to prorated it. She said she would speak to her manager and after about 5 minutes on wait... GREAT NEWS! "For being a loyal customer we will stop service today and prorate the balance. Yesterday Wednesday May 11th... my bank account... full payment $220. Wow. Beware peeps. ATT has really gone from for the people to $$$. Really peeps. Watch your monthly bills. Don't fall for their bs. When you are a loyal customer like any relationship its all hunky dorry. Call and cancel and let them show you their true colors. Highly disappointed.
So online it says I got fiber internet it's available in January, they said I wouldn't be mailed for over a month! Well didn't even have service for two weeks and it kept buffing, well I found out I wasn't getting what the guy promised me! So I went with another company and I was told they could mail me a label that the mail man could come pick it up at my house! It's almost June and still have not got label for ups or fedex to come get it! They did this for my x mother law! Why not me? But they sent me a final bill for equipment! I call the number and I can't get through! I am sick of bussiness telling customers them what they want to hear and not following they! It's bad bussiness! They need held accountable!
Over at&t very poor customer service. Have warranty and insurance and my phone has a Manufacture malfunction that i e had fixed already at apple and same thing happened 2 weeks after them repairing it. Still no phone that works and stil wanting me to pay $696 for the phone. Mind u i have insurance and warranty. And won't give me another phone without a $250 deductible which i refuse to pay any more money cause it's not my fault they gave me a malfunctioning phone. Such bs please help me out of this nightmare! Do i call attorney or try to switch to another carrier i don't know but i do i'll never refer anyone to this awful phone company. I need help contacting BBB tomorrow but is there anything else i can do?
I took the phone to att in October 2020 and paid for it every month until September 2021. In September I paid the full amount to unlock the phone and gave up att. I filled out an unlock form and left for another country in the hope of using it with another operator and in another country. For 9 months my phone is blocked. Status pending. When I called, they told me that they could not help without a number from att and that I needed to come to their store. I was on the other side of the world. A month ago I returned to the United States. I went to att twice and they only told me that I need to call them. Great, I hope someone can help me with unlocking the phone. Although I still threw away $500 for a phone that doesn't work. Thanks ATT!
Going on 2 years at@t brings up a direct tv bill that doesn't exist. We canceled 2 years ago and paid off account but till this day add this direct tv account to our phone bill that doesn't exist. Get your s@$& together at@t.
Well to start of a tech guy came to fix the wifi so a new box would put on, so he turned off the one we had so the other can be put in. So he willingly left knowing that new box that he was supposed to connect wasn't fully functioning and told the people from ATT that contracted him, that he left it fully functioning. So we set an appointment for may 10 between 4-8 so another technical person come a fixed it and nobody showed up and they put that we cancel the appointment. When we called we spoke to the technical manager Jose Garcia Burjos, he wasn't helpful at all, he didn't want to give the technician name that came nor the number of the ticket of the guy that came. Or send anybody to come still to fix it. We have to now wait until Friday for another technician to come and fix it and see if they do a good job. Another problem we have to use our data cause there's no wifi to do certain stuff. I hope they consider the fact that I have been a customer for years and the way they treated me was not fair to a person that pays the bills monthly I hope ATT can do something different about it
Our phone lines were torn down by a dump truck, as well as our neighbors lines, so we called AT&T for repair service. We were told that someone would be out on 05/09/2022, 11 days out. No one ever came, and when a call was put in to find out why, they claimed that us, or our neighbor never put a request in for repair, so now we have to wait another 9 days to see if someone even bothers to show up this time. When our service is working, we have severe lags and constant buffering. We pay for the extreme dsl service, but it's almost comparable to dial up speeds. I wish I had other options, but they have the monopoly in our county with nothing else available.
They are liars, tricky, greedy stuffs who always, run you around without compromising with customers immediate situation. Don't have service with them, better to be with Verizon or cricket wireless. John kuch
Atnt loves to lure in their customers with great deals and great offers then once they suck you in they charge you all kinds of crazy fees from out of nowhere like late charges and restoring fees even though they make the mistake in the first place of having your service turned off due to their negligence. If you have the choice to go to spectrum or another service I recommend going there and not dealing with AT&t because AT&t will scam you till your pockets are turned inside out.
I purchased a cell phone at the AT&T store in Santee. I was told the cell phone would be delivered to my home. I informed the sale rep that I was still going to be at work at the time of delivery. I asked her if that would be a problem. She told me it would not and that they would just drop it off.
The next day the delivery did come and was asking for me with a valid identification. I was pretty upset at that moment because its exactly what I had asked the sales rep the day before. I contact the store and spoke to the manager.
I quickly learned he was going to be of no help. I explained my situation and he informed he would speak to the associate. Which was fine. Training your employees to be more clear is fine but how is that helping my current situation. He informed me I could just add my boyfriend to the account and the delivery could give it to him. I explained to him I was currently at work and did not know how to add him. Already frustrated with the entire situation the manager became very unprofessional. His words "We have been on the phone 8 minutes we could have finished this 2 minutes ago". So that is how we speak to customers. I asked for his name we he provided and told me he did not have to give me his last name. Which was fine I already knew I was no longer going to continue by business nor recommend anyone to his store.
The delivery driver was able to get me the phone the same day. I appreciate her service. The next day I went to AT&T in person. Absolutely was pleased with customer service. He was so quick I didn't even realize he was finished with my request. Great customer service. The Santee manager could learn a lot from this gentlemen. If I didn't need my phone I would have returned it and purchased at the 5658 Mission Center Road Suite 301.
We are strongly questioning our decision to move from Comcast to AT&T our Internet went out May 7 in the afternoon and now being told no technician can come until late afternoon on Tuesday, May 10 unacceptable - addition were demanding a refund for all the days that we have no Internet and no cable
I had an installation appointment for May 6th from 10-12 and no one showed up, not even a courtesy call and I took time off of work. They rescheduled for May 7th, 12-2 and once again, a no show with no calls. So I canceled abs spectrum hooked me right up with great customer service. If I could give less that one star to AT&T I would. If the most pathetic company that I've ever dealt with.
Back in February of 2021 an att salesmen came to my door and offered cheaper rates and new phones. Well let's just say we got newer phones but the services were sky high. I had 4 lines which averaged out to be about 450$ a month. This by far has been my worst adult decision ever. After a year plus of pay this ridiculous bill I slipped up and missed a payment and called the next day from a text now number because they won't let u speak to anyone from your suspended phone. I was told that a payment of the full 800 bill must be paid and I couldn't even get my phone number back after having it for 5 yrs. My advice is to never choose these guys. They are heartless and very unhelpful
Answer: Terrible service, this is the worst service I've ever had. Canceled all services with this company after my customer service experience. Customer service is horrible, their service in general is horrible, and they don't offer anything I can't get at any other competitors store. I wouldn't recommend service or work with this company, they are discriminatory and bias. All they do is take advantage of you and try to sell you stuff that you don't need so they can raise their commission. If you want to be serviced by a bunch of dilettantes, this is the place for you, bad service, work, and experience, Joshua at legacy village has terrible customer service experience.
Answer: At this point I am so disgusted with a T and T your customer service skills are horrible they don't help you out they keep transferring you to different departments just to get you off the phone they do not like to resolve problems and promises that they made they do not keep their promises they get you into getting into their products and getting their commission and then they screw you out of what they promise you I do advise anybody to go through a TNT they are lousy
